Luis Butcher Shop in Downey

I was totally blown away by what I thought was just a butcher shop. Its so much more! Its a butcher, its a market with amazing produce selection, it also has a restaurant inside that sells the most amazing food! Lots of parking, staff is really friendly and helpful. Meat quality is excellent and they have a lot of prepared meats and appetizers for the grill. The restaurant inside is amazing. Of course they use their fresh meats which makes it that much better. Good selection of food and a fun menu. Carnivore fries/nachos are great as is their 18hour smoked brisket sandwich. This place has it all!

Great BBQ meat of any kind,anything you buy is great. Lots of meat for any occasion,specially the carne asada and short ribs,they also have Argentinian meat cuts,lots of different products Peruvian, Argentinian, Mexican, Central American, creams, cheese, beers, great carne al pastor tacos, daily deli, great sauces especially the jalapeno sauce goes with everything, I highly recommend it.they have the best brisket in town,nice selection of wine, stop by you wont regret it.

Great place for great cuts of meat. Friendly knowledgeable staff who know their products and can custom-cut what you need. Well-stocked with some groceries, wood for smoking, and they also got a nifty little deli, too.

Ordered the brisket sandwich because of the pictures and reviews Ive seen on Instagram, I have to tell you, this sandwich was the best Ive had in years!!! Tender meat, good bread, the combination of flavors that hit my taste buds was unreal! This butcher shop is a one stop shop for anyone who likes good food and good cuts of meat

Just discovered this local meat market. They carry marinated steaks, chops and chicken. They also have some prepare hot items such as tacos, quesadillas and their very tasty beef brisket sandwiches. The brisket is smoked for 18 hours!!!!! Served a on bread roll with cheese and guacamole.

Love this place they have a lot of central American products and there butcher shop has fresh meats and prepared meats along with veggies and drinks.. recommend.

Stopped here for lunch today and ordered the brisket sandwich and a brisket taco. Ordering is easy inside at the deli station to the right when you walk in. You pay at the cashier and there’s a pickup window outside.The sandwich came with tortilla chips and aSalsa plus chipotle sauce. Definitely try a bite of the sandwich on its own because it’s packed with flavor. I loved it and am already thinking about having it again next lunch. I might be wrong but seems like the bread is buttered and toasted on cooktop with cheese. So this sandwich is made with cheese toast! I tried the brisket on its own and this meat is delicious. You’re going to want to try this brisket sandwich. Do it.The brisket taco is equally delicious and comes with a large serving of brisket. A couple of these tacos and easily make a meal and three will cover you if you’re extra hungry.

Best local butcher around. Moises goes out of his way to educate and inform you about the cuts and options they offer. Brisket is the bomb. Their store made Craft beef jerky is my favorite. This is a hidden gem, but if you ask them and say gotrandy.com you won’t be disappointed👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
