If you want a unique experience this is the place to go.The owners are amazing people, and it shows in their staff. They have the passion and the love of what they do. They are the best staff when it comes to knowledge and customer service.We have been members for 10 years, yet every time it seems that it’s a different experience.Keep up the great effort. This is what Paso is about.

We had such a great time here. The wine was excellent but more importantly, Troy, our wine host was just wonderful. He had so much detail and information that he shared with us, it was an incredible experience. We did the cheese and spice pairing and I really recommend that as its probably like nothing youve tried before. A very unique experience. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you again Troy!

LXV recently hosted us for a team tasting and spice pairing at their vineyard property. No review could give them justice for this experience. The wines were incredibly balanced, soft and so refreshing. A rare gem in Paso. The spice pairings elevated each wine in such unique ways and pushed the boundaries of food and wine. Their warmth, hospitality, and professionalism was exceptional. The charm and ambiance they create is magical. Do not miss this one.

I have been to tastings at LXV three times, two times at the vineyard, which is so rustic and lovely, and once at the downtown tasting shop. I have never been disappointed with their wines, their service or their friendliness. Check them out.

LXV did not disappoint! As an innkeeper in wine country, I’m always looking for unique experiences to share with our guests. After hearing the buzz about LXV wines for some time, and then seeing Edible SLO Magazine’s multi-page spread on the Diwali Festival featuring LXV owners, I was anxious to pay a visit and try for myself. Did it live up to all the hype? YES - For so many reasons! My friends and I were greeted warmly by Anna, our knowledgeable and attentive wine host, and we were allowed to choose to sit inside our outside for our tasting. We found the wine flight and spice pairing option to be reasonably priced at $40 ($25 waived with purchase). We’ve done plenty of wine tasting, but this elevated experience is unlike any other. The wines are exceptional, the spice blends intriguing, and there was plenty learned about the way different spices can enhance the nuances of the flavors of each wine. I highly recommend visiting LXV, but be warned: between the wines, the spices, and the events they offer, you will want to join their club!

Did my fair share of research and wanted to go here. At the very last minute, I had to walk in and cancel my appointment since my wife did not feel well. The owners were super nice and accommodating. I can see how the other guests were really enjoying the cosy ambiance. Will definitely come next time!

I did enjoy the nice and quiet tasting room downtown. The staff are very knowledgeable and dealt with my serious lack of knowledge and probably silly questions in a professional way. The spice combo with the wine tasting is also something I’ve never tried before so definitely bonus points for that.

These wines are as elegant and friendly as the winerys owners. I am a devoted visitor of LXV. My husband and I stumbled upon the tasting room in downtown Paso. The deeply jewel toned walls drew us in, but the wines keep us coming back. Every time we pass through or stay in Paso Robles, LXV is a visit we insist upon. One time, we had a reservation on a day that was too hot for the tasting room. We were called and asked if we would like to have our tasting at the LXV Ranch. Of course we jumped at that offer, and it was one of our top five experiences wine tasting, so far. It was truly magical! We were even visited by a Blue Jay that was looking for nibbles. You cant go wrong with LXV. Stop by and see for yourself.

In an area with lots of places to taste wine, its easy to see why its hard to stand out. LXV definitely stands out. Terrific wine and very friendly and informative staff. But the tasting experience makes it very memorable. Pay the extra for the cheese tasting menu. It includes a selection of spiced cheeses that pair perfectly with the wines. So good. They even have the spice mixes available for purchase. Great little outdoor covered patio and very cute inside. Dog Friendly.

Awesome wine and even better service!! The spiced cheese pairing was such a cool and unique way to experience their wines. If youre visiting Paso Robles for wine tasting, make sure to stop here! You can choose to pair the wine tasting with a cheese plate dusted with their homemade spice blends - its such a cool experience and so unique. Great wines, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere make this a great place to visit while downtown. Definitely make sure to make a reservation though so you can get in.

This experience stands out as one of the best and unique tastings that I have been too (which is quite a few lol). You will also be supporting an amazing Indian woman - probably the first in this business - she is amazing. You definitely need to book a tasting in advance.

The most wonderful morning! Our group did a wine tasting in the barn at the vineyard. It was a beautiful place to taste the best wine we tried that day. The pairings with cheese spiced with their spice blends complemented the wine so well. I highly recommend this wine and the vineyard.

This little corner of wine country was a delightful stop. The wine was paired with cheeses that were coated with spices and herbs to bring out the individual characteristics of each wine sampling poured. The herbs and/or spices dusted on the different cheeses were creative and a bit of a surprise. I learned more about the different elements that bring out the distinct personality of each wine.

There is a lot to like about LXV. The staff is wonderful and the owners are often present. The wines are very structured and low in tannins, so if you dont like how harsh wine can be sometimes, this is a good place to try. The normal tasting is $20 and the tasting paired with spiced cheeses (which I think you should do if youre there because its unique to them) is $30.They lose a star for their prices. The tasting is on the high side and it isnt immediately deducted with purchase. The bottles are also high compared to similar bottles we had from the area.Also, its in town so if youre staying nearby you can walk to it. I recommend doing your tasting in the outside patio if weather and crowds permit.

After wine tasting in the area and on a Cab Franc hunt, a couple of the wineries (Austin Hope and Daou) recommended LXV. This looked like the go to place. My party was waiting for a table at Fish Gaucho (great place for lunch or dinner) and I thought Id scoot over with a buddy to LXV. Beautiful wines, great intimate location and incredibly welcoming. Although they had sold out of their 2017 they had just released their 2020 Reserve from the Portico Hills Vineyard. When I have more time, well definitely be going back.

