We recently dined at Parkside, and it was an absolute delight. To start, we tried the deviled eggs, and even our little one loved the cool texture of the bacon bits. But the true star of the meal was the fried chicken – it was incredibly buttery and had a delightful crispy crust. Paired with the creamy mashed potatoes, it was a match made in heaven. The grain balls added a healthy and tasty touch to the meal.The ambiance around the bar area was perfect for a relaxed evening out. Were already planning to return. Parkside is a gem, and we highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience.

Cool new spot in LG and we’re all about it. The hubby and I came here tonight for our anniversary dinner…didn’t know what to expect bc there was only one Yelp review but from the very few photos posted, we thought it’d be worth a try and boy are we glad we did.First, hands off to Lexi; she was an awesome server. She’s super friendly and very attentive; she didn’t miss a beat!The ambiance is awesome. Great for a date night, girls/boys night, family night or even just a solo night. Their craft cocktails are super tasty; a must is their version of the espresso martini; it’s on nitro.The food was really good; all was very fresh and made of good quality ingredients. The hubby and I shared the tuna ahi poke and lettuce wraps (with shrimp), then we each had a horseradish encrusted salmon and the pork chop entree. Both came with a good amount of sides which was nice. To top off the night we shared the ice cream sundae.Diggin’ this place and will definitely be back.Note: there’s no dedicated parking lot but plenty of side street parking. Corkage is $35.

I had an opportunity to eat here on their 2nd day of being open to the public.Venue:Its in a great location across from the park. The restaurant has a modern vibe with cool bar with several tvs. Bathrooms were nicely appointed. Seating was comfortable and tables had good spacing.Service:Given that it was only the 2nd day, there were some kinks that needed to be ironed out. That is to be expected and did not deter from our experience. The servers were pleasant and did have a positive attitude and were knowledgeable about the menu. Management came over to say hello and thank us for our patience and understanding as they were dialing in the kitchen. I really appreciate the acknowledgement which the most important thing.Food/Drinks:We tried a number of different cocktails. They were quite good and tasty. I ordered a drink called, Just Peachy . It was good but I was expecting more peach if that was what the drink was called.I ordered a salad called, Super Food. which was delicious! It was a mango, avocado, jicama, berries, romaine with a vinagrete. Definitely would order it again! Very tasty!For my entree, I ordered the Marys fried chicken. Very very good. It was nicely battered, with a honey type sauce. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans too. Would order as a take out. Just wonderful. My friends ordered a shrimp dish, salmon and the gnocchi. They were super happy with their meals as well.Conclusion:This will be a regular place for me and my family. Loved our experience. I anticipate it only getting better as they were through the kinks of a new restaurant. I would definitely recommend this.

Incredible customer service. We had a slight issue with a dish and they were so gracious about it. Love the ambiance and everything was tasty. Thanks for taking care of customers, it pays dividends!

We are both vegan and we enjoyed dinner at the bar on a Sunday night. I had the quinoa bowl and the composition/ presentation, & flavors were very good. There was a high ratio of vegetables to quinoa, which I liked. Husband had the gnocchi, which was vegetarian but not vegan and he liked the lightness of the gnocchi. We hope to see more vegan friendly options like veg burger or Beyond /impossible Burger or tofu as protein option. That would bring us in more frequently.
