Always a fantastic place. Ive been going here since about 2001. Everything has always been of top quality, reasonable prices and it is absolutely, entirely, and undoubtedly the most consistent restaurant around. Its always been and will be my number 1 Chinese food place. Highly recommend!

When first arriving, the place looks rather small and simple. Dont let that fool you though, because the food is excellent! The staff is also extremely welcoming and eager to help. The menu is also highly varied with tons of options, and every item I ordered tasted great. Happy I stopped here for dinner.
I really appreciate simple, friendly and authentic restaurants. We have eaten at Loomis Chinese twice and the food is very good. The service is great and most of all friendly. This is a charming, old school place that we really like.

Food is SO GOOD. This place is a hidden gem of Loomis. It doesnt look like much from the outside but the service and the food is delicious. You get so much food and the price is right. 5 stars 🤩
This place got 1/2 my order flat out wrong. Absolutely horrible. Not going to drive back 20 minutes to have them correct it. Most of my vegetarian dishes ended up as meat dishes. Their containers leak all over the place too so theres meat juice in the vegetable dish and when youre a vegetarian/vegan that isnt desirable. The food is the worst I have ever had. It literally just tastes like oil. We will never go here again. So disappointed. I wish I could get my money back.
We had an amazing experience at Loomis Chinese. The restaurant was clean and had an excellent wait staff. They provided excellent service as well as an excellent meal. Everyone in our gang of 12 enjoyed them selves very much in addition to taking food home with them. Our portions were big. All in all a five star experience from a pretty tough crowd...LOL!
Me and my family have been coming here for 12 years now. Their food is amazing and I am quite picky on what I eat, as is my family. My personal favorites are chicken chow mein, cashew chicken, Mongolian beef, and sweet and sour chicken of course. When my cousins from Southern California come to visit this is a request they always ask for. The service is friendly, the prices are great considering the amount of food you get. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I have been coming here since the 1990s when I was in high school.They have the best Sesame chicken.The staff were always friendly.I wish I lived in Loomis and could go get some Chinese food tonight
Every single time we order take-out, the food is hot, fresh, and delicious!!! The egg foo-young is light and fluffy, but loaded with flavor. Keeping the sauce separate is key. I could go on and on about all the different dishes and how amazing they are. Just order and enjoy...you’re welcome.
Great food. Weve been here twice for dinner, both times the food was so good. Not greasy, the pork in the sweat n sour pork was tender, little breading so you can taste the pork. Fresh vegetables in all 3 dishes we tried were cooked perfectly. Plenty left over to bring home. Friendly, clean. A bit hard to find but worth the time to find it.

Solid take out place, wasnt too pricey and was a good mix of Americanized while not just being just greasy fried stuff. They have both overly Americanized things and some good stuff Id expect to find in a city chinatown. Portions are on the larger side.Staff was nice, food was done exactly when they stated it would be for pick up. Will definitely be coming back for more.
Tried ordering online... It stated the order was not accepted, try again later. So we tried again. And AGAIN. only to find they were closed that day. But GOT CHARGED 3 TIMES on my card. So I cant even get my money back for another couple days because they wont be open. And now no dinner due to no funds on my card! Very unhappy.

Outstanding food! Our regular Chinese food restaurant closed a few years ago when the owners retired. We have been looking for another good one...and we found it! Very polite people. I only order the food and think its great. First time I have had shrimp chow main that has big shrimp. Its good price with well good proportion of serving. Definitely recommend eating at this restaurant.
Food was really good. I only had the House Fried Rice and Pork Chow Mein so I cant speak for the other dishes they serve there. I dont think they use MSG in their food as some Chinese food restaurants have in the past. Its a great little secret in Loomis and I will be going back soon.
Came across this place while my husband and two boys were waiting for our show time at studio movie grill. We had some time to kill and I wanted Chinese. Omgoshhhhhh! This place is Amazing and so dam gooooood!!!! Hands down yummy food. The place is cute and clean and it smells just as good when you walk in. Our family got Honey walnut chicken broccoli beef chicken chow mein and pork fried rice. The egg flower soup is a must have for me anywhere I go to eat Chinese. This was our first time here and it was worth every Penny. The staff is also nice and friendly. Everthing was soo good I was saying Mmmmm with each bite. I will definitely be back for more. Amazing food and service! I dont ever like beef from Chinese Restaurants, but theirs is a whole different story! Their Peking beef is to die for! Along with the General Chicken, mandarin chicken, green bean chicken, chowmein, and fried rice! Also, they are family owned and operated, so the business helps them and their children directly! The owners are very friendly! I will definitely be back! :)

I ordered $46 plus of food tonight, 10-30-17. My name is Nick so they know who I am when I leave this review. I without a doubt know that someone there clipped their finger nails in my food. I came in at about 7:30 pm. They will know exactly who I am because what they did was intentional. It was in the shrimp with black bean sauce. Thank you I fed my 1 yr and 5 yr daughters plus my wife with that disgust. I am sure you believe in karma.

