Had dinner last week. Only bummer was I had to get up and get someone to take our order after sitting for a good ten minutes although someone did bring water but no one ever came to take our order. Interestingly the hostess who I asked about where was the wait staff Bri who was our hostess when we arrived became our waitress and took our order.Now to the good part. Food was excellent. Started with the crispy prawns ( Thai chilies etc.) and the chicken and shiitake dumplings. I had the fried sea bass and my wife had the shaky shaky beef. My wife ended with the key lime tart. I’m not a key lime fan but this was delicious. I also had glass of the Trocken Riesling which was also delicious.Pro-tip- crispy prawns could easily be a main dishI inquired about the salt and pepper lobster which I was told was actually two lobster tails and the market price was$82 or $88. Staff seems to continually rotate between hostess server drinks so they are all multitasking to help each other and help at tables.Another tip-there is a 3% surcharge on credit cards but no surcharge for debit cards.

Service was phenomenal! Immediately greeted at the door. Servers were helpful with dinner and drink selections. Atmosphere was a vibe. Food was delicious, fresh ingredients. Shaky shaky beef and spring rolls are a great choice combo. Flavors were amazing. Would definitely recommend this place.

A very good place to eat some Vietnamese food. I have gone to the one in DTLA but not since they closed down for covid. So decided to eat at this location. We went there on a Sunday, around 3 p.m. There was no wait time and sat down immediately. Started with some drinks, and 2 appetizers. The pork skweres (highly recommend), and the dumplings. Both a great way to start off. Then we went for shaky shaky beef, the Saigon lemongrass noodles, and the black rice. All the food had great flavors. Also happy hr starts at 3 and ends at 6.Do note that as always all these plates big enough, and meant to be shared.

Amazing service, festive atmosphere, reasonably priced for most things. The food was flavorful and cooked well. The eggplant dish was a bit salty and the crispy chicken a little try but otherwise top notch.

Great food. The service is just ok, they take long in bringing the food. The atmosphere is good a little small and the tables are close together, also the music sometimes is very loud. In addition the food is somewhat expensive. Other than that the food is always on point, pretty consistent with the flavors and textures.

Great atmosphere, food, and drinks. They bump 90’s hip hop which I thought was very cool and unique. Our favorite dishes were the dumplings and the pork belly, both unbelievable and I highly advise ordering them. Staff was friendly as well!

Absolutely loved this place. The waitresses were amazing and so friendly, it was even better if an experience because of them. Bathrooms were clean and the food was top notch. Highly recommend the braised short rib and bone marrow as well as all the appetizers.

Came in hungry for vietnamese but right away got this feeling from the look (american style), staff, and food on plates this wasnt gomna be good meal. I settled for a vietnamese coffee.My hunch was correct... my coffee to go was diluted with what I can guess was prob half-n-half. Nothing more than overpriced McDonalds coffee.

What an incredible restaurant! The food was so fresh and flavorful, everything we ordered blew us out of the water. Plentiful portions and great for sharing with friends. Not heavy or overdone and even the salads were satisfying. The papaya salad was the best dish we had! The drinks were also spectacular. It seems they were a bit understaffed but still managed to get food out in a timely manner and check on us frequently to clear plates and glasses. Dessert was also lovely even after the plentiful dinner portions! Will definitely be back! (reservations are a good idea especially for larger parties)

My first visit to the Los Angeles area and we happened to find this gem in Manhattan Beach!!! When I say absolutely wonderful, I mean it!!!! Everything was delicious and well prepared. And the flavors were out of this world….I can’t describe them because they are unique but fitting!!! It was our first time having Vietnamese cuisine and Little Sister did not disappoint. We didn’t even look at the menu to order we just order based on what other patrons were eating!!! I can’t rave about this place enough. Definitely a gem. If your in the area, you must try. It’s an amazing experience and atmosphere!

Southeast Asian fusion restaurant with focus on Vietnamese dishes. I’ve heard a lot of good things from coworkers, so I came here to try it with a friend on a Wednesday around 1pm. We were seated immediately. There’s indoor and outdoor dining available. You scan the menu via QR code and place your order with a server. The food came out quickly and all three of the dishes we got were good choices.The nem nuong spring rolls (3 to an order) were super crispy and came with a smattering of noodles, veggies, a sweet chili sauce, and peanuts. The pan-fried e-fu noodles were egg noodles were thinly sliced pork and a poached egg - it was mixed in a savory brown sauce. The fried chicken wings (8) were slightly spicy and came with crispy garlic on top. The latter two could be shared between 2-3 people. In total, the three dishes were good for us two with some leftovers for one person.

