Grand opening, the foods is pretty bad. The buns is hard, not fresh, seems like it was from days before and was heated in a microwave. The soup noodle has no flavor. The beef chao fun, the noodle is not fresh, kind of hard, not much flavor and dont taste the wok hee. Indonesian pancake, the curry, Humm? This is really not my kind of place

This place was so amazing!!! Flawless in my standards!! It was clean, the service was soooo good (both of the servers were super kind and friendly, communicative, and smiling the whole time), the food came out relatively quick and they were all piping hot!Given the huge portion, I think the pricing is fairly reasonable. We ordered three dishes but it could’ve fed 4-5 people. We came home with lots of leftovers! The eggplant dish was sooo good! I love how the skin was still somewhat crispy and the inside “meat” was extremely tender and soft. The garlicky sauce went perfectly well with the eggplants. The kung pao and three cup squid were also really good!Would love to go back and try other dishes. I’m drooling just thinking about it!The restaurant is located in a small strip mall with parking space.

Everything we tried on the menu was really good. The duck, lamb, pork, shrimp really complemented each other very well. However, the waiters almost exclusively speak Chinese so it might not be so accesible to some people.

Tasty House authentic Taiwanese cuisine the best that Ive ever eaten. Second time eating here and its been great so far. As always I ordered the West Lake style beef soup, and the smoked tea duck and crispy soybean sea bass fillet and this one is so good, and House special fried rice was also good. This place is a little pricey but you get every Pennys worth. I think this is one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I live an hour and a half from this restaurant, its worth driving for thats how good it is. So if you havent tried eating here yet I suggest you try it I know youll love it. Its become one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Although the location is bit hidden from the main road, but this restaurant that offers authentic Taiwanese food still attracts us to give a try. Steamed Sea Bass Fillets (清蒸鱈魚) and Sautéed Pork Intestines w/ Pickled Cabbage (五更昌旺) are excellent. Will come again.

Stellar service from the staff - they gave good recommendations, checked in on us regularly, and offered some of the chefs special chili oil on the side. Highly recommend the dry pot cauliflower (if you love spicy food) and the three cup chicken!

We have been going to this shopping mall on the corner of Las Tina’s and San Gabriel, for dining with other restaurants for a awhile. We noticed there is a new restaurant opened and decided to give it a try.The foods were very tasty but with hits and misses. We love the Taiwan style fried vermicelli and vegetables and egg plants. These two dishes are full of flavors and wok Hei. I believe they are in par with the ones we had in Taiwan. On the other hand, the house especial tea smoked duck is a disappointment. I didn’t taste any tea smoke flavor in the duck. Instead tender and full of tea smoke flavor, the duck was dried and oily as it was fried instead of smoked and steamed as in the traditional way of preparing the duck by most of the Chinese restaurants. This duck dish is called Zhangcha duck, tea-smoked duck, or simply smoked duck (literally: 樟茶鸭 zhāngchá yā, camphor-tea duck) is perhaps THE quintessential dish of Sichuan cuisine. It is prepared by hot smoking a marinated duck over tea leaves and twigs of the camphor plant. Due to its complicated preparation, zhangcha duck is eaten more often in banquets or festive events than as a daily household item. I guess with the limited time to prepare this dish for lunch, the restaurant simply just fried the duck and garnished it with some shredded scallion and brought it out as Tea Smoked duck from Taiwan.Anyway, for those of you just want to try some good Chinese food from different regions, this is one of the places to dine. The prices here for lunch are reasonable. The food tasted decent.

I don’t know what to say other than WOW. Like the fried red pork here is so amazing I haven’t had any this good since I’ve been to Taiwan. The staff and owners are so nice and friendly and go out of their way to make the food and experience amazing going to become a regular here.

First of all the reviews for this place is for the restaurant that previously occupied this space. The new restaurant has absolutely terrible service and food. They first didn’t clean our table, then took a while to take our order. They then forgot parts of our order. We ordered a noodle dish and asked us if they could replace the noodles with vermicelli because they ran out of noodles. Out of five dishes it was all unseasoned. Definitely not worth ~$15 per dish.
