It’s hard to find vegan options in the us. This one is one of the best ones I’ve tried so far. The golden nuggets are amazing. The food I ordered for takeout was so hot that even after 1O minutes of driving it was still steaming hot. Prices are acceptable and the staff was kind. Didn’t wait long either. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was awesome. My problem with a lot of vegan spots is they tend to be super oily or the food itself still tastes like meat. It was delicious here and the quantities were great. Pleasantly surprised by the Singapore Noodles and the Potstickers were delicious.

Phenomenal shakes and food.One of the best vegan places Ive ever been to.The vanilla shake is superb. Super highly recommended the spicy bun soup.The pad Thai is god tier as well. The vegan burger is majestic, the side fries were amazing. What a place.

Full disclosure, I am not vegan. But I went on a veggie only diet and came here to try it out. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! Wow. My taste buds were so happy. Immediately when you come in you can smell how amazing the food is. The ambiance is nice and the service was pretty quick even though they were busy. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Grabbed the green beans and eggplant for takeout. My order was ready right on time and the service was prompt and courteous. Unfortunately, while the veggies seemed to be of good quality, the dish was unexpectedly quite sweet. I may go back to try something else, but the first try was a bummer.

They have a lot of choices to offer on their menu. We loved their potstickers which was crunchy on the side and had perfectly cooked filling inside. I’ll definitely be trying their Tom kha soup again next time. It seemed fresh, has tomatoes, mushrooms, tofu, pineapple and vegan style shrimp.The place was kept clean and tidy. Service was alright too. For those who want to try vegan only restaurant in and around north San Jose, this is the one.

One of the great vegetarian restaurants in the Bay Area. We came on Sunday for lunch at open hour. Restaurant was clean and ready to serve.All dishes tasted great except brown rice was incompletely cooked and was too hard to eat. Also the artificial tofu for kong pao chicken is too hard to chew.Over all everything is great 😊Recommend it and will try different dishes next time 😊

We went for a dinner date. The place is clean, host was polite. Service was great and quick. Ordered spicy wonton, singapore curry mifun and thai ice tea, lemonade.Drink was good. Wonton was not so spicy as mentioned in the menu but with the hot sauce it tasted good. Noodle was average.Vegan lover would like the place.

This is easily the best vegetarian/vegan specialized restaurant Ive ever been to. Its very clean and well managed with a hospitable staff that very informed on what the dishes and meat substitutes are made of.The food is so incredibly authentic and close to the original dishes. I almost cried when I ate the walnut vegan shrimp since it tasted so similar to my favorite dish before I went vegetarian. The seitan is amazing and the texture is perfect (very similar to chicken/meat). The spices are just right and not overbearing or artificial.Its not crowded and is a great, quiet place to talk and eat. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back.

Loving Hut is one of my favorite vegan restaurant chains, but the dishes offered are different in each one. I thought that the atmosphere of this one is bright and casual. Service is quick enough. Tried the 3 cup tofu and another dish that was nice and saucy. Really enjoyed both of the dishes, and great place to take meat eaters to change their mind about vegan food.

As a vegetarian, I love to eat guilt free at this place without checking for ingredients. Had ordered fish clay pot, shrimp nuggets, pot stickers and tiramisu cake. Everything was fresh and tasty, esp the pot stickers and tiramisu cake. Clay pot was warm but a bit underwhelming in terms of seasoning but nothing a bit of hot sauce couldnt fix. Service was friendly and quick. 1 star for the duct taped sofas which was a bit squeaky...

Food was a good portion sized and relatively affordable (around 10$ a dish). I ordered the spicy basil fried rice and I would say it is mildly spiced, but it had a nice presentation. Just have to say the family that runs this place is so very kind and aside from the amazing food I return for them! Something I got was not up to par and I let the gentleman know & he was more than happy to make it right, he said “thank you for telling us so we can make it better”. They even gave me some dog treats for my puppy. Just an overall great place and the food is absolutely delicious, one of the best vegan food places in the South Bay. I will always stop here any time I am in the area :)

Great place for vegan and vegetarian options. We got the sizzling pots and the quantity is great and also the price. Love their rustic style of using stone pots it was very authentic. Bear in mind that there is fish sauce in their kimchi so its not completely vegetarian. Nice staff and we ended getting free desserts for the weekend. Parking can be a hustle in this complex.