Food was very greasy.. food was hot, but not cooked. Vegetables were raw. Me and my ten year old ordered dinner. From order time till dinner arrived was only 3 minutes. Had bill in 7 minutes from ordering food. Not much time to eat. Was very rushed. Explains under cooked food.
Loomis Chinese is one of the great things about this little town! It has great food, fast service, friendly staff and you can feed a family of 4 at a reasonable price. If you like Chinese food then I recommend you try it!

Nice people, terrible food...at least this time. First time we tried it, we were very excited to try it because of the numerous good reviews. But we ended up paying 50 dollars for 4 servings of foos, which is about 20 bucks more than we pay at other Chinese restaurants around Lincoln and Rocklin. In addition to the high price, the orange chicken was dry and old, and we got spicy and regular, but they were both the same (neither were spicy). The veggie side we got had the bamboo that starts to go bad that smells and tastes terribly familiar to the way eurine smells...and all of the veggies in the plate tasted that way because it. Pretty gross (to be fair weve experienced the same with other Asian restaurants that have baby shoots that start smelling and tasting that way).The chow mein and fried rice was descent, but nothing too special. My wife and I are not very big Chinese food snobs but this was the worst Chinese we remember having.Hopefully they were just having an off day. We wont go back however, since the prices were so high. A lot of the reviews were for other menu items however, perhaps we just chose poorly.
Yummmmm! We recently moved to Loomis and were hoping to find some good restaurants. Loomis Chinese restaurant is definitely a new favorite. The portions are big and prices are reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the options available with the family meals.

I was complaining to a neighbor about the Americanized Chinese restaurants in the Rocklin area, and asked if he could recommend an authentic Chinese restaurant near by, so he sent us to Loomis Chinese. We went there with high hopes, and were sad to find that the house chow fun we ordered was the same, drab concoction presented at other Chinese establishments in the area: There was a lot of noodles, a fair amount of chicken and pork, the prerequisite 2 shrimp, and the only vegetables were bean sprouts and onions. So the search continues...
New Ownership...it was pretty good before....even better now. The Chicken (Caucasian Meat lol) with Vegetables is awesome. The Pork chow mein is on hit (a lot of pork included).

2023-12-03 08:56:52Food is average American style Chinese. Portion is small. They do zero check in and no water refills. I am usually hungry 90 minutes after I leave. Regardless I’ll be back again for 5th time. Wish there are more options but small town life.

2022-01-16 04:21:27We ordered pork fried rice and spring rolls for takeout. While we waited we had a wonton soup. The soup was warm and tasty. The portion of fried rice was fair. It was good. I wouldnt say it was great though. If Im in the area again I would like to try another dish because as we waited for our to go everyone elses food looked delicious.

2021-09-22 01:00:47How did I not know about this restaurant? It is by far the best Chinese food in our area. We enjoyed Schezwan Beef, Cashew Chicken, and Generals Chicken. Wow! They were so good, hot, and fresh! Lots of very fresh veggies in both the Schezwan Beef and the Cashew Chicken. And this has to be one of the best Generals Chicken Ive ever eaten anywhere. The only disappointment was the corn chicken soup. Sorry, but it was just lame. I dont know about the other soups, but we will try a different one next time.

They are also so wonderful with our kids, that alone is worth 10 stars, as folks with kids know that not all restaurant owners are good with kids.

2023-11-01 05:35:03This restaurant uses MSG, but it is not disclosed on the door, menu, or online. I have an MSG sensitivity and got very sick as did my daughter. Worst 18 hours of my life. Most restaurants dont use it anymore. Please disclose it.

2023-05-05 22:39:08I give the 5 stars because they have wonderful customer service. I’ve only tried their chow fun. Today I went to pick my order up and she makes me they don’t have any today. I was a little frustrated but she was very sweet so I couldn’t be upset with her. She offered a substitute and one suggestion was a Singapore noodle. Well, I now have another favorite. It was very good. I wish all customer service people were like her. She was attentive and offered to bring me a drink. She deserves the recognition.

2023-02-01 05:57:13Ive been in Loomis for a long time and when I was a kid the Woodies shopping center burned down. When it was rebuilt and the grand opening of the place happened there was Loomis Chinese. They were bringing out tray after tray of chow mein, fried rice and sweet and sour chicken for everyone and raffling a mountain bike. After that day I was hooked. The food has never changed and has always been excellent. The Pekin Beef is great and you definitely need to try their Cream Cheese Wonton. They are also very fast with preparing the orders. Really nice people as well. The old owner knew me since the opening and for over 20 years he would always come to our table to ask how things were and to just chat. Great place.
