The Angus beef stew was delicious. The beef was super juicy. The broth was gingery and perfect. The vegan dumplings were amazing. Taste like meat was inside but I guess it was mushrooms. I would definitely come back for these two things 5/5 stars for theseThe scallion pancakes were tasty but they were so oily. I mean I could literally squeeze them and have a hand full of oil. I’ve never had them so im not sure if that’s how they are supposed to be, but man I’ve never seen so much oil in food in my life. It really ruined the whole experience. The rice was just regular old rice. It cost 4 dollars become it was “ fancy “ but wasn’t fancy at all. It was hard like it wasn’t cooked all the way or it was old. It definitely wasn’t washed 5X and it definitely wasn’t fluffy. These two things gets a 2/5 stars.Over all I liked this place would definitely come back but not for the rice and scallion pancakes.

Troy L was quick to help us with our order. He was super friendly! We ended up ordering the stewed pork belly and angus beef noodles, soup dumplings and pan fried dumplings. We (kids included) loved the food! Highly recommend! The meats in all the dishes melts in your mouth. The soups the noodles came in is so good! We are so glad we came here to eat!!

Came here with my family, my husband really like the dumplings. The waitress is very nice, excellent service and food. But it is so terrible to hear that the whole kitchen was bullying and yelling to her,make us feel bad for her.

Yet another fantastic spot in the San Gabriel Valley for authentic flavors in dumplings & Asian cuisine.Recommended by YouTubers Mikey Chen & Mark Weins, decided to come and check it out.Upon being seated the wait wasnt too long due to their busy flow and dumpling availability. They are so busy and just before lunch closing I was able to get our orders in and delivered to our table.Ordered a set of pan fried chicken dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings, & xio long bao.Warning to all who have not been here before, Saturday being one of their most busiest days during peak hours of business. The wait to dine in approximately 30-40 minute wait, food order approximately 15-20 minutes.They offer phone/online ordering for pick up service.Place is clean & organized, service is professional.Will have to return to try their bowls of noodles.

The dumplings are delicious. But it’s very frustrating when you give very clear instructions for takeout and they can’t follow them. I ordered 5 sets of chopsticks and a tub of dumpling sauce and chilli oil per pack of dumplings ordered. We got 2 x 1/4 full dumpling sauces and no chilli oil for our 4 packs of dumplings. And we got 2 packs of chopsticks. Hard for 5 people to eat with not enough cutlery. They obviously didn’t even read the order notes. Annoying!They did however give us 4 free little pig buns which was a nice surprise and delicious.I’ve also been in there in person a couple of times and the customer service sucks. Rude and not friendly at all.But it’s cool to see them making all the food right behind the counter.So basically, the only thing this place has going for them is the food.

Uneven salt spread on their dumpling mix. I went with my family so we ordered and share. While my son said it tasted good and not salty, my was extremely salty. Their noodle was ok but nothing special.

My first time going to a Dumpling place, they were delicious and super tasty .. My family and I enjoy it and we were greatly pleased.It’s located in a shopping place with a lot of parking spots.Simple and small place but Dumplings are so good ..They also have a Michelin 2021 mention 😀

Amazing restaurant. The Dumplings are probably the best in Monrovia/Arcadia area (which is saying a lot) and the prices are amazingly good. Dont neglect the other items on the menu as the Bok Choy and Green Onion Pancakes are also winners.

LOVE this hole in the wall. They were also in the Michelin list in 2021. My husband and I always get the angus beef noodle soup and tendon noodle soup then share our toppings with each other. It’s my go-to for noodle soups. We also enjoy the ear mushrooms, it’s a little spicy, a lot tangy and the texture of the mushrooms is perfect.

The sesame noodles and pan friend dumplings were very good. The soup dumplings were just ok. Fell apart and the broth wasn’t very rich. But the meat filling was good. Troy took care of us and he was very friendly!

Disappointed. I have been coming to luscious dumplings for over 10 years and have had an amazing experience. I’m not sure what has happened, but they have really dropped the ball.This place was always packed, and this time we were the only table. Everything is served on plastic plates, the tea has changed, you now have to order, pay and tip before receiving any of your food. There was horrible music playing and the staff were not friendly.This would all be ok, but the quality of the dumplings is not the same. Luscious dumplings used to be my favorite dumpling spot, but looks like I’ll be looking for a new one.

This is still my favorite comfort food noodles. My go to is the shredded pork noodles, but the beef tendon noodles is a close second! They usually run out of the beef tendon or Angus beef noodle soup, just a heads up!All the dumplings are great. Of course, the classic juicy pork dumplings is the common favorite. I also highly recommend the pan fried pork dumplings. If Im coming here with a few more people, I usually order the cold pickled cucumber, wood ear, or the sliced pork ear. You wont regret it.Recently, they switched over to a more modern way of ordering. You scan the QR code at the table and order with your phone, so they no longer take cash.The restaurant is quite small, with just a handful of tables, but people usually eat pretty quickly and leave so dont be intimidated if theres a bit of a line! Itll be worth it.