Updated: This is my favorite vegan place. We have been ordering at least 2-3 times month from this restaurant. Food is delicious.I would have given 5 stars if it were not for a couple of negative in-store experiences. I always request hot sauce and utensils. On two occasions, I was told it was in the pickup package only to find out it wasnt. Even when we order three entrees we just get one set of utensils and a couple of paper napkins. I wouldnt consider this a great service.Update: when I ordered twiced cook tody on doordash I got half container delivered. Quantity is just not worth the price.

This is a place for Vegans. It’s conveniently located in Milpitas near 99 ranch . I suggest going there early because parking in that plaza might be tight during high peak times like Saturday during lunch. They have a good selection of food. We tried the Pad Thai and the Walnut Shrimp. It was good. The place is extremely clean.

Today was my first time trying Loving Hut. I walked in and saw the person over the counter and instantly recognized them, happened to be an old friend from school. He showed me the menu and I was surprised about how much more there was than I looked online. I had my eyes on the General Tao, and to my luck my boy said it was fire so I ordered it and had to get that BBQ Bun as an appetizer. Food was ready in under 10 mins. I am very impressed by the customer service and how welcoming they are. Even before I walked in, I called to see if they were open and the other worker was super nice.Thanks Loving Hut! Where is the 6 star option? :-) I am so impressed with this restaurant. There is something very special going on here.I could not believe it but the food was magical. The best spring rolls I have ever had - they were made and prepared perfectly and with love I could tell.And the panang curry....amazingly delicious. Even the rice was somehow the best rice Ive had in a long time if not ever. And they were incredibly nice and made sure I had everything I needed.My new favorite restaurant. I found a gem. I had my first meal from here today and I really enjoyed it. I eat gluten free and was pleased with the variety of options, the flavor and quantity of food. I had no reaction, which is also a plus!I arrived right at 11 am and ordered takeout which was ready in about 7 minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful and told me I can also order online or call in orders.This location also has flan and ice cream which are gluten free (but not on the regular menu).

Not impressed at all.... Quantity is less for price of the dish. Service is lethargic and unorganized. Only rice was served and curry arrived after a reminder. While our order was still pending lady came to ask if we wanted to order dessert... Vegan shrimps were gross... Could not gulp it down. I think when you go out of way to imitate meat in vegan form, you are not true to your values. This restaurant cant take pride in being vegan. Green barn is better and teastier vegan Thai food option.

I dont like any of their entrees for 2 reasons - no fresh tofu, very oily. Ive eaten a few main dishes like their basil fried rice and they dont offer fresh tofu (the tofu almost has the texture of soy protein). The only thing I like is their option of garlic fries and basil fries and that they serve vegan ice cream.

Extremely good food for my taste. Not too spicy, not too bland. Carefully cooked- not undercooked, not overcooked. We could tell that each dish has been designed very thoughtfully. Presentation and portions is also perfect. All servers are very presentable and pleasant except there are not enough of them. Overall slow Service is the only bad thing we figured and hence 4 stars. I have been here twice. The staff are incredibly slow. You will be here at least an hour. Most of your time spent here will be waiting for them to take your order and then waiting for the bill.The food itself is ok at best. This food is way too expensive for the quality of food you receive. I got the phish sandwich and it was kinda gross, tasted like it came fresh out of the microwave. I got a side salad with the sandwich and there was no salad dressing, not even on the side. The brownie a la mode is just a brownie in a package served with a side of cheap almond milk ice cream. The tiramisu had no flavor. Tasted like a piece of white cake they put coffee and chocolate icing on. I do not recommend this restaurant unless your looking for pricey, cheap tasting, vegan, fast food.

Inside filling was mushy like those you find in the frozen appetizer section. Only thing this spring roll had going for it was the crispy wrapper.Rolling Tango - Fake beef was forgettable. Breading was extremely soggy and very oily. Sauce was decent. Added fried tofu to this. Would maybe order it again with fried tofu instead of the fake breaded beef.Crispy Mushroom - Overrated. The sauce it comes with is just not very good at all. At the $15 price point, this dish is hard to justify ordering.I wouldve liked to try the fake shrimp -- maybe Ill do that next time. However, everything I ordered was highly unsatisfying.

I liked this place because it has a lot of tofu dishes, and instead if all the chicken and shrimp, they replace it with soy protein. The service was also extremely friendly and my personal favorites were the Pad Thai and the ice cream. ☺😊I would recommend this place to anyone, anytime.

