I stumbled upon this small quaint deli, while waiting for my alterations to be completed at a nearby location.I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. It did not disappoint, it had tons of tender beef, bell peppers and onions. The bread was warm and toasty.The staff were warm, friendly and courteous. The wait time for my sandwich was minimal. The prices were a bit high for sandwiches, my cheese stake was $19.00. Other than the $$ for the cost of the sandwich everything else was great.I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re ever in the area and looking for a tasty homemade sandwich or a delicious burger.Bon Appetite, tell’em Janice sent yah!

Food is really good and service is friendly. But for a place that has most of its chairs up on the tables it’s pretty filthy. It’s 50 degrees out and I haven’t seen flies anywhere for a couple months but inside had tons of them. There’s a bunch of stuff on the floor up under edges that’s easily visible, twisted wires under the counter that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months and months. I couldn’t see behind the counter but if the rest looks like that I don’t expect much. There was a mop bucket and mop just out in the area over an hour before closing with no one using it with dirty water in it.So my take… food is great and the employees are nice. But cleanliness could definitely use a real overhaul.

Delicious spot for a hot sandwich with excellent meat. It was seriously good food. The service was warm and welcoming. The place was unpretentious and laid back. I would have eaten more if I could have taken a nap afterwards. I will absolutely return because the food was great!

Absolutely the best burger I have ever had. They have a great menu and always fantastic specials. I had the green butted skunk (bacon/blue cheese) with Elk. My husband had a burger special that had jalapeno and cream cheese. Yum.

Had an amazing burger from Lucky Millers Deli. I met the owner who was running the cash register had a very great conversation. This man pours his heart and soul into his food and WOW it’s delicious. This an amazing spot for lunch and they really care about the food and care deeply about the customers.

This place is very expensive for what it is. The sandwich I got was almost $20 and nothing special at all. There are like 10 better sandwich places in Redding and one of them is only a block away from here. I suggest looking elsewhere for your sandwich needs.

Great food and excellent service. We went at noon on a week day so it was the lunch rush but despite the long line we still received our food in less than 30 minutes. If youre looking for a great sandwich or burger this is the place. Will definitely be eating here again

It was my mine and my husbands 1st time going. We will definitely be going back! The food was amazing. The owner and staff were super nice. I highly recommend this deli. I had the daily special of the trinami (tender, flavorful, no gristle or fat tri tip) and pastrami (also super flavorful with no fat or gristle). My husband had the lazy porch hound hot dog. Also amazing.

Delicious food with an abundance of choices at very reasonable prices! Staff are always courteous & helpful. The best available, top quality meats you can find. You MUST try the Bison & Elk Burgers. They are ALL to die for! This is the Bison East Coast Burger. My favorite! Good luck finishing it! Huge quantities of food. The owner, Jason, has a heart of gold & donates to true charities in the community all the time. Makes me proud to support those who support the community. An absolute must try!

I have ate here several times I like to try something new when ever I can .it is a small business but that is one of the things I like about it the is amazing. You can get a great burger with different meat. They have beef or elk also bison. My favorite is elk.all the other dishes they serve are Really good as well the staff is very friendly and out going as well.if you looking for something new to try give this place a try you wont be sorry.

Looked like a hole in the wall place. Ok, it was. But the smoker outside drew me in. Yea, just another “BBQ joint” around here. Yea, nah. Best. BBQ. Sandwich. I’ve had in this whole area. No joke. It’s called the Tristrami (or something like that). Anyway, it’s got roast beef, beef pastrami, tri tip, some veg and a KILLER mayo type sauce. The bun was an absolutely perfect match for the sandwich. Where has this place been?! I’ve been here since 2006. Seriously, do yourself a favor and try it. Their soda fountain had a perfect balance too- what’s up with delis and not having a good balance of bubbly and syrup? Meh. Well Miller’s Deli killed it on all fronts. (Sorry no photos… next time tho, there will be a next time!)

Three of us came in 15 mins before closing. Everyone was so nice & helpful. We offered to take it to go since it would put them past closing . We were assured several times that we were fine to dine in & were not rushed to finish. Hands down the best burger Ive ever had!

Ordered over the phone and picked up our food. Took a while to get but quality fresh food isnt fast.Ordered their new sandwich Mack Finny I think is the name. DELICIOUS!!!! Needs to be a permanent burger!!!Also ordered a Eastside burger medium.We got home and unfortunately the burger was well done and not a beef patty. Whether it was Elk or Bison I wasnt a fan.I called and spoke to kind young lady that said she would put our name on a list to fix the issue as it was already close to closing. Not even 3 minutes after hanging up the owner called to ask what happened and we explained. He tried to replace both sandwiches but I wasnt going to take advantage of their kindness.This place is worth every dime. Quality ingredients and friendly customer service.Despite the mistake they were quick to remedy it and thats why they are still getting 5 stars.

