Excellent and friendly staff, excellent food, very decent price. Food came quickly and I enjoyed feeling comfortable with the staff. I wish I could try more rolls, I had three and I am stuffed! Route 66 roll, calimari tempura roll, and dragon roll I believe are the ones I had. Fresh ingredients also. Just all over I really like this place.

Summary: A small shop with great food, good prices, and great atmosphere. Must visit for sushi lovers in the High Desert.I had just left a lengthy negative review for another sushi shop in the high desert, and I suppose sometimes it takes a negative experience to really make you appreciate a great one. The shop is well set up with an aesthetic appropriate for a Japanese sushi restaurant, even for its small size. Miso soup is not a menu item, and when I asked for it, it was provided to me for free, AMAZING! Thank you! I had a California roll and the udon noodles, which arrived steaming hot in a metal bowl resembling a mini-cauldron. The food was served with mixed tempura, delicious! Fountain drinks were exactly as youd expect from a well run establishment. Prices were reasonable, and the shop looked classy. The food was great, as was the service. Will be on my short list of sushi places to visit from now on.

I have been going to this place for years. The sister who run it are always so happy and nice. I do have a favorite chef🖤💯he makes my food the best. 😜Sushi pizza,monkey brains,dragon roll...just to name a few of my favs. I go at least once a month😋

I posted a review a week ago of my last experience but I think they took my review down this will be my second and last review if it gets taken down then I tried, but like I said before I have been a very very loyal frequent customer never once complained until now after continuing to order from here because it has been my favorite sushi place but there quality of food has gone down and now there recipe has changed after years of getting the same thing I called to ask if something changed and turns out it did which I have no problem now I know. But its the quality of food ive been getting these last few times i know they know my order and who i am ive never thought i was difficult mabe in there eyes i am, I dont know just makes me sad to let go of my favorite sushi spot, and i never liked to speak up and when I do they treat me rudely and rather than argue ill just take my hungry self elsewhere 🤷‍♀️ I just said ok thank you goodbye but the pictures dont lie. I use to speak so highly of this place.

Overall pretty “homey” environment. Went early enough and by the time we left, it was packed to the brim. Sushi which is what we had, was good even after it took a bit longer than we thought but that might be due to it being made by hand and love. If you want a home like experience then go here. Food and price was worth it.

Its such a cute spot. We have been going here for years and love the food. Everything is always fresh, and the staff is attentive to their customers. We are glad to have a nice sushi restaurant in the high desert. Some of our favorites include the salmon roll, the soya special hand roll, California tempura roll, and the miso soup.

I visit a lot of sushi restaurants. And I have my favorite picks which I will not mention in this review. Do this was my first time at this location. It was close by and I had never visited so I thought, why not! Being a Friday evening, the place was not surprisingly packed. I had read reviews before coming here. Some were great and some were not very good at all. But the ones that were not good seemed to be directed towards one server who was rude and lacked professionalism. So I thought that that shouldnt deter me from visiting. Well I dont like to give bad reviews, but they are part of being a serious reviewer. And honestly, this place was not impressive in any way. The service was so so. The atmosphere, lets just call it cramped and not welcoming. The food was not good. The only thing that was somewhat okay was the pricing. But then again, based on the level of service and the quality of the food, or lack thereof, this place is not a place Ill ever visit again. As you can see, I didnt even take any pictures, which is something I take pride in doing.Sorry Soya Sushi, but Im not a fan at all.

Food was rough. Some sushi had almost no fish. Seaweed salad was full of a thick sweet paste that tasted terrible. Staff didnt seem to care to fix. Had to ask for water when refills needed every time.

I absolutely love this place! I always order takeout orders for their bento boxes which are always prepared fresh and tasty especially the sushi! 💕The presentation of the food always looks great. We love this place! They have a pretty huge menu with great options for different palettes. My daughter and I go here at least 1-2 times a month and she only will get a cucumber roll so I appreciate them not gouging you with the prices. They have a great happy hour, and our only complaint is how small the dining are is.

Placed order at 6:20...Received order at 8:05. Horrible service. After watching people that ordered after me, receive their order before me, I realized that they were purposely skipping over my order. Have no idea why. The lady working kept saying she was sorry, as she gave other people their order. It was very strange. Almost mocking me by making a crying face as I ask where my order was. Almost 2 hours to make 6 rolls. Horrible service horrible people working there, and the food was disgusting.

Gave me my bill and told me I couldn’t order any more after 2 rolls and 3 nigiri. First time I got told to leave a sushi restaurant because I kept ordering a portion at a time. I was still hungry but couldn’t order any more. Food was great but the whole can’t order any more was a bummer. It was still 2 hours until closing.

