The food is amazing! And the people working are very sweet and so nice. Weve gone a dozen times or so, mostly later at night. I think the vibe is a little cooler when its busier earlier in the night.
Wanted to love this place. Its the old home of the legendary La Perla after all. There was only a couple of people dining in and the owner was at the cash register. He couldnt have been nicer. I asked about the old steam table operation that had been there forever and he said something about the old owners took it and he wasnt allowed to have one. I didnt pursue it. I ordered a carnitas burrito as that was as close to the old pork burrito that la Perla used to make, which was just lettuce, cheese, salsa and lots and lots of delicious stringy pork in thick sauce. Fantastic! I went outside to take a couple pictures and the owner actually brought it out to me. Fresh warm chips in the bag, a red and a green sauce in little plastic cups, the burrito was hot and professionally wrapped tightly in foil and was fat and heavy. I was so ready. I quickly torn off the top of the foil and had at it. It was...just alright. I was probably expecting way to much, but it was just kinda like every other regular burrito, nothing special. I really like the people working there and I will go back, but the magic just wasnt there.

A lovely family restaurant. The al pastor super burrito is one of the best Ive had. So many flavors! And their hot sauce has a great kick. I will be back!

In a working-class neighborhood of Richmond, Lidias stands out as a real gem of authenticity. We could have been in the heart of Patzcuaro - the food was fresh, delicious, and carefully prepared. I had a chicken burrito and my brother had a bacon burger - we both ordered aguas frescas, which contained real fruit. Lidias covers many bases, with a menu thats straightforward and very appealing. Well be back!

Excellent super burrito, distinct flavors of all ingredients. The steak was especially well seasoned, really enjoyed it. Only thing that Id like more of was salsa choice, I love pouring different salsas on my burrito as I go bite by bite.
This place is amazing, everything we ordered was yummy.We came back to this place because I wanted to try their pozole. The pozole was delicious (only on weekends). My husband had the birria torta which the meat was tender and delicious. We definitely are going to come back even though we have to drive 30 minutes to get there. The food is worth it. My favorite Mexican restaurant so far. Also, their horchata drink is the best. 👍👍👍😋
We are from out of town, from Los Angeles. We were looking for a place to grab something to eat. There menu has a big selection of different foods from pastas, burgers to sandwiches and tacos and burritos. At first I was oh no . I ate the Mexican torta with 2 asada tacos. I was not disappointed they were very delicious. I highly recommend this place and they have a real friendly staff. Thank you
Lidia can get ALL my money! We are never disappointed going this family restaurant. The service and hospitality hasnt shifted at all with the new restrictions. My family and I will continue getting our Shrimp Burritos and Crispy Chicken Tacos for as long as we can.

That particular spot hasnt been used for a long time and used to have it another restaurant there that have very good food so I seen the flags on the outside of the building and I thought Id stop by and check it out and I got a chicken fajita it was very good the place look clean
Excellent food and friendly staff. Chicken tortilla soup was really fresh and delicious. Right across the street from the Richmond Museum so a nice place to eat if you are visiting the museum.

Great Tacos made with handmade tortillas, service was fast and friendly.I tried pastor and Carnitas, the carnitas tacos were one of the best I have tried in Richmond.Definitely will come back on Sunday to try Menudo with handmade tortillas.

It’s our first time at Lidia’s restaurant. We tried Lidia’s torta and thought it is delicious and the cheese melt in your mouth. The fries that comes with the torta was excellent.

2022-11-16 15:34:36Their shrimp taco salad and burrito was great. Fresh veggies, succulent shrimp, in a crispy shell with some fresh tamarind juice 🙌🏽, yum! It is a nice size restaurant with great customer service that maybe offering live music soon. This is a place you’ll want to keep an eye on.

I wasnt disappointment. My chicken tacos with homemade tortillas were really good, and their green salsa was the icing on the cake. Staff was friendly and inviting. Definitely recommend!
