2023-09-01 21:45:58Service was good food was great. Didnt take too long to get our food presented nicely on the plates. We went there for lunch on a Friday and not too busy. In fact, everybody was sitting in the bar area, and only a couple of tables were taken. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the enchiladas verde. Both were very delicious. I had the tropical or passion tea. The only problem was it tasted kind of like water and weak, other than that, everything was good.

2023-07-18 17:27:05The food was interesting and tasty. The only thing is that the modern twist on the “sopes” was not suitable for the gluten sensitive person. Sopes are made out of corn which is naturally gluten free. Their sopes are a little fried flour tortilla (wheat flour = not gluten free) and is not mentioned on the menu. So, only the tasty meat was eaten. Their white rice with plantain, and the sweet potato fries were delicious!

2023-07-23 19:48:21First time here and the atmosphere was kickin, very modern place with a decent menu with various items. From classic tacos to fondue to tostadas, you can see the street food turned seemingly high end but at a good, decent price. As a foodie and food critic, the food I ordered and savored was delicious. It may be different to everyones taste but the food would be the highlight of it all, we skipped appetizers since we had been given chips and salsa but were overall stuffed by the end of our main course. Flavors are subtle and rich when partnered with different wines, so for sure use the wine/beer menu to your advantage!

2023-11-12 23:32:43First time here. Sunday day after Veterans Day. When we came in we had a big party I think maybe 14 people. Other tables were large parties also. We had a choice of a brunch from the menu or menu service. I just ordered from the menu. I ordered a Carnitas wet burrito served with beans and rice. Plate was serve attractive and my burrito was very good but it was too much for me to eat so I brought the rest home. Menu prices are a little up there but I feel if youre going have a party for a birthday, anniversary or some party this place would be good for that. When you walk in theres a bar right in the middle of the restaurant. Service was wonderful and very organized. They bust the tables as you were eating so you wouldnt have dirty glasses or plates on the table. We all had a wonderful time here at Lunas. I recommend this place

2022-06-02 00:21:51Happy hour deals (Monday-Friday 3-7pm)The restaurant is a little hidden, behind Lowes across Residence Inn. The happy hour portions are reasonably priced. The presentation of the plates was nice. The food was satisfactory. It is not your traditional authentic Mexican flavors. Great place to meet up.

2022-08-23 00:22:29First time to this place and it didnt let me down. Taken on the recommendation of an acquaintance it is an upscale (atmosphere and presentation) Mexican fare restaurant. The one thing that is not upscale is the price. Plates were in the 20+ dollar range but were delivered as if they were $40.The atmosphere was great and the service was even better. One of the few times my drinks were replaced before they were empty and never had to ask. The waitress new her job and performed it very well. The salsa was great with a garlic flair as was the homemade guac. The corn chowder was rich and flavorful though it would be nice to have some more texture to it.I have the tequila fired shrimp. They were delicious. It was topped over a bed of what appeared to be lightly cooked squash and stuff with a cream sauce. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. Not usually mentioned in a review is the restroom which was clean and tidy. The art on the walls is great (see pics) and it is easy to feel at home here. The volume will increase during key meal times so it is not a place for quiet repose.Well done Luna!👏

2023-11-05 04:13:32Found this restaurant randomly searching on Google Maps for dine-in Mexican food, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious! My wife and shared a appetizer platter and carne asada enchiladas. Both were excellent! I didn’t give 5 stars for the atmosphere only because it was a little loud for my liking, but it was also Saturday night. So I understand and it would not stop me from going back. Highly recommend and glad I found this place.

2023-01-05 04:48:56This place can get pretty loud, but when theres lots of people, thats a good sign that they are doing something right! All their food is sooo flavorful! I wish I went more often so that I could explore more options. I normally default to getting the empanadas for appetizer (get extra sauce!) And the drunken salmon *chefs kiss*! This time I tried the goat cheese and corn tamal and the salmon z... (I cant remember its exact name). Both amazing!
