We did a huge catering order here for a corporate event for 200 people. They were fast and efficient. Had our order ready on time and were able to take our order days in advance and have it ready for us. Called me on the day of to check in! Great place for catering large events. All food was delicious!!

This was my first time visiting L&L and I would say it was ok, but not great. I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Beef and my girlfriend ordered the chicken fried rice.The beef had decent flavor, but it was so fatty and full of gristle that a bunch of it wasnt even edible. Maybe thats how its supposed to be, but Ive been to other Hawaiian BBQ places that had fairly lean beef.The fried rice was good, but also really greasy. I get it...its fried so its bound to be a bit greasy, but this was much more so than expected.The place was pretty clean and the service was fine.Overall, I believe its the only Hawaiian place in Vacaville so itll do in a pinch, but my opinion is there are definitely better options available.

Definitely coming back! Very quick service and very polite. My friend and I arrived and they had to take a quick call before they even picked it up they asked politely for a moment as we were still deciding what we wanted. Love this place already.

Charges 4.5% card fee but you don’t find out until you get your receipt. Solicits tips in both forms of tip jar and suggested tips on the receipt although they don’t actually start making your call-in order until you get there and pay. 😼. Expect to wait another 15 minutes after what you’re told on the phone.

If the food wasn’t so good, I wouldn’t eat there just because of the service alone. The guy who takes the orders and money is obnoxiously rude. He’s clearly overwhelmed especially when you see patrons waiting long periods of time for their food that sat on the counter.

The food is pretty good but the service and attitude is ridiculous. I had a to-go order with 1 entree and 2 musubi, when I asked for 1 extra teriyaki and Siracha sauce he said it would be $0.50 each. I had just watched him give the man before me an extra sauce for free when asked 5 minutes before, when I mentioned I just watched him give extra to the guy before me he had an attitude and said ‘I don’t know what to tell you, it’s an extra $0.50 each.’ Won’t be back, they don’t charge more for sauce at the L & L in Fairfield and they’re much nicer and faster service.

There was also a catering order that was being prepared while I was waiting for my order. The workers managed to get it out pretty quick. Would I go back here when in the area? Yeah. I would.

Food was excellent, portions were very fair compared to cost. We ordered Katsu, Kalua pork, spam masubi, and chicken fried rice and were not disappointed with any of it and took home leftovers of all the large dishes. Would definitely revisit. Only reason for one star markdown was the inside of the restaurant smelled like product from the nail salon 2 doors down. We chose to sit outside and it was fine.

I did the take out & wasnt sure what I should order. However I thought everything I ordered was delicious.I tried their Fried rice, without any meat, loved it! Their grilled chicken & mostly, I dont care for chicken, but I loved, loved it! Also their beef thin ribs, I also loved them. Macaroni salad & even their white rice, all taste.So glad I tried it! This is one of the best places to get Hawaiian diner food. I love the food, but the cleaning and maintenance seems low on managements priority list. I am hesitant to make these comments because I fear the workers, who are already working as fast as they can, will be blamed. The Vacaville store is looking shabby.

I love coming here. Staff are always nice and friendly. Food is always yummy. Just dont come if youre in a rush because they cook fresh, so it does take a few minutes to get your order. Completely worth the wait though.

I am not happy I called in my order at 345. I was told it was going to be ready in 10 mins. I got there about 15 minutes later. I wasnt given my food until 425. People who came after me were getting their food before me. It was no point in calling in. They dont Eben make your food until you get there I guess. They need to fix their wait times. Ridiculous!

This place was filthy and run down. The menu boards are so faded they are barley visible. And the beverages tasted like the ice was made rotten stagnant water. The food wasnt horrible, and the portions were fairly generous....but I was to concerned about The environment that it was cooked in to enjoy my meal. I will not be patronizing this restaurant again.

Other guy was terrible at customer service, barely acknowledged us and then refused to give us 1 sauce that we requested. At lease charge me for it, if it’s such an issue rather than refusing to give it to me. Very disappointed, and then the food wasn’t ever great as the other L&L I’ve gone to. Will not return...

Great food, great people. I get the atkins plate on a regular basis. The cashier is always the same 20-something. Hes always extremely polite and friendly. Service is fast if you arent a moron going there on lunch rush. Definitely recommend it to all my friends.

I went to the one in Sacramento for my first time and just loved it. Their food is so good and service was amazing. But now we have one here in Vacaville closer to me.. I was so happy and excited to go. So i went with my sister and we got the same thing and OMG it was so good... I love Hawaiian BBQ food and i was in heaven at that moment.. I recommend this place if you love Hawaiian food like i do.. Their service is great and the worker are very nice..

Beware. This l&ls food is good, but the service this year is terrible. The bad service will get you eventually. My wife called our order in an hour in advance. I went inside to pick it up, I paid, and 30 minutes later I begin seeing others who walked in before me get their food. I called in way before any of us walked in, so how can this be? 1 of 2 things hapened. They gave our food to somebody else or forgot to push our order through. Mistakes happen, but they didnt even prioritize our order considering their mistake and they queued us to back of the line. That was my final straw. I wasnt waiting another 30 mins. I walked out and charged back the purchase. Just so you know, this wasnt our first bad experience. Its just the one that pushed me over the edge. Eat at your own discretion.

We usually get kalua pork with extra macaroni salad and sometimes fried shrimp from L&L. At this location there was only 3 measly pieces of pork inside of the banana leaves, 1 of them was just pure chunk of fat. The macaroni salad wasnt the right one, I think the proportions of ingredients were off and it was smaller cup than from other locations.. Shrimp tasted like rubber and was very dry.

Delicious! I get the garlic mahi every time I go there, its absurdly good. They are always consistent with the quality and willing to substitute steamed veggies for the macaroni salad side. Their steamed veggies are terrific, not the gross overcooked bland stuff youd get elsewhere. Theyre perfectly al dente and wonderful. The spam musubi is fantastic, and Im not even a spam fan! Its a nice change of pace from regular over processed poorly prepared fast food. Good prices too! Fast service.
