Saw their review on Redbook so I decided to give them a try. I am very picky about meat quality and softness of meat. I’m pretty much what you call a Foodie. Their lamb shank and ribs were really good and really soft. Will definitely be back really good food quality here. Using high quality Halal Lamb meat here.

This lamb rib is soooo good. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic. He patiently introduce the menu to me and recommend me to try lamb rib. I have tried many lambs before but never really liked any. I thought lambs all have a strange smell. But this really surprised me. It’s so tender and soft. There’s no strange smell or strange taste at all. I have never tried such lamb rib like this. The yogurt is also really surprising. It’s not too sweet, and the fruits and nuts inside made it taste even better. The owner offered me a free cappuccino ice-cream which was also really good. It’s really surprising that a restaurant could have done so perfectly in all detailed aspects. The atmosphere in restaurants is very chill and clean. I would definitely visit again to try the lamb shank! Looking forward to other new up coming dishes!

I had the tenderest lamb at M Joys hand-pulled lamb rice, reportedly using New Zealand lamb. The melt-in-your-mouth lamb chops offered a unique taste I had never experienced before, honestly surpassing many Middle Eastern versions. Also, as someone who usually avoids carrots, I found myself thoroughly enjoying the lamb fat-infused carrot rice, which was irresistibly delicious! The salty milk tea was just as good as what I had in Inner Mongolia, without the cloying sweetness of typical sweet milk teas. The yogurt is also a must-try; it isnt overly sweet, retaining the natural tartness of the yogurt while the dried fruits complement the rich, creamy flavor without overpowering it. Definitely order the lamb chops, salty milk tea, and yogurt!Plus, the handsome and young owner personally assisted with opening the bottle cap, adding a special touch to their already excellent service! I might just become a regular at this place.

The lamb chop rice in the restaurant is very delicious, the meat is very tender, and the lamb leg rice is also delicious! As a person who is biased against mutton, this lamb chop has no smell at all, which completely changed my perception of mutton. It is recommended for men or those with a big appetite to order the deluxe set meal, which includes lamb chops and lamb legs, which can be very filling! Their side dishes are also delicious, my favorite is the onion side dishes, and my friend thinks the shredded carrots are also very delicious. Its delicious. Of course, the chili oil is the soul. Its not very spicy but very fragrant. The yogurt in the dessert is very authentic and has the taste of hometown. The ice cream is also very good, I had the Oreo flavor. The store manager is super Enthusiastic, I really recommend everyone to try it! It is the best mutton rice I have ever eaten in the United States.

A little cozy restaurant specializing in lamb shank/ribs polu or pilaf. The lamb is really well cooked, tender and juicy, not smell like lamb (not gamey) at all! And the rice is flavorful too. Their portion is big enough that we didnt finish our plates. Free side dishes include 🥒, onion and carrot, oh their chili oil is a great addition to the lamb and rice. I would recommend you pull all the meat and mix them with chili oil and some sides, then use your hand or spoon to enjoy. The owner is a warm hearted young man who tries to accommodate all your needs.

A lot of lamb for the prices of a little over twenty, honestly the best lamb place to hit in town and I’d recommend to anyone because it’s tender and soft, easy to chew and probably going above your expectations. I got a free drink because they recently opened up the perks probably will stick there too when you visit. 5/5 for food and service I dont write reviews often but this one really deserves more flowers!

Best lamb in OC! The Lamb Rib is a must. Haven’t had good lambs in the US but this really takes me back to Mongolia where the most tender and flavored lamb is served. The food also came out super fast, and service is great!

M Joy is a delightful restaurant with exceptional lamb. The aromas are captivating when you walk in the door! Traditional dishes from Western China are delicious and will appeal to everyone who likes lamb. Everything is lovingly homemade from quality ingredients. Kinsey (not sure of the spelling) is a gracious host and attentive server. Seating is comfortable, with inside and outside tables. Presentation is nice with colorful sides in separate dishes and tea served in a stoneware pot. I can’t wait to take my husband there this weekend :-)
