After spending the morning at Frankinstylers Trodonardo Repository aligning the Ragginstaller Pallbackers back to 2 degrees before top dead center I was hungry. Well, I dont get into this part of Richmond that often, so I asked Glarehaven Wickstitter, the teller there, wheres a good place to eat. The little worm told me to go to the am/pm gas station for a microwave burrito and a fruit punch slushie. So, I told him of his poorly made toupee wasnt hiding his bald head in the back anymore, and told him thanks. I was on my own, and lucky found Little Louies Cafe, what a great place, my sandwich was amazing! 5 stars all day long!☆☆☆☆☆

Fantastic BLT that doesnt skimp on the tomatoes that sandwich the crisp bacon in the middle. Not too much mayo but enough! I get it on sliced sourdough and am sated every time.Friendly neighborhood service from staff and owners alike.

Love, love, love this place for breakfast. My husband and I get the French Toast (usually, to go) from here every Sunday. Its THE BEST French Toast we have had compared to every other place we have tried--It is made out of challah and comes with fresh strawberries and a few blueberries on top. Delicious! The corned beef hash is fabulous, too. Were confident that every thing else on the menu is probably great, too, but we keep ordering these two items because we love them so much.

I just watched every employee to see if they were wearing gloves or washing their hands after dealing with money and taking orders. None of them did. On top of that they touch your food with bare hands and go straight from taking orders to touching the ingredients. Keep in mind while I was watching, it was while one of the employees was preparing a cold sandwich. He took someone’s order, wrote it down then went back to arranging the sandwich and putting it on the plate WITH HIS BARE HANDS.

Very nice comfortable brunch spot. I tried their turkey burger and slaw. The slaw was very spicy but the burger was perfect.You have to order your food at the front and they bring it out to you. There’s a very nice seating area in the back as well as seating inside and a table out front.

A friend told me about this place. You order in front and get a ticket then you pay and they bring your food to you. It was pretty busy for a Friday but was told it get busier. Wasnt a good place to take a noisy baby. A customer asked if my child could stop banging on the table since he couldnt hear his friend talking. Lol. He was really nice about it so I was nice back and pulled my little one away from the table. The staff is super friendly and their customer service is awesome. Food was good. Chili tasted way better than it looked. I would go back. Want to try their spicy tuna sandwich.

Great place for breakfast! The food is good and tasty! There’s only one bathroom but it has all you need. The orange juice is super fresh, and the coffee delicious! We sat outside and it was very nice ambient. The music is also good, perfect volume and playlist for a chill and enjoyable breakfast. Don’t miss this place!

Update: I remembered to take a picture of the French Toast this time! Also, service is a little slow once you’re seated, so don’t be shy to flag a server.__________Absolutely love this place for breakfast. Would have taken a picture but I always wolf it down before I remember. Anyway, try the famous French toast, the pancakes, and basically any of the omelettes.

We went out this morning for breakfast and we picked this place cause in the past it was pretty good, however this was not the case today. Love this place. They have gluten free bread and sometimes gluten free soups but double check with the soups about exactly whats in them sometimes they say it is but it has noodles haha so not always accurate. I come here whenever Im in point richmond. Im not sure how long theyve been around but a while. Its the best.

This is our go to weekend breakfast choice. According to my kids, the food is great, it smells good, and everyone working there is very kind. I agree with their assessment. Our favorites are the French toast, breakfast sandwiches (eggs over easy, crispy bacon), huevos rancheros, and corned beef hash.

I completely forgot to give these people a rating. No wonder, it was awful.I sent back the eggs Benedict because the eggs were boiled hard. It came back with a soft muffin, egg was barely poached and runny, potatoes were cold, it was just awful. Ive tried them several times, I keep giving them another chance but this was it. How do you mess up an English muffin? This was my breakfast, my wifes was worst...we spent $45+ tip and they couldnt even toast a muffin correctly🙄

Located in the quaint town of Point Richmond OMG!!! Best Chicken Salad sandwich I have ever placed my teeth and lips on! I have taken friends and family there many times! This sandwich is worth every single dollar! Before buying and eating at Little Louies I would have frowned at the thought of eating chicken with pickles and onions and sourdough bread slices! But, I loved the thick chicken salad sandwich with everything on it immediately! You could eat one half of this large sandwich for lunch and the other half for dinner! Indoor or outdoor seating is available, as well as outdoor parking right in front of this restaurant! Pastry, soft drinks, salads in variety! They close at 2pm

We there for lunch with my family (6 people). We ordered and half the food came 30 minutes later and most of other half came 15 minutes after that. They forgot part of it and we had to get it to go.My tuna melt was soggy and lukewarm. the grilled cheese was, basic. Every dish was just, not good. I think it was close to $100. I felt ripped off.Seriously, just get a burger at jack in the box.

Ordered several sandwiches and salads for a work event. Called in the order and it was ready for pick up. The portions were hardy, the food was fresh, and ready when we got there. There is an assortment of dessert items to choose from. It gets busy at lunchtime! There is a nice patio out back for sunny lunches. Great service and great breakfast food. I love it that they are spot on with serving everything hot.

We stopped in just to look and the menu, and we were sold on the menu and service. Everybody was engaged with making our experience quick, efficient and comfortable. I had the Fast Eddie sandwich and really could have shared it with another, I took half of it home. My spouse had a wrap and we shared a lemon bar. The smells were incredible, tables move fairly quickly and even the other customers helped so the three of us could sit together. We went back for more lemon bars to take home. IT was our first visit, next time Im in the area, this will be a stop.

