This place serves really good food. I ordered from here all the time before I moved. I loved getting the lunch deals cause it’s more bang for your buck. Staff is nice and hardly any wait time for food is great. Have to say tho the restaurants pretty empty most of the time cause it’s like a hole in the wall place. Check it out though you might think differently.

Found this place as I was driving by. WoW! The food here is excellent. The service was excellent. I love steaming hot food and it was just that. The flavors were on point and the suggestions made by the hostess were most appreciated. I hope you have the same experience I’ve had here. ENJOY!

Food was delicious and service was great. Small hole in the wall type of restaurant but the food tastes great. Very classic Thai. The waiter was awesome and made the experience that much better. Can’t wait to go back when I’m in the area!

Stopped in around 4:30 pm on a Wednesday afternoon. No one was dining in so I decided to. I ordered the fried spring rolls with chicken and plum sauce and Thai fried rice with beef. Both were delious! Lunch came to $19.50. The dining area was clean and my waitress was pleasant.Nice quiet place for a relaxing lunch and good, hot, fresh food. Will be coming back soon.

Service was friendly and quick. Sadly the food didnt taste authentic. The Tom kha soup broth tasted slightly like Italian soup. The pad Thai had the same flavor, pork was dry and hard. You will be disappointed. Never going back.

The good: prices were good they have lunch specials. Bill was 38 dollars for shrimp fried rice, yellow curry, cream cheese wonton and Tom Yom shrimp soup. Great choice for noon 1st date.The bad: Tom Yom shrimp soup had one shrimp and lots of mushrooms.The ugly: bathrooms

Cannot go wrong with any dish you order here. One of my new favorites for sure. Weve only gotten take-out, never eaten in. But the employees are polite and accommodating. You must give this place a try!

Nice clean place. The food was good and fresh tasting. The duck was a bit fatty but complimented curry. I did not think their spicy was all that spicy. I enjoyed the warm peanut sauce with the fairly solid spring roll. Service was attentive but admittedly I was the only customer eating in; waiter kept my soda full.

Ordered takeout from here and although we had a small snafu and had wait a while for new rice, the service was great. The staff let me hangout inside and provided status updates regularly. The interior is a bit plain and given it was heavily raining for San Diego it was empty. But several pick up orders came in while I waited and they all were in and out very quickly.Overall, the food itself was good. We ordered pad see ew, Tom kha soup, panang curry, chicken satay, Spring rolls, cream cheese wontons, sticky rice with coconut ice cream, and friend bananas.Most of the items were above average, with a few notes about the Tom kha and panang - these were just a little different to us. The Tom kha was sweeter and less coconut flavored than we expected and the panang curry was less creamy and felt more like a red curry than panang to us. They were still good, just difference from expectations.

Happy there is good Thai food in the area. Food is excellent and decent portions for pricing. Ive enjoyed the lunch specials, many to choose from which is nice. Spice levels are on point, dont forget to specify if you want it hotter. Im a 7 on the heat scale. Staff very friendly. Definitely will keep coming back. Highly recommend.

Welcoming staff, food always comes out fast. I’ve dined in and gotten take out and it’s never disappointed. Food tastes great, my favorite is the Pad Woon Sen with chicken, it’s not spicy and is a great size for one person.

Very authentic Thai food. First Thai place Ive found in San Diego thats even offers duck dishes. Clean restuarant, friendly service, and overall really nice dine-in experience for a great price!! Love this place and will be revisiting.

Dined in at this somewhat new Thai restaurant and was very happy with everything. The decor inside was nice, the staff were friendly, the menu had lots of options and everything was relatively reasonably priced. I ordered Massaman curry with chicken, spice level 7. It was delicious, a perfect balance of heat and flavor. I also tried their iced Thai tea with boba, which was pretty good. Mango sticky rice was divine. Very filling. I will dine here again. Great addition to the community!

Four for $6.95 & Pad Thai Noodles $11.95+$1.00 for shrimp.I can tell you this, the Noodles were just as good cold, as they were hot! They too, are very generous with their portions.2 1/2 servings for me! I ordered & paid online. It was all very quick & simple. I Came. I Saw. I Ate.TLDR: Worth a try for Thai food lovers and the curious out there, but nothing that outdoes all other thai food--------Just opened today and i must say i hope they are here to stay. Was better than most Thai around here and the specials are a reasonable price. Hopefully they can keep this impetus of fair quality at a reasonable price while having a modest but presentable dining area. Staff are nice and are eager to express appreciation for your patronage, and restrooms were clean albeit a little rank. I think thats the fault of the plumbing. Now on to the food review...Thai food is known for its spicy, sweet, and savory flavors and it delivers on all aspects, though Spice Lords may not find a challenge here. Also, something to know is that if your thai food tastes a little bit different its not because oh, they dont make it right here!; Thai food is incredibly diverse within its own genre and theres many ways to play off the base ingredients. If you dont like the taste despite it being made well, though not how you normally like it, then just get it somewhere else! Its that simple. Sampling the most well known entrees via lunch special- Shrimp Pad Thai, Shrimp Tom Yum, Chicken Tom Kha, and Red Curry -I can say this about their flavor: All were very good for the price, though i was mildly disappointed with the viscosity of the curry. I blame it on the container for not letting it breathe and become the more or less sauce-like consistency Ive frequently had. It was more like a soup, but again thats mostly up to preference, and the flavor was good! Also, the pork meat in the curry was was nothing to write home about. It basically did its job and thats it, but youre also not paying the prices for extravagant cuts of pork. Another thing for those who do appreciate authentic garnishes. There was no fish sauce, crushed or powdered peanuts, or chili oil to put atop my Pad Thai. No question from the staff if I wanted them included either. It doesnt lose them any credit on the score, but those do a lot for customers who enjoy those garnishes. Its understandable that these requests may be out there for the average American customer, and therefore not readily included or mentioned. Last, but not least- the Thai Tea was good, but nothing outstanding from other places.In conclusion: quite good; hope it only gets better from here, and hope it sticks around. Spring Valley NEEDS places like this and other cultured restaurants to get it out of the hick in the stick, Emerald Ghetto border town of San Diego label. Thai Kitchen, youre fighting an uphill battle my friend. Hope you succeed.
