Place recently opened after being closed for pandemic and it is a family staple of ours. Great food, quick service and tasty food. We usually order less sodium and they will whip it up to suit your taste. Recommend the lobster of course, and I love the kung pao chicken too!
Whenever I crave lobster 🦞, this is my go to spot. All other items on the menu are just as tasty! 😊

First and last time coming!The lady in the front she’s cleaning tables with dirty gloves and then she goes and gets your utensils and food with the same dirty gloves. She’s also grabbing money and making drinks. The food is not that great.

I am writing this review after several visit, and each visit has always meet my expectations.The food is very tasty, and consistent. Ive ordered the House Filet Mignon several times, and every time the steak is flavorful, and melts in your mouth . The staff is always friendly (even under high pressure). Ive enjoyed this place enough that I have introduced family and friends, and this place has quickly become all of our favorites.If take portion into consideration, the portion sizes are generous. Ive even ordered take out over the phone, and the take out portions are no different.My only feedback is that the space can get crowded, and wait times to be seated can be long at times. However, it is understandable with the fantastic food they are serving.To the staff, you guys are all amazing. My interactions with everyone there has been pleasant, and I thank you for that!
This place was recommended by a friend but unfortunately to me I’m gonna have to tell him it’s a bust. I ordered to go and that started out with a bad start. The lady up front has a real attitude. Picking up the dish was even worst. Guess it can’t be authentic without the attitude with these establishments some would say. But Boston lobster (in San Gabriel) has one of the best services. 🤷🏻.So with that said do not go here if you want any type of service and do not ever ever ask for water if you get what I mean.As for the lobster dish. It probably would have tasted a way lot better if I didn’t have a sour taste from the service. The noodles I do prefer yee mein instead of their chow mein they use.Price is comparable with the other restaurants.So, I will end by saying my first and last time visiting this shop. Many more others in SGV with with better service and in fact better tasting.
Awesome food. I had the scallops with fried garlic, 🏠 special fried 🍚, and one of their lobster entrees. All of the food was very well prepared, the server was very attentive but always in a rush but thats normal. Their only downside was the dirty restroom and they gave my wife a dirty plate to eat with 😬. I can ignore the plate because they easily replaced it, but the bathroom needs attention. The food is awesome though and so is the service but no one is perfect, other restaurants you just dont see their dirty side they hide it better 👍 All that being said I will be going back for sure the food is 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🍽️🍽️😊
5 stars because the food was tasty and that’s what I care about but the cashier was not good. I understand she was busy and there was a lot to do but she’d ask for our order then run away to answer phone every time we said one word. The manager was nice tho so she made up for her. 🤷🏻♀️
The best kept secret in San Gabriel Valley. Prices are fantastic. Mounds of Shrimps, piles of juicy Filet steak cooked perfectly medium. The locals come in for the House Lobster Special when entertaining at home. We always get the Spicy Fillet Mignon, Ginger Shrimps, Chinese Broccoli. Huge portion of rice included. Take home little less than 1/2 for leftovers between the two of us and a 40.00 tab+ tip.

Absolutely amazing. Authentic cuisine for a good price. My mom doesnt eat Chinese food, but gobbled up her lobster and veggies and didnt want to share a thing. Definitely coming back here.
My go to place for second level Chinese food. First level is the quick bite or fast food, third is formal dine-in. This is the perfect in-between, and every order takes 10-15 minutes to prepare. My last order of 4 menu items I clocked at 8 minutes, AND ITS SO GOOD
Jammed packed for a reason!I believe its HK style cut and fried lobster.Spice and flavoring on the fried lobster is on point, and the noodles underneath suck up all the flavor and are fantastic by themselves. The steak bits are super tender with flavor to match, and the soft fluffy egg appetizer with tomato is good.I was totally underwhelmed by the spicy fried chicken-- dont bother with it.
Plentiful and delicious Beef & Chinese broccoli. The House Special Chow Fun was also tasty. Nothing special about the service. Small restaurant is rated A by the Health Department. I will go back to try more items on the menu.
Had the Shrimp Chow Fun. Was not bad. Id go back if in the area. The price is average for this dish. There were other items on the menu that I may try later. Although many items I thought were over priced.

Glad I found this place. Stumbled across it while heading to get sushi. Figured I’d try something new, and I was very impressed. I got the Kung Pao Chicken (without rice), and the chow mein with shrimp, beef, and chicken. All for $20
First time buying and I would say very delicious. Compared to other fast food. Food is made on the spot. Not your heated ready made food. I need to try the lobster. Pricy but delicious.
My family haaaaates Chinese/Taiwanese food but I love it so they get dragged along LOOOLWe arrived around 9 PM on Monday night and we were greeted by a very nice lady, got seated, and ordered.We ordered the specialty house beef, wonton soup, green onion pancake, and seafood chow mein. I have no qualms with this place, everything we ordered was good! The beef was tender, the green onion pancake was crispy yet chewy, and the service was nice and attentive (water refills at a Chinese restaurant without asking? 10/10)
Hidden gem restaurant that has incredible food.. Their lobster is great and no slouch at all you will love it, but, if you like steak, then trust me and get the Filet Mignon... It just melts in your mouth and packs a flavorful punch. Love this place!
I couldnt believe it. We were very impressed with the flavor and quality, the portions, the price and the staff. I had given up hope on decent Chinese food in West Covina, but found this gem of a place. The filet mignon rocks! Everything so delicious!
Ordered the garlic lobster, minimum order is 3lbs. We’re a party of 4 people. You can choose mild, medium or spicy cooked lobster, we opted for medium spicy. We also ordered the fish filet with bkack bean sauce and the beef with the chinese broccoli. Steam Rice came with the order. The fish filet and the beef dish came first with the steam rice. We’re all agreeing how good and tasty the dishes are. After a few minutes the lobster was served. It was served on a bed of noodles and lots of garlic and slices of jalapeño peppers and green onions. It was a real gourmet delight. I plan to go back and try the other dishes on their menu, on my next visit to California from Las Vegas.
I wasnt all that impressed. The lobster wasnt very flavorful and did not have much meat. The noodles werent cooked well--a bit overdone. There are much better places to eat in this area.
Unfortunately food after covid is not all that great anymore! Prices have skyrocketed and food quality or taste has gone down. Will not be returning.

I found this restaurant in Instagram.Right away I had to try it. The Lobster is the best dish. The wonton soup and filet mignon was amazing. But if you are planning to go there for the Lobster you must call ahead, they run out so fast. Every penny I spend was worth it

Chairs look tired from dated finish that doesnt come clean anymore.Please bring refreshed and construction covers up a lot of stuff. Chinese speaking (Cantonese) shop keeper at least at lunch.

2022-03-07 21:51:41We lobsters decided to try a new place. The place is very clean. The owner is super friendly. They have been in this location for five (5) years. You can dine in or take out. I knew the owner from another restaurant.We ordered the following: pork chops (salt and pepper), squid (salt and pepper) and last dish house special chow fun. The food is very tasty.Next time, I am going to try some fish dish, soup and maybe the scallops too.I would recommend this place if you are craving for local Chinese food.

2017-08-11 06:31:13Great mom and pop shop in West Covina. Ordered the Beef with Ginger & Green Onions, Fish with Black Bean Sauce (spicy), and Clams with Basil Sauce (spicy). Plates are priced at $7.99 and up. Both the fish and clam dishes were not too spicy, more like a mild spice. Portions were good, beef was flavorful, and we left full with extra to take home.

They seem like they are factory processed rather than made from scratch. Beef Chow Fun is good but a bit on the oily side. Prices are cheap but you get what you pay for.
