L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in La Verne

Katsu crust was crusty hard like it was pre cooked sometime earlier and microwaved, OR it was left in fryer wayyy to long. Disappointed wont get it again

I have been at this Hawaiian Barbecue, once, and it was in September of 2022. The meal, that I have ordered, was delicious, and well-made. The wait line, to order meals, was not long. In addition, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy the meal. The staff, that worked during that shift, were helpful and friendly. Definitely, if anyone is in the area of La Verne, I would recommend to stop by this establishment. The prices, too, are worth it.

Location:Good, Parking : Good, Service:good, price for food received : Good, Overall: I have been coming here for quite a while and the best part is the meals never seems to change. A good amount for the price and to get it in a decent amount of time is always a plus. Will continue to stop here and enjoy.

Pretty decent Hawaiian BBQ place. We only do carry out so I cant really talk about the atmosphere. But food is ok.

I ordered the loco moco the gravy had no flavor. I was not satisfied with my plate. I also ordered the veggie egg rolls they also had no flavor and did not look fresh. The egg rolls were soggy.

When I entered there were two people seated and no one in line. This was on Saturday, October 28. The time was 2:02pm.The cashier was 1. She chose to wipe down trays rather than take my order. This was rude. The address is 2400 Foothill, La Verne, Ca. I hope there’s a different cashier the next time I go.

I ordered the bbq chicken Breast and wasn’t able to eat due to being over cooked and rubbery never again seems like they just can’t cook a perfect chicken breast giving them a second chance and still disappointment today also had bad customer service experience I asked for a Katsu sauce and the girl at the register kept saying No because I got bbq I even insisted to pay for the sauce and gave me attitude this place needs to train their unprofessional employees some customer service

Great poke bowls, everything was cooked to order. Chicken Katsu bowl is a favorite of mine as well. Flavor is definitely there. Alot of places to eat on foothill but this one is a hidden gem.

Poke! Done to perfection! Most of us Americans are used to the new wave poke creations but the traditional way is the way to go!This establishment was welcoming and fast.Next time I will try their garlic shrimp!

Food is delicious portions are excellent 👍 but costumer service needs more training no smiles or commutation on the personal phone and joking with the cooks.....
