We saw the play Chinese lady. This simple, elegant production was thought provoking, captivating performance and at a very reasonable price. Will go back to see more plays.

2022-04-22 01:30:37Go enjoy an evening out with family and or friends. Fort Mason is a cultural and arts center right on the San Francisco Bay. I saw Intimate Apparel. The Director has amazing taste and chose a legendary venue to host this outstanding play. A must see historic site in San Francisco, California.

2018-05-01 20:10:57Ive come to 2 plays at The Magic Theater, both by Jessica Hagedorn, and both really high quality. Excellent sound and set design and I like the black box feel as an audience member. Really appreciate that they do Filipino-themed works! Just wish you didnt have to pay for evening parking in Fort Mason... Adds another $10 to your evening.

2008-11-13 18:51:00The Magic Theatre is a nice, intimate theatre for a small audience. I watched a nice play there. I parked far away outside, because I didnt realize that you could drive in and park close to the theatre.

2019-10-20 06:14:33Very enjoyable theater with a nice lounge area, good selection of food and drink (and you can bring them into the theater!). Easy parking and restaurants nearby for pre show refreshments.