We were visiting the area and looking for some authentic dumplings. This was a great spot! The surrounding area and interior are simple, nothing too special, but the service and quality were great.They had no contact ordering that was super simple to use.Within moments of ordering, I already had a ice cold soda in front of me.The table was well prepared with everything you need.Everything felt super clean, not sticky or crusty like many places. It felt super fresh in there, no heavy stale food smells or anything.The pork was super tender as well!Definitely recommend

The dumplings are really delicious.The service is great regarding the food...but they dont have real menus and you have to use your personal cell phone if you want to look at the menu or order, so there isnt much wait service.Bathrooms could use an update.The music they played was loud and horrible, even had some curse words in it, but Kevin said they couldnt turn the music down, only up and couldnt change the yucky music. ☹️So, great dumplings, terrible atmosphere and they got rid of service and adopted self service qr codes which I hate due to the invasive nature and security risk it puts on phones and the terrible terrible for those of us with low battery or no phones.

Their food quality was the worst Ive ever seen - a plastic item and something that looked like insect frass were in the pickle and pork noodle. I couldnt imagine what would happen if my children or I ate those non-food items! How can a food have plastic? Do they really follow food safety SOP when they make food? Food is good, better than I expected. Dumpling skin is thicker than homemade but softness is what amazed me. Seaweed salad has the garlic and Sichuan peper oil which really are good combination and have their kick in the salad.

Terrible experience, everything is not the same as the original store. The Michelin star is a joke, it has no credibility anymore. The dine in experience is the same as take out when everything is served in plastic containers. It wont cost that much to hire dish washers and cut down on the use of plastics. It feels like eating a microwaved TV dinner no matter what they serve.

My friend ordered noddles but they dont like the noddles lol, but the noddles soup and meat heard was alright, just the plain noddles are not great.Get the soup dumplings as I did lol, wait a bit longer time but worth it. Also the pickled lotus slices tasted like Japanese style pick ginger.

I will talk about food first.I ordered noodle with no meat. The noodle soup taste was clean and texture was comfortable. It could be nice if there was no fly in a bowl. The worker worked on 9/22/22 Thursday told me the fly is not from the noodle but from the building. So his claim is that it is okay if the fly is from the building?The second dish was the pan fried dumpling. I didn’t realize at first but the juice was unnaturally too sweet.The last dish pork xiolongpao. The skin was too thick as well as the ginger slice size.The server behaving as a manager wore AirPods working and when I asked him something from my table, he didn’t look at me but raised a finger to the sky showing that he heard me but do not bother him doing arranging sauce cups. There was only two tables occupied and he acted like he is too occupied.I like trying Michelin restaurants because I can expect to have new experiences. Here the food was not that special and the service was specially not smart.Hope other customers would have better service here.* adding info. I told him it is not okay to have a fly in a bowl even though it is from the building. He answered it happened because I opened the door. Please…Lastly please put napkin a little but lose so people actually can use without effort.

Came here to try Michelin dumplings, a little bit disappointed. We had the pork, shrimp and leek dumplings, the cheese and beer dumplings and a mushroom minced pork noodles.The pork, shrimp and leek dumplings is good. Lots of meat, great aromatic leek flavor with pieces of shrimp you can see. The size of the dumplings are bigger than normal regular dumplings. The skin is not too thick. Its juicy. Its pretty good. A little pricy but everything is pricy now.However.... The cheese and beef dumplings is so so. Its a little too salty from the cheese. Its juicy but salty. The filling and the size of the dumplings is much smaller. Not impressed at all.And finally, the noodle is just not good... Pricy and small portion. Mushroom is fragrant and gave the dish a very earthy flavor, making it quite delicious. But the noodle is just bad. Overcook and lack of texture. I highly suggest the noodle next door on the left which serve big portion with great noodle.Overall, its not bad, perhaps 4 stars, but I only gave 3 stars because I felt like this place is way too overrated. The Michelin also have me expecting a much higher standard, but its quite disappointing.

Found this place back when the pandemic first started and have been ordering to go ever since. My kid absolutely LOVE their chili oil which they sell. Its a must get for her whenever we come. Dumplings are really good and prices are decent enough to get an order of everything you want to try.