I like the intimacy of the Redondo Beach location a bit better, but this new location has a nice atmosphere and is spacious.

Authentic Vietnamese food isnt fancy. Little Sisters does an amazing job of elevating it.Made a dinner reservation and it took the restaurant around 15 minutes after the reservation time to seat us.We ordered Gio Cuon, Bo Tai Chanh (not raw by the way), House Triple Garlic Noodles, Shaky Shaky Beef, and Lamb Satay.The flavors were really explosive in all of the dishes. The Lamb Satay was maybe a little too explosive. I wouldnt order that dish again. I also wouldnt order the House Triple Garlic Noodles. I cant justify paying 20 bucks for noodles cooked in butter with no protein included.The Bo Tai Chanh was the perfect way to start our meal. Gio Cuon is essential when it comes to Vietnamese appetizers. The Shaky Shaky Beef or Bo Luc Lac was delicious. The beef was so tender and the sauce was perfect.If youre Vietnamese, the way the staff pronounce the name of the dishes will make you angry. However the food was amazing and my party had a flawless time dining at this restaurant. Parking is easy and there are many stores nearby you can visit as well before or after you dine at the restaurant.

I was quite surprised when my bill at Little Sister included an additional 3% fee for credit card payment, especially considering we had already spent around $50 per person for our dining experience. It unfortunately left a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste despite an overall enjoyable meal. While I understand that establishments like yours have various costs to consider, its important to recognize that accepting credit cards is an invitation for guests to pay in that manner. Penalizing them for using a payment method you accept but dont prefer strikes me as rather inhospitable. After all, guests are simply trying to exchange their dollars for your food, beverages, and hospitality.In my opinion, a more gracious policy would be to incorporate the expense of accepting credit cards into your menu prices, while offering discounts or other incentives for those who pay in cash, if feasible. By doing so, you would be rewarding rather than penalizing your guests. Instead of sending the message, Thanks for your money, but Ill charge you extra if you dont pay me the way I prefer, you could convey, Thanks for your money, and Ill even show my appreciation if you can accommodate my preferred payment method. This approach fosters goodwill and strengthens the relationship between your establishment and its patrons.

This is a beautiful place, and the hosts were friendly, but we ended up leaving due to limited menu options for vegetarians and the service. Its shocking that in 2023, restaurants still arent providing items for various dietary restrictions. My mother opted for the garlic noodles, but didnt want just noodles and asked if there were vegetables that could be added. We mustve been speaking alien, because the server kept saying, you can have a salad, but its cold. I point black said, she doesnt want a salad, can you put the carrots and onions you have in these other dishes and toss them with the noodles. He didnt even go to the kitchen to ask, he suggested...A SALAD. I dont know if he was being dense on purpose, or just didnt want to serve us, but either way we left. We went on to have a truly incredible experience at True Kitchen. Cant speak to the food, but based on the vietnamese coffee and service, I will not be back.

We went in with high expectations and a friend of ours spoke positively of the brunch, but the experience was an unfortunate combination of terrible service and subpar food. We were constantly waiting for our server while food came sporadically to get cold on the table. We waited about 20 minutes to get the check so we could leave and staff started clearing our table while we were waiting, needing us to help them clear the table all the while our server ignored us. The food was almost equally disappointing with almost everything being subpar. I would recommend for the price they charge to go anywhere else for much better food and likely better service.

Ive been to other locations like DTLA and Redondo Beach but DTLA was a frequent spot. I still think DTLA is the best but this one is pretty on point. Definitely better than Redondo Beach! Awesome that they have outdoor dining!! Clean and organized. Staff is cheerful and cares about our experience! How lovely to be helped by people who enjoy what they do!The food is consistent with their other locations. Just being outside, food gets cold quicker. Must eat quickly after it arrives! Got the shakey beef, egg noodles, autumn rolls. You could not go wrong with their menu selections but definitely must try shakey beef!! I always get this every time I go to any Little Sister restaurant. I would totally come back to this location! Its inside The Point where there are so many options to sit and hang after a meal. We had a terrible experience at Little Sisters in El Segundo. The service was extremely poor. We were left on a cold, windy patio on a Saturday night with only a menu and tableware. We were promised water service after being seated, but we sat for at least 20 min without one waiter coming by the table (there was only one other couple at a table on the entire patio, so its not like the staff was overwhelmed). We left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed by the subpar service shown during our first (and last) visit.

