2023-10-15 22:48:12ABSOLUTELY YUM!! I got the Vietnamese noodles with seared tofu. Perfectly sauced, perfect portion, excellent tofu flavor and consistency. Will absolutely be coming back!

2022-05-29 04:46:17Great spot for a quick and tasty meal. Was a little confused by the entrance because it shares space with the brewery. Very surprised by how flavorful the food tasted. Highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich.

2023-08-03 20:48:21Sama is separate from the brewery but they use the same space. You order at the counter and wait for the server to bring your food. Cuisine is Viet-Thai-Japanese-American fusion. We had the tonkatsu sando with green papaya salad. The salad dressing was the most delicious sauce Id had on green papaya. I wanted to take it home. We ended up dipping our homemade shrimp chips in it. I wanted to try the desserts but we got too full of tasty beer. 😋

2022-05-26 07:03:32Ordered the fried chicken sandwich but didnt eat it. Probably would have been good but unfortunately it was soggy and covered in a fish sauce that completely overwhelmed the chicken. had a couple bites and left the rest. Would have been nice to have someone check back on the meal, but after dropping off the food they never came back to enquire about the experience.

2021-08-15 03:09:47This was such a spectacular place to eat! I had the Wagyu Cheese Burger. This this was so well put together. The burger was juicy and has so much umami. The toppings had a slight sweetness from the caramelized onions that helped balance out the richness of the patty. We had several other dishes that were just as yummy like the Okonomiyaki Tater Tots and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. The house sauces that they use for each dish really sets them apart from every other Asian Fusion restaurant. You wont go wrong selecting any dish. But, I was thoroughly blown away with the cheese burger and would 100% recommend! The experience was wonderful and the staff were very accommodating. Steven Du is the chef and he worked his magic with every dish. As long as he is at the helm in the Little Samas kitchen, I know Im going to get the best tasting food.

2021-08-22 22:18:38The food was pricey but okay. You order drinks separately from Topa Topa (great beer!) and then wander over to the Sama window to order your food and get it delivered to your table.I had finished a couple of tasters of beer by the time the food arrived. The person who took my order was friendly enough, though it felt more like a fast food transaction than a pricey Asian fusion order. The pulled pork sandwich was okay, nothing special, though they dressed it up to act fancy. I would have preferred more meat and less bread.** This is only for the food side, The beer and brewery is reviewed under Topa Topas own listing.

2023-05-11 00:38:28I had high hope, but food was terrible here…. Chicken karaage was overcooked to the point chicken was completely dry and hard to even chew. Brussel sprouts were totally over-cooked and tasted like eating ash. Very disappointing.Topa Topa had good beer, which offsets some of the disappointment

2022-03-21 05:56:10I will start by saying that I wish I could this little Ojai gem more than 5stars. I tried out Little Sama today for the first time and will definitely be going back for the Jasmine rice bowl with lemon grass beef. The food came out quick and the service was amazing! They clearly have a great team in that kitchen. Compliments to the chef.

2021-02-14 02:23:19Love this place! We always order the signature wings. They’re seriously the best we’ve ever had. Similar to the wings at Night + Market in LA, but better!! Perfectly fried and coated in the most flavorful, slightly spicy and tangy sauce. On our way to order more right now!
