Mackys Noodle House in Monrovia

Mackys serves up some tasty dishes. We ordered their fried rice cake, rice rolls, and seafood noodle soup. Their portions are huge!The rice roll with peanut sauce was by far our favorite of the three dishes. The fried rice cake with egg was pretty good as well. As for the noodle soup, the broth was a bit bland. We had to spice the broth up with their house satay sauce, which made it decent.Overall, Mackys is a good value spot.

Delicious! Portions were incredibly substantial. Very very filling. Came in with a group of 12 of us for a family brunch Sunday afternoon. Everything tasted great, great flavors. And very reasonable prices. I tried the daily special which includes a choice of noodle and 2 toppings, a protein and rice bowl, and choice of drink! Service was wonderful, efficient but patient with all of us.

Amazing Chiuchow fare in Monrovia. Everything weve tried here is spot on. Friendly staff, generous portions. I really hope they dont change! Highly recommend their house special noodle soup, beef satay and chow fun.

Amazing Home Style Two Chew Food. I believe the Owners are Two Chew from Vietnam.Server was the younger dude with glasses, very professional and thoughtful in explaining my options.Restaurant was very clean. Strip mall setting but once you walk inside, the interior decor felt like being in Europe or inside an IKEA.Restroom was super clean and nice.I thought it sucked that CNN was on their TVs, lol.My Food came out rather quickly which is always good. Food was Fresh and Delicious.I went with their Specialty Dish which was the House Noodle with Thin Egg Noodles. I got it Dry Noodle Style with Soup on the side.Its perfect with the Green Chili & Chew Chow Sauce Chili Condiments already on the tables.I also went with the Chew Chow Pancake which was pretty good. Id normally have it with Rice but, am currently watching my carb intake.I rounded out My Dinner some Plum+Soda (7up & Plum) which is a cool typical Vietnamese funky drink usually served at Vietnamese Coffee Shops.It got REALLY busy and packed as I was ending my meal so the Lady ended up serving me at the end, as the guy who originally Served me was tending to all the different tables of Families and Seniors. All Good. Totally sweet lady.TIP THEM WELL, because they do tend to customers as they should.All in all, great delicious quality food & good customer service, Im definitely coming back real soon to try the rest of their amazing menu.

This restaurant has great varieties of authentic Cantonese/ chaozhou food. Whenever I have comfort food attack, I would come to this place to fill up. Today, we ordered take out lunch at Macky noodle. No indoor dining yet. They still have the day of the week special. Everyday features a dish at a special price. Not enticed by the specials, We decided to order the combo with shredded chicken, fish ball and thin noodle. The deal comes with a drink as well. We also ordered their house special chow fen. Normally, this dish is very tasty with rice noodle but this time, with the thin narrow noodle, the dish seemed to be a missed. Something is missing, didn’t taste the same. Well, our meal was not completed without their house special fried rice cake. This dish is my wife’s favorite. With the diced dried pickled turnip, the fried rice cake tasted delicious. We had a good lunch today.

Good service, food, and prices. They even have optional small sizes for the noodle soups if youre not that hungry! The beef stew noodle soup was very good as was the beef chow fun. Definitely a unique mix of foods and regional Chinese food, so theres plenty more to try coming back.

I like the atmosphere, modern and clean!They have a variation of noodles to choose from and daily special. A nice little sauce bar with soy sauce, satay sauce, hoisin and green chili!The chopsticks and napkins can be found inside the table drawers at each table.Service was fast and very friendly. Parking is at your luck!

Come support this small business. Same type of food like Kim Ky on San Gabriel without the wait. Plenty of parking spaces. They have combi specials and daily specials.

Friendly. Waiters and waitresses smile when talking to you. Food is awesome. Portion is huge for what it costs. Will visit again.