This tasting room is like no other. Its not just about great wine (it is great wine), it is about how the wine pairs with some amazing spices. The tasting comes with four wines and four spices, and the pairings of the flavors will blow you away. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. And the wine is remarkable. It may look like another tasting room, but its not. This place is something special.

An unassuming location in a small plaza with easy parking, Nick was wonderfully welcoming, professional, knowledgable, and engaging. Six of us went to the Friday night deconstructing wine and pairing workshop on April 15. Hunter, our guide, was wonderful and was able to explain things really well. It gave us a different perspective on pairing wine and food because we always think “big red” when eating a steak, and this taught us to be mindful about what the dominant flavors are, and not just focus on the meat. One of our group was not a wine drinker, but he enjoyed learning about how wine can enhance or detract from food. That was not something he had ever thought about. The flyer with the pairing tips was a great take-away also. We enjoyed our evening so much, we forgot to take a photo. Definitely a wonderful experience!

Set up a reservation for a wine pairing and tasting for 8 with Troy Tucker for my wifes birthday and it was a huge success. Troy had such great advice and insight into the wine world. We did wine and cheese pairings that challenged our pallet and he shared information that changed how we fundamentally understood wine origins! The whole crew were delightful and eager to help. Not a pleasant experience or maybe we went on the wrong time.1. Took a video of how wine tasting experience but host seems irritated and obviously not fond of someone taking video. She should have told us the first time that video is not allowed. She even quickly asked and checked my phone what’s on the video.2. Everybody served water in fine glass but us, and when asked if we can get water we were served in cheap clear plastic soft disposable cups.3. Now maybe she got irritated coz I’m wearing a souvenir NYPD baseball cap and I was asked why I’m wearing it. Even joking sarcastically I’m wearing it maybe to scare people. I was like whats wrong with this lady. Its just a cap and I dont want to be political.4. We’ve been to 2 other wineries that day and both we had a blast and no toxic environment. Bottles for reds and whites cost +$30 but here $65 a bottle.5. Kudos though, the Indian owner went out and greeted us earlier on our table and she seems very nice and even graciously told us short story why she acquired ownership of the wineries and the tastes behind the pairing cheeses served. We like her but other than that it was not a pleasant experience. We still left good tip to the host server if you will ask.

We loved our wine tasting experience at LXV! It is one of a kind! We love spices, cheese and wine AND we are women from India so we had to support Neeta. We would have loved to meet her in person but she wasn’t there on that day. We especially loved that we had the whole blue room to ourselves for our party of 6. (One of our party had to miss it so we were refunded her fee). Our instructor was very pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and eager to answer our questions. It was a very memorable experience with the cheese/spice pairings. We will definitely recommend LXV to our friends who visit Paso Robles. Thanks again

Our experience at LXV Winery was spectacular. We were greeted with a private room, tasting and the spice pairing at their downtown location. Neeta, the owner, led us on a journey of each wine to a level we hadnt experienced before. Hunter also joined in with his expertise and he was great. The wines are beautiful and each is expressive of the varietal and region. This is a must for your next trip to Paso.

We discovered this place on my first visit to Paso; instantly became a member and have been happy with LXV and my membership ever since. What makes this place special, besides the great wines, is that they pair the wines with fantastic spice blends. We stumbled upon this gem after lunch. Very intimate and quaint. Love the 2015 Reserve Cabernet Franc. Great service. Great price for a tasting. If youre ever in downtown Paso, its a must visit. Ask for Nicole, she was so kind and knowledgeable. She also recommended other places we should check out while in Paso. They also do a wine and spice experience, highly recommend. This was my return visit to LXV. I just love this winery! Unique and absolutely classy.Wine paired with cheese covered in a variety of spices just adds to the overall atmosphere of LXV, which is somewhat different from other wineries - the seating is both bar and lounge style with hints of Asian culture. Blue-colored walls create the ambiance of serenity, and comfortable cushiony seating allow the whole group to gather together instead of trying to have a conversation at the bar.Our host was friendly and welcoming. He was knowledgeable about wines and spices and answered all our questions.

I have been a member of this wine club for a year now and I absolutely love the pairings of the spices with the cheese and wines. We did a wine and spice flight and loved it. Nicole was a great host and explained the pairings of wine and cheese thoroughly.My favorite pairing was the 2017 lovers spell with umami spice. The umami spice was amazing!!Reserve cab franc was also amazing. No mixes so that was a huge plus.Highly recommend this wine/bar if you are in the area!

My rating is 4.5. Lovely, simple location. Indoor and outdoor tasting possible. Wines are pretty good. Pairings with spice on cheese was unique and made the trip worth it. The wine tasting involves 4 reds only. Wine tasting is $15 and the cheese with spice is $10. That makes for a rather expensive tasting. The wines are also quite pricey. Thats the only reason I would take off a half star.

We love to visit the LXV Tasting Room to round out any good day of wine tasting. The Tasting Room is usually open a little later than most of the other wineries in the area and they are located in downtown Paso Robles, which makes for a great transition from wine tasting to a nice dinner at a local restaurant. Neeta (the owner) takes the time to explain the tasting notes for her wine and offers some really special spice tastings to compliment her delicious wine. We highly recommend LXV!

White wine advertised with peach aroma. Even peach syrup smells less like peach. The reds are alcoholic without length in the mouth. All these “grand crus” tasted for only $25 (free tastings in France) and hold on, count on $80 to buy a bottle (which would be worth a maximum of $15 in France) at least the waiter is very nice and has the right words to sell your wine…