Ive come here quite often and its somewhere I always keep in mind when on this side of the desert. Sushi is really good and you cant beat the price. Server is always the same lady and shes very sweet and friendly. When busy it can sometimes take some time to get things done because shes alone but its still worth it to come. Small restaurant so not much space for large parties especially when busy. Not very accommodating for babies. No high chairs or boosters and no changing station but you can put the car seat on one of the chairs at your table. If youre looking for well priced but still good sushi this is a good place! 😊

This is the last time I go there. The main woman server always neglects us and we usually tip 50 percent. My family has actually walked out before this time and I went back.. figured maybe the server had a couple bad days. Nope.. shes just that way. Took my cousin there today and he ordered a lunch combo and I ordered an appetizer. They bring his combo out and bring my appetizer out 15 minutes later. I ended up just getting it to go and didnt even tip this time. If you like cheap sushi with bad service.. definitely the spot for you!

I love eating at this sushi restaurant. The atmosphere is good, the waitress is very friendly but can be a little scattered at times. My main complaint is the wait times. Even if its not very busy the wait times for your food can be 30-60 minutes so if youre looking for a quick lunch or are in a hurry its best to save your visit when you have time to spend 2 hours at a restaurant. I call in my orders now and call after 30 minutes to see if they are ready to pick up. Maybe hire another chef? Aside from that the food is excellent. I always get the lobster roll, tempura salmon roll and philly crunch roll when I eat here and all three never disappoint.

The lady who always helps us is very friendly, funny, and has a great vibe to always make you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Awesome sushi here, great service, great pricing. This is our go to when we want sushi. Try the Baby Lobster Hand rolls, they are the bomb. If you love garlic, try the crunch albacore roll, its fantastic.. This place is great, and Michelle is the best, shes the owner, always treats us like family.

Absolute disaster of an experience! We walked in to see multiple available tables, but were all covered in dirty dishes. Only to then be instructed to sit at one of the many dirty tables and wait for it to be cleaned. As it was being cleaned we find out there was one waitress for the whole restaurant and after her passing us multiple times we had to reminder her we were ready to order. After ordering we had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. At one point I glanced into the kitchen and the cook gave me a dirty look. The funny part is at the end of it all they took forever for the service but didnt wait to long to collect the bill. Would not recommend this place at all

Never had a bad experience here! This location is located in the Jess Ranch Marketplace at the corner of Bear Valley and Apple Valley Road. It is located next to Chipotle, Massage Envy, etc. This is the usual spot the family and I go to when we are craving sushi. My wife loves sushi and loves their baked scallop roll. The hostess is very friendly and has good sense of humor. It is a small spot and seating can be limited. I havent been seated since COVID, but I believe they are indoor seating now. Ive picked up to-go orders and they have been quick to have it ready and waiting for me. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. I would recommend Soya is you are in town and craving some sushi or a bento box!

Love sushi is kinda weak. Not my style. They are cheap so their sushi is also cheap. The chef is usually new and very inexperienced. I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll once. It came out very big. I was quite impressed at the size. After one bite the tuna was gone and all the rest was rice. I sent it back.There are other sushi restaurants near that are way better.

Took an hour to get our order . That was after we reminded the waitress . Then the order was incomplete! The spicy tuna was good . So was the sushi that came with the spicy tuna. The house roll was all clumped together.We let the waitress know about the order being incomplete. She just blamed it on the chef. We asked for the check to pay and leave and that was it. Honestly left super disappointed and not because of the food cause we didn’t even get to eat it but I’ve had love soya before which is why I wanted to come here for my birthday but the service we got this day was absolutely terrible from the moment we walked in the lady didn’t even talk to us she lead us to a table I moved some chairs over and she came and roughly fixed the chairs back….we didn’t know we had to place a order on the the paper as we have never ate inside before and she grabs the paper and slams it on the table and just points and leaves ….some older gentleman came in about 15 minutes after us and she kindly attended them immediately she personally took there order and we sat there waiting for our 2 rolls and we watched the older gentleman get all there food before us idk if she was having a bad day or what was going on but the way she acted towards me and my mother was completely unacceptable and uncomfortable never have I been to a place who treated their customers so poorly definitely won’t be coming back which is a shame because there sushi is actually pretty good

We like this sushi best in all the high desert. We came over from Ninja Sushi (who is one of the best in my opinion) because Ninja failed in their customer service. Orders took hours, phone never answered, service was slow. But Love Sushi is fantastic in their customer service. Its small and cozy inside. Great for a couple. I like to order out and bring it home. They get the order right every time. And the eel sauce is very good! Im picky about the eel sauce.Weve only had rolls, but theyre all excellent. Im a non-spicy roll eater. I get shrimp lovers, and eel avocado. Sometimes the scallops roll. Husband loves anything spicy. He mixes wasabi with their soy sauce, and then dips all his fav spicy rolls in it. I think his fav is volcano.Crab cake balls are GINORMOUS. Great if you love crab, cream cheese and tempura.Highly recommend.

