Lunas Bar & Grill in Indio

Food and service were both fantastic. Great flavors, cooked perfectly and well priced. Staff was friendly and had good recommendations for entrées. Were going back again next week.

I would like to start this off by saying that the only reason I’m not giving full stars is because we ordered the steak au poivre to be cooked medium and it was well done once we cut it, also they only gave 3 skinny strips of asparagus. It was a $39 dish but we still expected a little more from it. The spicy watermelon margarita did not taste anything like watermelon, but it was okay because it got the job done if you know what I mean.The roasted chicken was very good and honestly they have one of the best tasting mashed potatoes. The garlic bread appetizer was delicious.Overall, the atmosphere was great. We sat at the bar on a Saturday and showed up 5 minutes after 5pm when they reopen. I definitely recommend you make a reservation if you do not want to sit at the bar or risk not being able to get a seat by just showing up. It got full quickly, including the bar. The bartender was great, you definitely get what you pay for.

Nice new clean location. Decent parking. Food was Good. Disappointing we mentioned our 25th anniversary supper and being a table of two felt little unwanted. No recognition for celebration which most places do.The veal Marsala was Short on flavour unfortunately. Fair portion but not a recommendationThe Chicken Picatta much more flavourful and would recommend.Cheese cake was decent.Glad we tried but likely not a return visit.

This was my first time eating here. Id heard good things, so I wanted to give it a try. Our server was Ysel, and she was great. Very sweet and attentive. I had the halibut, and it was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice. The house Chardonnay was super. I will be back!

While the food was reasonably good, the prices were not commensurate to the quality. The risotto was not bad, but not particularly special. Ive had better for sure. A simple bacardi and coke was $16. Unreasonable considering how cheap the price of Bacardi is. Also, my waiter was not very attentive (and my expectations are not high). Not sure if Ill return.

I went here for my birthday, it was fantastic! Everything.. Had the carparcio, one of the best Ive ever had. Fettuccine Alfredo, perfect. Service, perfect. Atmosphere, perfect. Spotless clean, great vibes. Cannot say enough and I have been in the restaurant business for many years. Perfect.

Celebrated a birthday with a large group of friends. Some friends thought the service wasn’t as good as they expected. There were 7 couples and the restaurant would not do separate checks. So we were presented with the bill and split it by 7 couples. We all paid cash to one of the friends who paid with their credit card and a service charge was added on his card adding an additional charge of $26 which was not on the total bill and we were unaware of at the time. Of course I made it right with him but unfortunate they have lost future business.

So far so good, but the server is ok they don’t check on us. It takes awhile to get our order. Just thankful his service. Fyi they have surcharge on top of the bill. I think that’s not fair. They shouldn’t do that to their customers,

This is such a great new place in La Quinta. Our server, Alberto, was so personable and pleasant to talk to. I had a lonely rose and my husband enjoyed the Old Fashion. Their caprice salad is wonderful and their mussels are lovely. The whole experience was just right. Worth checking out for sure!

Its good to be home again at Lunas new location. IYKYK And if you dont know. You must com and see/eat. The food is amazing, the service impeccable. You will be full and happy when you leave. And like us (hubby and I) will be back, again & again