This is not MacDonalds. Three of us went there for lunch. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and a cheeseburger. After waiting for about 35 minutes the server comes out with 3 sandwiches that belonged to someone else. Soon after, the server came out to ask what was our order and goes back to the kitchen. Approximately 5 minutes later he came back with two sandwiches. The three of us continued talking while we waited for the cheeseburger so we could have lunch together. As the waiter went by, we called him and ask him about the cheeseburger. He replied I am just the server... that is not my department. He goes back into the kitchen and a minute later the lady at the grill said out loud, This is not MacDonalds. Go to MacDonalds. After an extensive conversation with the manager, we departed the place without finishing our lunch. This has to be one, if not the, most outrageous comments from someone serving their customers. From the time we order until the cheeseburger came out it was about 45 to 50 minutes. You are right... this is not MacDonalds but your customer service is worse than MacDonalds. Goodbye Little Louies.

Had lunch today, after having long wished for a good cheeseburger. Should have gone somewhere else. Ordered a rare burger, disappointed they don’t make French fries, so instead of tater tots we got their onion rings. Never have I ever had a cook try to publicly embarrass me until today. I came in today wanting a cheeseburger where it took over an hour to come. I asked the waiter why, only to receive an aggressive “that’s not my department” before storming off. I then go up to ask them myself to then have the cook yell at me “this is not McDonald” As I head back to my table I hear them still yelling that again for the whole restaurant to hear. The last straw was them trying to run us out with a “go to McDonald’s”. I’ve worked in the service industry for years and trust me nothing I did could’ve provoked such a response. After more than 16 years, I will never come back here.

For my first time being here its ok.. my point system is easy 2stars for kitchen 2stars for customer service and the last star if they went beyond. Well the kitchen did a good job. The test was over medium eggs. They got it right. French toast were a little under cooked but edible. They got the 2stars. Now customer service: these ladies need h help. I told one that it was my first time and all she did was hand me the menu. Smiles were limited if any. They all happy with regulars and each other.. but guess what, regulars are made by first impressions. They need training. If your week isnt going well, the price here will scare you away. But the love that was put into my turkey n jalapeño sandwich makes me feel good. The bread is a little tough for the average American used to white bread. This shop makes sandwiches that belong in magazines. The place smells good as you enter the old doors. A little packed sometimes but I found a spot today to eat and have a beer with my boss and an old friend of his, we stayed for a good 2 hours. The atmosphere is amazing, a little loud but that makes it exciting. Staff deserve a thousand tips today because Im too poor to give a good one.

These people make great sandwiches and salads. The salads are large enough to make two meals, which I have done. The sandwiches are equally large and delicious, Ive tried the turbo tuna, bbq tri-tip and french dip. The french dip was excellent and they give you plenty of au jus. The turbo tuna is fully loaded and not your typical tuna sandwich. The tri-tip was good, but a little on the tough side, which is typical of tri-tip, perhaps longer low temp cooking and/or cutting on a bias across the grain would help.

I am saddened that what has been a joyful destination has hit the skids. Staff fowled up our 3 sandwitch lunch then became combative and disrespectful. Will not return. server came twice asking what our order was, then brought out the first two seperately, the hamberger i saw sitting on work table, I asked for them to deliver. The food and the staff are amazing!!!! The breakfast Mmmmm... the sandwiches... Mmmmm. A must stop for breakfast and lunch! And... believe it or not, their coffee is better than Starbucks! I would insist that anyone traveling through or living in Point Richmond experience this place. My companys HQ is in town and every time I travel here for work, Little Louies is a part of my routine, whether it be for breakfast and/or lunch. They even have a very nice wind bar if youre in the mood for some vino! I cant imagine why anyone might give less than 5 stars for this place!

This business has been one of my main go to for both business and personal use. I have live in the Point for 20 years and Little Louies always delivered good quality on an upscale basis. Since the prior owner sold the establishment (Raquel) the qualify of the product, the standard and customer service has deteriorated the new ownership needs to go back to handling a lower end coffee shop like they did in San Francisco. They do not have a clue on how to deliver customer service in a higher end deli.I have had business meeting there, have had them catered my lunches, breakfast and bought with pride many of my business clients from out of the area to the wine bar as well, It was not unusual for me to have spent several hundred dollars on each visit. I will spend that money elsewhere. Please let me know if you have had the same disappointments under this inept new ownership.MP

Edited2/10/22 this place needs to invest in better to go coffee cups, the lid doesnt seal that well especially when it heats up. Just had to toss the whole cup after it spilled on my shirt 😬.Granted thanks to #starbunks its common place to charge over $2.50 for a $1.50 cup of coffee but for crying out loud to pay that much for coffee thats luke warm? I would of probably waited even though proper monitoring of the carafe would keep this from happening but to offer me watered down espresso when if I wanted watered down espresso I would of asked for it kind of sent me over the top. Hopefully Kaleidoscope reopens soon. Yeah the poor over gimmick is a bit excessive price wise but atleast hot coffee is hot.Anything but #starbunks

Back in 08 my cousin that lives in Point Richmond got married and we ate brunch here the day after the wedding, my wife and I actually ate here a couple of times/stayed at the hotel mac. have lived in san fran The food was insanely good, home made fresh french pastries, hand squeezed OJ, and the hash corned beef were amazing. They also had good cookies and coffee. Would highly recommend to anybody, price might be a little on the high side for some, but you get what you pay for.

Terrible service. We sat down and had to wait 5 minutes before we even received a menu. Another 10 minutes and someone finally took our order.