We were a group of 8, went for lunch. Food was great and quite large portion. I enjoyed their special coffee and chicken banh mi. One of our colleague accidentally spilled the coffee and the staff immediately helped us not just with napkins and towels but also replaced with a fresh coffee. Really good. The salmon crudo is prepared pretty well. Their pork dishes are so good. Some of the most tender pork I’ve ever had. The tom rang thit ba chi, which is pork and prawns, was our favorite. The crispy chicken was pretty dry, but tasty with the rest of the dish.

Would not come back. None of the dishes were memorable. Came in a party of 3, and ordered the shaky shaky beef, the chicken salad, and spring rolls. This restaurant does not have safe allergen protocols in place. A warning if you have a severe allergy - stay away.My daughter informed the waiter of her nut allergy, asked about dishes w/o nuts (menu ingredients are not complete) and ordered accordingly. The waiter even said ‘no nuts’ as he set the dish on the table. She proceeded to have a severe allergic reaction because the meal contained CRUSHED PEANUTS. She was in the ER for five hours, but thankfully is ok. I cannot overstate how serious this is - do not eat here.

I ordered Pho-Bo noodle soup at Little Sisters at The Point (El Segundo) today. The sliced beef in the soup was not fresh as I know half of the several slices of beef had the typical unappetizing smell which is usually associated with cooked beef stored in refrigerator too long before serving. It should be corrected for keeping the good reputation of the restaurant.

One star for not getting us sick, and another for the decor/ambiance. The food was not great though. One of our pork plates was heavily oversalted, and while nothing had the soul of what you would find at a whole-in-the-wall Vietnamese place, everything had gourmet restaurant prices. All other items were mediocre.We also had an item missing from one of our orders, which is fine. Mistakes happen! However, when we brought it up to the waiter, they brushed us off and never brought out the missing item. The service was generally bizarre. The host seemed like they had never worked at a restaurant before, or been trained.Seems like a sad case of a franchise expanding too quickly and sacrificing quality. Its a shame.

There’s no HALF Star available. This is how we will rate this restaurant in El Segundo at THe Point Our family went here for the first time today Labor Day 9/5/22. Worst experience. Our waiter took about 10 mins just to get the order for the appetizer. ANd after the appetizer, he didn’t come back for 25 mins. We tried to get the attention of the other waiter, and he said he will find our server. It took another 10-15 mins for him to showed up. At this time, we were really upset that we lost our appetite. Our waiter didn’t apologize. We just saw him walking around and not trying to get our order. THIs is BAd customer service. The other waiter knew we were upset already. Even the hostess knew we were upset. There’s is no Second First impression. No service recovery . We will never go back there

Food was great but the service is terrible. My friend had to wait for her food 20 mins after I had already received my food. She had to ask the waitress where it was. Then she asked for hot sauce and didnt get it until after she was 90% done w/her food. And they took another 20 mins to pick up our credit cards so we could pay and give her a to go cup she asked for when they brought the check. We drove cross country and arrived in LA hungry. Decided on Little sister saw it was open till 10 drove there to be told the kitchen is closed. I mentioned that the web site said 10 and its 9:05 and his answer was we r changing that in an aggressive curt manner. He then proceeded to walk at us in a very aggressive manner as if he was getting physical. This guy should work in a correction facility not in the hospitality industry. What a horrible experience. We went to the Tin Roof Bistro nearby spent $150 on wine and food and were treated well.

It’s not exactly Vietnamese food and it’s not exactly fusion…it’s just confusing. The pho broth tasted like boiled water with chicken bouillon and nuoc mam. Goi cuon was decent, but the peanut sauce was really watery and the added coconut was too overpowering and confusing. Cafe sua da was watered down, tasted like creamer and ice with a dash of coffee.

Great, polite service first and foremost - Gabriela was A++Food was incredible - the rice dish with shrimp and pork ribs was one of the best things I’ve tasted this year. Shakey beef and dumplings rounded it out.