Not the same place it use to be. Priority is for the online orders and not the dine in customer. Rolls are smaller in diameter than I remember. Maybe new staff or maybe staff has to be in a hurry with the influx of online orders. No longer a place to dine at with the family.

This use to be my go to place for sushi. The sushi and service were ok, and it was reasonablthe priced. But, last nights service was appalling. Customers were complaining as we waited to be acknowledged and seated. As we were not acknowledged, another couple offered us their table as they settled their check. I Our appetizers, looked nothing short of overheated bowling snack food. We put in our order, to only be told sometime later that the kitchen was out of beef. We put in 3 simple orders of rolls. A woman at another table complained she had not received her food. This is a small restaurant with a maximum of maybe 8 or so tables, customers at this time had finished their meals and were waiting to receive their checks. I asked if our food was on its way, after waiting an unreasonable amount of time and was told by Ms. Francesca that it was not and if we wanted to we could leave and she would settle our check. Well, we did leave and will not be returning. Ms. Francesca continued to be short and downright bitchy. Excuse my blunt language, but there is no other way to describe the behavior and after being spoken too, in her manner, I believe it to be justifiable.

This review comes after three orders. First time I ordered was via Uber Eats and got two lunch specials and a roll. It was AMAZING.Knowing the quality of the food I made another order via Postmates. I ordered a Sushi Boat and other items but entered information in the instruction/direction section because the details regarding the Boat were unclear. Received my order and they completely glossed over what I asked for in the instructions/direction section and failed to swap out spicy tuna handrolls for literally anything else. (This can be done and I found out once I went into the restaurant)Third order was my breaking point. I went to the restaurant to place my order. I again ordered a Sushi Boat and made the same requests that I did when I ordered via Postmates (no spicy tuna and no shrimp nigri). This time the requests were acknowledged but not after being laughed at for asking for no shrimp. The woman yelled she said no shrimp ha ha ha. Weird, but ok. We unboxed our order only to find the MOST DISAPPOINTING sushi I have ever seen.The sashimi was THINLY sliced and still frozen and didnt look fresh. Every single slice of sashimi was partially frozen. I would have waited longer for defrosted fish.The rainbow roll that came with the boat was lacking. It was loosely rolled and just a mess. You can pick it up with your fingers and it would still unravel. Way too much rice as well which may have contributed to how loose it was.The nigri sushi....was just sad. Again, the fish was thinly sliced and partially frozen and they laid it on top of a mound of dry rice. Why so much dang rice?The handrolls were great.My family and I didnt even finish the order it was so underwhelming. Waste of money.This place lacks consistency and based off of three different experiences I can honestly say that if youre not getting a roll or handroll you are wasting your money.

It is one of the three best sushi restaurants in the high desert. Their portions are huge. My favorite is the Rainbow roll and Mackerel. Their California roll and Philly roll are my husband and kids favorite. The tuna and salmon sashimi are excellent and super fresh. The key to knowing if a shushi restaurant is good or bad is quite simple. When you enter you should not smell a fishy smell. If you smell a fishy smell you should leave immediately. If no fishy smell then you are in the right place.

Worst service ever. Rolls were rolled so loosely they fell apart. Couldnt get my original order of water for 30 minutes and then when our final roll came so did the check. I visited on Monday June 17th, around 2:30 pm... And the gentleman making the sushi absolutely Made my experience... He was attentive, a great conversation, and it shows how much he Loves his work!!! I sat at the bar that afternoon and he truly made my day!!! I thank you for your hospitality and kindness... Our favorite sushi place in the High Desert. Our familys oft ordered items are:The Soya Special handroll and the Hawaiian Roll- both are spicy and delicious. The Tempura Shrimp Roll is a simple and inexpensive option if you dont want anything raw- Its Grandmas and kids favorite! Ask for sides of Eel sauce and ponzu if you like to dip!

This, and the other soya places are horrible. The rolls fall apart, the food is low quality, and the chefs arent traineed properly. The presentation is awful..they serve baked rolls with the foil still on the bottom. The tuna was grainy and of poor quality.The only thing good here is the dollar beers. Samurai sushi is the best InThe HD in my opinion, and costs about the same. Dont wast time or money on soya.
