The food here is always delicious and the staff is friendly. Try to order ahead as they get quite busy around dinner time! Be sure to leave a big tip as well, as they always make everything fresh!
So disappointed!! This restaurant is being misrepresented under the original owners name. The new owners have defiled the quality and excellence the Lee family created and presented for many years.The food is absolutely tasteless, example, the chicken cashew in red sauce was an abomination of chunks of rubbery thigh meat with cashews in a watery tasteless pink liquid. The fried rice ...white steamed rice with a lot of watered downed so called soy sauce, no vegetables, no shredded egg. What a waste of time, money and effort! My recommendation, go to Panda Express who at this point is 10x better than the mess we got today.
This is the absolute best Chinese food. Period. I grew up in San Diego and we had this often. I moved to Missouri and nothing compares. I am currently visiting after being away 14 years and this is still the best Chinese food Ive ever tasted. Theybhave been there for 30 years... The staff is friendly. I will be back one more time before I leave back to. Missouri! This place is a must visit!
Totally addicted to their War Wonton Soup! The rest of the menu is good too, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Have them on speed dial so I can pick up orders for dinner on the way home. One star lower though as the decor is a bit dated.
This place has been around since I was in high school in the early 90s. The prices have gone up slightly since then, not much at all. Food is ALWAYS good and the customer service is always great. My husband and I eat here about 3 times a month.
I just went to Linlee’s Chinese for the first time and the food is not good.. I got sweet and sour pork and the pork is over cooked and the sweet and sour sauce taste like watered sauce. The customer service is good though.
The service is great but the food taste yucky to me. I got the kung poa, which had no spice and the peanuts were burnt. I asked them to make it spicy, but after sending it back twice, I decided to just take it home and throw it away. Honestly, the waitress was wonderful, but the chef? No...
Discovered this place 30 years ago after we lost George Joes to a fire. We love the bbq pork foo young and their hot & sour soup. Their luncheon menu is wonderful and reasonable. Have not had a bad meal yet and the service is always great.
Been there many times, food and service are always great! I like it spicy, and they’ll make it as hot as you can stand. Always have to ask for more napkins to wipe the perspiration from my head.

One of the best Chinese restaurants i known. But if you want to place an order, you need to plan....the place its very beasy. About 45 min to get your food! Which is a good thing....that means the food is good!

I was not happy with Linlee’s 6 month’s ago but it was probably me,I had a cold. But have gone back three times in past 2 months and the food was good,service was great. I’ll keep coming back.
Service was great, Ive eaten at Linlees off and on for over 25 years the moo shoo pork was good Mongolian beef was good but the rice had very little flavor and the bbq pork was stuff so thats why 4 stars
Absolutely terrible staff, my wife ordered here not realizing it was 30 minutes away and I had her at least call back to cancel the order. She gets a call back from a lady telling at her. On top of that her co worker said not to call back. Im pretty sure its illegal to do that, some where near the harassment line. I apologize to the guy I talked to I know you tried but you were the one who picked up.
Best Chinese in all of Spring Valley / Lemon Grove! Been going here since I was a kid. Exceptionally friendly staff and quiet atmosphere. Try the hot and sour soup and the house fried rice!
Good restaurant with friendly staff. I like the lunch special since you get soup, spring roll, potsticker, and a plate with rice. It’s not the fanciest place but okay for a meal out.

I work nearby and I came down here to grab lunch, and I am so happy that they have earned themselves a new regular. The food is delicious, and for the amount you get it’s more than satisfactory. So far I have tried the cream cheese wontons, and the sweet and sour shrimp. Most places give you much smaller portions for expensive protein like shrimp, yet my box was overflowing with them!!! Everything was packed away neatly, and with care. The service was wonderful and I even watched one of their employees help some women out with their larger order, and got the door for them. Its that kind of courtesy and patience that drives loyal customers to a business like this. I also want to say, the ambiance inside is gorgeous, and though they don’t do dine-in at the moment, i’m very excited for the day we can come and sit down. It’s so beautiful in there, and it reminds me of when I was growing up on my birthdays going to chinese restaurants. I will be coming back for more, and please give them a shot. We need to keep supporting authentic small businesses like these, instead of giant chain corporations. They hooked it up with the almond cookies too ❤️❤️❤️

2023-07-19 04:28:32The place has a very dirty carpet. The seats and tables are sticky. The place is outdated and smells weird. We sat down, ordered drinks, then started seeing everything. We paid for our drinks (didnt drink them) and left. Its been a while...but we never went back.

2020-12-19 01:09:36The food was ok. I probably would have liked it more if they included all the condiments (i.e chili oil, sarichi hot sauce). My favorite dish has to be the salt and pepper wings! They were on point. I would go back just for that!! But the other items are ok, not bad but not great. I didnt like the pork dish that was recommended. Price wise, ok IF the dishes were a bit more tasty. This was my first time here so maybe it was an off day. If you stop by, get the wings!!

I no longer live in California, but when I do come to visit, I make it a point to come and have at least one meal here.If Im ever in town for my birthday, I have it here! Incredibly nice staff, and great classic Chinese food.Thank you guys for so many years of delicious meals! I hope to eat there again soon when I come to visit!