Ive been here in a few times, so I decided to write a review. This place is truly out of the chart. Every time, every single person you interact with at Lucky Millers are super nice, professional, and they make you feel home and welcomed. The culture and the atmosphere is amazing. The food is simply ridiculous!!! There are a few good burger places in Redding that you can compare to each other but not this one. Lucky Millers is in its own league miles away front of the others. The ingredients are fresh and representing the best quality. The taste of everything Ive tried so far is outstanding. You will find a great balance of sophisticated multi-layered flavors in your meal, a true art of using spices brilliantly. IMO, you only can make food of this quality when you are deeply compassionate and going after excellence . Considering what you get here, the slightly higher prices well worth it. I think, there is some room to improve the place, the restroom and the furniture (a few loose chair legs), de-greasing the tables, but nothing too bad that would negatively affect your experience. If you want the BEST burger in Redding, undoubtedly, this is the place to go!

One of our daughters wanted French Dip Sandwiches for her bday dinner. I found Lucky Millers Deli online saw it had 4.8 stars and figured Id give it a chance. Wow, I have no idea why it has 4.8 out of 5, it was more like an 8.4 out of 5. The meat was fantastic and you didnt have to pull pieces of fat out of it. Every single bite was delicious. We ordered 10 and could not get there before 5 so they actually let my girlfriend pick them up a little late and were more than happy to allow us this courtesy. They were fantastic and friendly. I will be recommending them to everyone I know and definitely be ordering from them again. Thank you for making the sandwiches for my daughters bday dinner exactly what she wanted.

He had the jalapeno burger with ghost pepper cheese! $16.99, comes with a drink, sounds pricy but its big and freshly bbq-ed.I had the pb & j burger. I pulled the place up on Google Maps under restaurants and I’m so glad I did! Two warning. If you have a burger, come hungry and don’t eat it in your car! Incredibly juicy and huge! I had the teriyaki burger. One of the best ever. All the staff was genuinely friendly and enjoyed what they do - you can tell. Next time through Redding I know know where to stop. You should too. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was a very soggy sandwich. It wasnt very cheesy either....but tasted ok. Imo they need to make it look more appealing...the meat and onions and bell peppers put on it were all the same grey color. I could only eat half and soggyness was a turn off. Really nice ladies at counter. Just not a 5 star...as much as I would like to.

I honestly cannot think of a time where Ive had a better burger. This place should be world famous. I got the PB&J burger on elk. I was skeptical at first but the quality of the meat was phenomenal and the meat was cooked perfectly for the animal. The zany toppings were a nice bonus and worked well together. The food here is amazing. Im the type of person who tends to find a favorite menu item from each establishment then gets that same item every time. This place changed my routine. Its made it onto my Foodie Bucket List twice already with more trips planned in the near future then more trips after that to try different items then more trips to get second helpings, then thirds. Finally, made it in to this little gem. Ive heard nothing but amazing things about this place from several people and they were not exaggerating! Its not a big space which means limited seating. But the sandwiches are some of the best Ive eaten. You know when something tastes so good you cant stop eating it no matter how full you are? Thats these sammies! Plus their customer service is phenomenal and the reason for the 5th star. They were polite and friendly, but not robotic or chain trained, they were genuine and sincere. Just went in based on here say and reviews.....and Im soo glad I did. The philly dip is an amazing sandwich and a must try if its your first go. I also got a monster of a burger with ghost pepper, blue, and pepper Jack cheeses and a little bit of BlackBerry jalapeno jelly. $23 and some change for 2 insanely filling and delicious sandwiches. Thanks to the owner jason and his wonderful employees, these are great.

I work around the corner and come here during my lunch break with a few others from work nearly every work day! This place is phenomenal. I have tried nearly everything they have to offer and i can safely say that there is not a single thing that i have not liked. 5 stars to them and i would reccommend it to anyone is including people who live out of state. Great deli sandwiches. The sub roll is so fresh and packed with flavor! I had the philly with the onions and peppers and melted cheese. My hubby had the French Dip with the horseradish cheddar cheese. Yum! The owners are great guys to talk to. They have albums from the 70’s decorating the walls. ThNks for a great stop on our way to Palm Springs!
