One of the saddest salads Ive ever eaten. Iceberg lettuce and awkwardly large slices of beef, with oddly sweet sauce. At least the corner booth was comfy and price was dirt cheap.

Absolutely love their crab puffs and tempura shrimp. They gave me a free chicken egg roll for having to wait a little bit last time and it was delicious too. Btw the wait was all of like 4 minutes, I was the only one in there at the time so I think maybe they thought it was slow but I didnt feel that way at all.

GOOD FOOD, VERY ECONOMICAL!! We recommend the #3 Combo....2 Teriyaki Meats(Chicken, Pork or Beef) Rice & Steamed Veggies. It all was cooked perfectly, meats were juicy and tender!We also tried a side of Orange Chicken, which was soggy and unappealing and a couple egg rolls, which were very crispy and delish!! We wud definately come again!! Thanks for the Great Service! Keep up the good job!

I have been going here for years to Lulu’s. The chicken has always been great. The vegetables, a little too undercooked, but today was different today the vegetables were much better the prices have virtually doubled, and the chicken was seriously overcooked to the point where it was chard to the point I was trying to tear pieces of decent chicken out of the middle of the pieces in order to eat it if I hadn’t taken it home I would’ve taken it back because I didn’t have time to go back if I’ve been eating it there I would’ve taken it up to the counter and told him to redo it.

An older structure with a slightly rundown interior and a carpet in need of replacement. The white rice and vegetables were not over cooked, the beef was a bit dry, and the chicken was juicy and tasty. The triyaki sauce was a bit thin but neither too sweet or salty. I recommend it for a quick lunch or a casual meal.

The staff here is so friendly and helpful. They food is absolutely amazing and is a pretty decent price. The store itself could use a little deep cleaning. But other than that I would completely recommend this place if you like chicken bowls.

I like this place. Many years, same people, same menu. That tells you the food is popular, the food is good, great customer service, or great prices, usually its a combination of or ALL of the above. Luus Chicken Bowl has simple,food in great variety, and a cool way to serve it up for quick, delicious, eat anywhere convience. Highly recommend.

Love Luus. Been going there 20 years or so. Great people and good food at very good prices. If you havent been there yet try it. Support a local small business instead of those national chains. Cant go wrong w affordable good food that feeds your soul. When I just want a hearty rice bowl I come to this place to fill that void. I alternate between the classic chicken bowl and the sesame chicken. It never disappoints. The quality is always consistent.

Im surprised there isnt more reviews! This place is awesome. The Chicken are cooked perfectly and the same with their Beef, its moist and juicy, not dry.. I travel to different states weekly for work and have been to all states and every corner of the 48 states, I also have eaten at many restaurants and have tried many different types of food. After eating at this place I cant think of any quick meal restaurant that can cook this well and consistent. Take my word, you will not be disappointed with their food.

Yes its grungy on the outside, but for the grilled meat, and the steamed vegetables its probably the healthiest fast food youre gonna find. That is if you dont drown it in Teriyaki sauce. I usually get a double chicken plate with no rice and double veg. I love the hot sauce here, my sister calls it Chinese salsa, and I do drown everything with it. Think of Pepper Plant Chunky Garlic mixed with some crushed tomato, and a little kimchi flavor.The fam are also big fans of the egg rolls, but every once in a while (1/10), you get a bad batch that taste off. (ie. old or burnt). Jessica was great.

Its been one of my favorite places to eat, but recently plate has been poor on food(less food), usually when youngsters are behind the counter. Today was my third time. When I callwd to ask they said that is the amount. Im a regular customer. More than 100 times I have been dining in or taking out and that is not the case. I first had Luus 15 years ago in Stockton when my BIL took me.It took 12 years before I was able to go back (Im not local), but I never forgot!Now I go to the Manteca one whenever Im close by.Grilled, teriyaki chicken, over rice with generous veg on the side. Whats not to like?

My husband and I just moved to the area. We decided to go and have lunch at this place. Service was ok, but we found hair in our food. We have two complete different types of dishes (Ginger Chicken bowl and the combo).The manager offered to remake our food but it was already too late. Make sure if you do go to this place. Check every bite you have.

I needed to use the bathroom and had considered ordering something after as a courtesy. However, the smell of their bathroom, reminiscent to me of rotten flesh and old fish, nearly had me vomit into their sink. I needed to come out into the dining room three times for fresh air, and even then, I had to use their napkins to dry my hands, rather than their air blower. My boyfriend smelled it from where is was waiting in the dining room. He told me the smell was MOLD and MILDEW (A smell he knew well from the rundown house he used to live in) and said that it was clear the smell was all over the place (I was a little nose blind from spending 6 minutes sitting in the worst of it). This made the thought of eating there downright horrifying. They need to soak the place in bleach and tear up the carpets ASAP, before someone calls the health department. Honest, theyre lucky Im only writing a very warning review rather than calling them myself. Hopefully the owners read this and change their cleaning habits before someone isnt as nice. If you get sick after eating here, now you know why. 1 star for just the blatant disregard for cleanliness, health, and safety.

This place is my second home, as I come here 4 times or more out of the week. If I dont want nasty fast food grease, I come to Luus. They are always quick, even if they are jampacked. No longer than a 10 minute wait. Although sometimes it depends whos on the grill, the OGS cook to perfection while the youngsters still need some work. The number 1, which is a chicken bowl with veggies, cabbage, and steamed white rice is my favorite. The menu is simple and easy to read and easy to choose from. So check it out, you wont regret it!

Great food, great quality, Ive never had a problem and they are very friendly. I eat a lot of food at times, my favorite after I have a good training session is 2 number 3 combos which is beef and chicken with their steamed brocolli and carrots and steamed rice, and there is very little fat most of the time and Ive never gotten sick or nautious from their food.

Use to be great in the mud 2000s, but now its terrible. My rice had nasty boil water flavor, veggies were not hot but warm, the chicken was old, it was rubbery and lacked flavor.Indoors was dirty, napkins littered the floor, the soda machines were sticky and had puddles scattered. The trays that held condiments had sauce stains.Gross. Never again.

The food was sub-par and had very little taste. There are no options when it comes to rice. Its white rice or forget it. They also give you way too much rice and very little food in comparison to the rice they give. Vegetables are not chopped and are just huge chunks of like cabbage stalk plopped on your plate. Finding anything healthy here that is not fried, battered, or douced and dripping in sauces is like finding a needle in a desert sand storm. Good luck.