Just had a lovely meal at Loving Hut! Parking for lunch was horrendous, but the food was well worth the hunt! Portions are large and good for sharing with another person. The flavors are excellent and textures really make the dishes enjoyable. The potstickers came hot and the braised dried green beans were so delicious! I split the Ocean miso soup and was really happy with the shrimp! The servers were polite and helpful, enabling me to meet a friend for lunch while toting my 7-month-old in her car seat. The server nudged the table over so I could place the car seat on the booth seat next to me. The decor was clean and modern, giving the meal a good vibe. Good for small conversations as well as get-togethers. I will definitely recommend this place, regardless of whether you are vegan - extremely tasty food and great experience!

The waiter was unfriendly. The tables were dirty (the waiter cleaned, upon our request, in an obnoxious manner). The main dish was cold and we had to ask the waiter to reheat it. Out of 5 plates ordered, only 3 came. The manager disdainfully told us that we should have noticed they are understaffed... as if that was our duty tu look after the size of his team. No discount proposed, we paid and left.

The absolute worst food Ive had in quite a long time. We used Groupon, and still it was the worst deal Ive come across in a long time -- someone would have to pay me to eat that food. Also comes with free stomach upset -- reason why I am compelled to write a review to warn others. Not sure why its so highly rated, I wonder if they are all legitimate -- or maybe theres some supreme master cult influence. Google loving hut supreme master ching hai and youll see what I mean.While not a vegan myself, my partner is, and weve tried all kinds of vegan restaurants. This place is worst than abysmal -- if thats possible. Things we ordered:1. hand roll -- the picture looks like what youd get at a sushi restaurant. Dont be fooled, its got no sushi flavor. First, no sushi rice. Its basically lettuce wrapped in seaweed with some cucumber and a piece of shrimp. Its cold, and so felt likely literally some cold left-over from the fridge slapped together2. wonton in hot oil -- a classic in szechuan food. Again, it looks nothing like the picture in the menu. We felt deceived again. None of the szechuan spicy peppery flavor. Wonton felt like they came out of a frozen package -- lukewarm and chewy thick skin with little soy bits filling (no vegetables).3. healthy rice -- if you could call that healthy. Again, looks nothing like the picture in the menu. It looks and tastes like left-over rice drenched in overly sweet sauce and oil. There were a bit of sesame and pinenuts, but they were NOT cooked together -- Merely tossed together. I took a bite and could not finish. Definitely the worst dish of them all.4. Fried shrimp thing -- it was the only thing that was acceptable. Still, looks NOTING like the picture in the menu. It was deep-fried instead of tempura style. Its the only thing that I felt alright eating. One problem was, it was padded with lettuce so half the volume of the disk was just junk.Many items we got were loaded with junk stuff like lettuce and tomatoes (they throw that on even the rice, seriously?). I left hungry and am glad that I didnt have to finish the food. Even with Groupon the bill came out $40+ with tips. Youd have to pay me to eat that stuff. Both my partner and I got stomach upset (pain, excessive gas and bloat) after eating. Couldnt shake it off after workout either. Coincidence? I think not. Theres also weird vibe at the restaurant with the cult supreme master TV playing. I guess you could say, its literally got a cult following. Do yourselves a favor, go north and visit Veggie Lee for all vegan good Chinese food, you wont be disappointed. Hell even Mint and Basil is better.

Not impressed at all. Either the people who are giving positive feedback havent tried much vegan restaurants or we ordered the wrong items.Quick service, decent portions but the niceties end there. The entrees have difderent ingredients but have more or less the same tamarind base. Guess I have high standards after eating at Mint and Basil and Veggie Lee.The quality and consistency of their Seitan and soy protein forms is somewhat off. We ordered The Queen, Walnut Cha Cha, Lemon Seitan and kung pao Seitan. The Lemon Seitan was supposed to have red and green bell pepper but had only green. The Kung pao was supposed to have peanuts but had 4 peanut halves. The walnuts in the walnut cha cha were not candied properly and had a weird taste. The Queen, was kinda okay.First and last time for us. And worst of all, we were all hit with diarrhea by night.

I have long been a fan of Loving Hut on 516 Barber Ln in Milpitas. On Aug 30 between 7:15-7:45 pm I observed a waiter drop a serving spoon on the floor on the way to taking a dish to a table. Another waitress picked up the spoon and put in back on the serving tray for him. The waiter then served his table with a spoon that had fallen onto the floor.This is very disappointing to me and has made me question if this restaurant is safe to eat in after observing two staff who lack even the most basic food and safety knowledge.