Great dimpling period. Their Menu is very simple, just dumpling and noodles. If you’re a dumpling and noodle lover like me, you should definitely give them a try. Try both the noodle and pot sticker dimpling. Both are best in Arcadia. They also offer a set meal which I would say the best value for two people. The pot stickers are filled with mouth water ingredients. With one side a bit burned and crunchy, the potstickers give out great aromas that would whet your appetite. I am bit weir for liking their pig’s ear dish. This is one of my favorite Taiwanese foods, Crunchy and tasty. Besides these, their steam pork dumplings are terrific. They offer variety of fillings for dumpling. Try to sign on to the Yelp wait list as this place does get crowded during meal time.

Ive had some dumplings over the years, but I hadnt had many kinds. I had a wonderful time here. We took the tasty seaweed salad, and a few different kinds of dumplings which were all excellent. One thing which I appreciated was that although there was a wait to be seated, a waitress came up to us and took our order before we got a table, and so after sitting the food began arriving right away.

I like this place. I came here several times with my family and we enjoyed dumplings here. My favorite by far are pork soup dumplings. On weekends they usually sell out (please prep more to have enough). Staff is very friendly.

I had their combo of dry noodles with 5 pork and chives dumplings for $9.50. Everything was super salty. I had 2 of the fried pork dumplings and those were greasier than Id prefer. I ended up eating a couple bites of the noodles, which was even saltier. Bagged up the remaining noodles and ate it for another meal, but I added more things in the noodles to balance everything. Service was ok, not the best, but couldve been better. Im willing to try them again because prices were very reasonable.

Whats in a name? A dumpling by any other name would smell as sweet. Luscious dumplings - the name connotes sexual attraction if not voluptuous and rich taste. The taste is certainly very rich, and I think Im sexually attracted to most dumplings; however, the dumpling skins are far too thick. It can feel like you are chomping through a block of dough. The dumpling skin should have elegance, swaddling the filling like a newborn. Firm to the squeeze of the chopstick, but malleable to the forces of the universe. The dumplings at luscious dumplings are robust, but to me they are not luscious.For this reason, I recommend you get the noodle and dumpling combo, instead of pure dumplings. And I recommend that you stick with the classic chive pork shrimp, ya dig?

Went there for lunch on a weekday around 12:30pm and surprisingly, it was not crowded. I ordered the seaweed appetizer (big portion and quite greasy), and the fish dumpling with napa cabbage which is pan-fried. Normally, most dumpling places dont have fish dumplings so will definitely come back for that. Service was average, but was able to get in and out in less than 45 minutes.

Tiny restaurant tucked into a strip mall. We had the beef noodle soup, fried beef wontons, snd soup dumplings. Everything was delicious and came out perfectly. The beef noodle soup was one of the best I’ve had in awhile. Service was quick and friendly. If I’m ever in the area again i will definitely be back!

Dumplings, noodles and soup. We went for the dumplings and were not let down. We tried all three types of dumplings: soup, boiled, and pan-fried. The pan fried fish dumplings and the pork pan fried were our favorites along with the cabbage and shrimp boiled dumplings. The soup dumplings were just a notch below. I mean just a notch, if were rated the fried and boiled as a 10/10, the soup dumplings were a 9/10. The only drawback was that we went when the outside temp was 118 degrees Fahrenheit and I do not believe that they had a/c that handled it, if they has a/c at all. Once the weather cools off, we will return.

Was out here in Duarte taking care of some stuff and found this place to have great reviews.Waiting - Luckily when I came we only waited for about 5 min or so butbcan see them have a long wait.Venue - Regular size but limited seating due to size.Service - Wasnt bad but could improve a bit checking up a bit more often.Food - The servings where avg. and the texture and taste of the food was above avg.Price - I believe it was priced a bit higher than the norm from your similar places.Overall It was good but would like to give another spot a chance before coming back.

For a really clean dumpling taste, youve got to try this place. The flavors are sharp, and distinction from one type of dumpling to another is clear. Their dumpling skin doesnt overwhelm the taste.You can just go with aged vinegar for your sauce.

Great dumplings! The wrapper is just the right texture and firmness, and not mushy. The fillings I tried were napa cabbage and leek, and they were fragrant and tender.Noodle wise, I had the beef noodle soup. Keep in mind that this is not your traditional Taiwanese beef noodle. This was more like noodle + bowl of clear broth + braised beef (with braising liquid) all combined together. That said, it was quite delicious! Noodles were cooked al dente and the beef was tender.Recommend first timers to try out the noodle and dumpling combos to get the best of both worlds.

Prices increased again. No combo is available except for weekday lunch. For just a little bit more money, you can go the Dim Tai Fung, which is only 3 minutes away. Thats where I am going since they cancelled their combo. At least, you get what you pay for at Dim Tai Fung, which is a Michelin One Star restaurant. Theres no comparison. Obviously, they forgot the reason why they were popular. Sad.
