Second time going after 6pm and the food is not fresh whatsoever. The chicken is hard, rolls are hard and the beef is chewy. My daughter’s plate had a long hair in it. It use to be really good and fresh. I’m done here and I don’t recommend.

This place is AMAZING!!!! Flavors, spices, and seasonings are always there. The portions are the best and definitely worth the price. They have some great cheesecake as well, along with the veggie egg rolls. The hot and sour soup I tried for a first time and it did not disappoint, amazing broth flavor.

The food here can be delicious if you get it while its fresh, they have so many different flavors like BBQ Pork, and Orange Chicken. Those two are my favorite, theyre a little different than your traditional panda Express but definitely a staple in the city that everyone seems to love.I recommend giving them a try, big portions and good good prices.

Ok I had to edit my review. They have really stepped up their take out game. Ive never had to wait more than 5 min....and now that they have more volume in sales the food is always fresh. Plus you can feed 3 adults for $25. This is now a weekly stop for me on the way home.

Food was a little to hard and crunchy, overcooked I think. That may have something to do with the food not being as fresh later in the evening, but I cannot be 100% sure about that. The taste and quality its not as good as it used to be, maybe theyre losing their passion for their American Chinese Fair. Lastly, I recently went there twice and both times they didnt even thank me for my patronage. Instead I found myself thanking them. They need to learn to appreciate their customers, without us their bills do not get paid and they go out of business. My review is just my personal experience with Louies recently. In no way should my opinion be taken negatively or misconstrued as me being mean.Also, they did not greet me when I came in. When you enter a restaurant you smile and greet your customers. Once again, theyre lack of appreciation left me with a bad taste in my mouth.Sadly you only receive two stars from me and unfortunately for you, I dont believe that I will be returning. Your food just isnt that great and I didnt feel appreciated when I came in the last few times.

Now, Louies Chinese Restaurant is mine and my kids favorite place to get Chinese Fast Food!!! For the last 6-years, my kids and I have find to Louies to satisfy our urge for QUALITY Chinese food. Excellent customer service and food at a great/fair price and the memories of the meal sticks with us for a long time.You got to try/enjoy this lovely restaurant!!! Bottom line: good food at good prices. Waited over three years to try it because Im kind of a food snob and I moved to San Pedro in the summer and saw that they left their door open and was automatically turned off. Hate the ideas of possible flies and I thought I didnt see that many people there. Then one day last week when I was really craving Chinese food, I thought, duh, just request what I want and not select one of the many items all ready to go. So glad I did because first, it was really busy and not at all the empty restaurant I had thought. Lots of locals ordering the ready made items and ordering off the menu. And my food was good so lesson taught. Try it out before judging.

Ive been coming here for about three years now. The ladies there are great especially the daughter, very pretty and generous with servings. She will stuff the plate! Side note. The father/owner is NOT so generous .had him serve me once and literally made a plate a 5 year old would be required to go back for seconds to get full . All in all nice place, good food, good price.

Don’t eat the chow main it was freshly done and it was disgusting. The rice was good and the chicken. If you use Apple Pay they will charge you more. I’ll never come to this place again

Excellent food! The food price is really inexpensive compared to the quality. My favorite combo is Chow-Mein, spicy wings, and orange chicken, all of these for just 6 bucks and I am talking about a really big size of meal. You definitely should try it!

Was the end of the night they were out of just about everything . I ordered Shrimp Fried rice, the scooped it from the old rice under the lamps and ran it through the work to ad shrimp. And it tasted like it. I order BBQ pork it was Luke warm and tasted like a salt pork. Horrible food I will never go again. I am new to the area and sought them out. What a huge disappointment not worth the 20 I spent nor the time and energy it took to drive to them.

Ive been given the wrong change once the second time i got gipped by one of those ladies.. Still open i couldnt order a meal. She wanted me to order the leftovers she had at 8:20pm. There were a few customers eating mostly latinos. I never had trouble ordering food frim the menu before. But this is the aecond time they dont have enough good food. I wanted to order a freah shrimp chow mein. But was told no orders just whats in front of you. Theres waa nothing but leftovers . i guess the didnt want to make more bussines for the night. The meal i buy is 8 dollars plus i wanted other item. .. Well my concern is cou t your change before you leave. My boyfriend once got really sick with the orange chicken. They always say its fresh. They make fresh one and put it on bottom of the old one.. Next time ill kust walk further for fresh sushi. At sushi 21 on third and gaffey. Thats always been great

I ordered the mixed vegetables and side of fried rice. The mixed vegetables were swimming in clear liquid and broccoli was tough. No seasoning. Fried rice was orange in color...never had orange fried rice before. Waste of money.

Fast friendly service, traditional express Chinese food, this place makes food to order in addition to regular food line buffet style combos, i ordered the shrimp fried rice paid for extra shrimp, YUM, worth it, taste anything on the buffet if your not sure, i sampled a few items, orange chicken and spicy Tai chicken because of some of the negative reviews, Im happy to report, all is good and spicy means spicy for sure.
