I had the quesabirria plate, just amazing! The house made guacamole was delicious, none of the diluted guacamole you get at some places. My son had the shrimp tacos. He loved these. Hand-made tortillas and plenty of shrimp. I highly recommend Los Costeñitos.

If that photo doesn’t lead you to believe that you would be entering into such a warm and vibrant atmosphere based off of legitimate Mexican culture, then I do not know what it would take for you. I was lucky enough to get me an immediate booth next to the front door as there was nobody inside on Monday, July 3. I ordered tacos de Burris and they were promptly brought out. Their house salsa with their tortilla chips is definitely a perfect addition to these things. Overall, this place is utterly fantastic. They were all too happy to serve me, the food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere feels like home. Add to that that it was warm outside and they had the A/C on, as well as wonderful music playing and you are destined to have yourself a fantastic time here. Oh and plus Victoria beer? Heaven.

Food was good for what it was, we got quesabiriras and we ordered tacos as well, the salsa was a little too spicy, overall a nice experience I like how the restaurant is designed. Will come back again and try something else.

Haven’t even tried the food yet (wife found this place on doordash) … I picked up the food. Service was great and surprisingly friendly, which was great to see. But the decor and layout - the vibe and atmosphere was like none other I’ve witnessed in Gilroy.

I would have given 5 stars until we received our bill. $7.95 for a side of beans !!! really one ladle of beans wow !!! Prices are already high on the menu, and you hit us with a surprise. The salsa could have been better, My Birria Casadilla was excellent, but Im still sore from the cost of beans 😆

Oh my goodness! We just found the best molcajete on the west coast! This dish had everything! From the shrimp to fried cheese to chorizo on the bottom, this molcajete had it! Not too spicy but sooo tasty! Will be back for sure!

I came in on Tuesday for a late lunch and paid $1 for each chicken taco I ordered. The chicken meat was tender. The tacos were tasty. We also ordered a pork burrito and quesadilla. Both were devoured quickly by the kids and given a thumbs up. The service was quick and friendly.

Ordered a Plato de Carnitas and it delivered. Excellent portions, meat was amazing, tortillas were fresh and delicious, salsa is excellent. Will be going back as often as possible!

Excellent al pastor tacos, lengua burrito was nicely toasted on the outside and delicious. Red sauce has a nice chipotle flavor tonit. Will definitely stop by again next time thru.

Found this on a drive from Bay Area to Santa Barbara. My husband had the shrimp soft tacos with flour tortillas and they were the BEST he ever had! We will make this our stop every time heading down 101.

Excellent home made Mexican food in a small hole-in-the-wall strip mall location. Guacamole fresh and flavorful. Homemade hot flour tortillas. Pollo mole to die for. Gracious, family service. Just returned from Mexico- so happy to have good a great MX food experience on our return. Will come back. Recommended.

Nothing notable here. Pictures in menu and what actually arrived we’re not similar. Chips came out with the food, not before. Not terrible, but there are better places out there. Many of them. Try Los Pericos in Santa Cruz
