I made the mistake of ordering something other than a hot dog. The tri-tip sandwich was not good. It was so grity I couldnt even eat it all. Next time Ill order a hot dog.Veteran discounts! Cook products, Fountain drinks, some can drinks are also available.

Love this little place. I can’t imagine downtown without it. My favorite is the garlic sausage. Staff is very friendly and service is fast. I sometimes pop in here for a quick and delicious lunch. Serving sizes are very generous and often more than I can eat in one meal. They have a nice variety of items on their menu and prices are super reasonable. It’s a yes for me.

A staple of Turlock~ always good. Plenty of choices and they can modify items for you. I order without the bun, double the dog. They cut it up in a banana boat with all the toppings. Excellent! Not just hotdogs there...

First time having a meal at this location after multiple recommendations of a little hole in the wall style eatery. Presentation, Atmosphere and Service were all absolutely top notch! The food was fantastic, the menu was diverse with a large selection despite being advertised as a hot dog joint. Definitely will make return trips to try some of their creations! Thanks so much for a fantastic first visit!

The customer service is terrible. One of the female staff that worked near the window was very disrespectful. She had a disrespectful tone. The wait took about 35 minutes. The drinks were good. If you don’t like your job find something else.

We had a #3 Chili Footer and #13 Portuguese Linguica both were just ok. Nothing bad but not great. Positives we didnt leave hungry nothing really negative. May have to try others on menu one day but not a priority in my opinion.

Great little hole in the wall. A staff member that just retired was visiting and she started clearing our table. We told her she didnt have to do that but insisted and we were greatful. This just goes to show what kind of people built this place and also what kind of place youll be dining with. Will definitely be coming back again.

I’m very disappointed. I was first in line, the owner took my order. After that there was a big line. She got everyone’s food out before mine, I waited a good 25 minutes for my food. And the food was very sloppy, and not cooked well! The owner was just very rude! Will not be going back again!

Great local place to grab a hot dog. Great dogs sandwiches and salads . Good service . Only one bad thing is the lines and wait. This place gets busy especially lunch time. Its all worth the wait. Avoid the line by going before lunch and after lunch. Limited parking as well . Everything is reasonably priced.

The office decided to get lunch and Footers was selected.Reuben - Was good. Only drawback? The bread wasnt quite large enough for all the toppings.Plan to spend about $10 per person for some fairly tasty food, and a scoop of side dish.We will be back.

It was really good, just a tip but the Chicago dog and the Wisconsin dog are basically the same thing, just the Wisconsin has cheese and no peppers but the Chicago has no cheese but has peppers.10/10 would recommend!

Amazing customer service amazing food sometimes it does have a little bit of a line but they get through it quick not too expensive its all made in front of you did I mention how great their customer service is all the ladies and gentlemen in there have a smile on their face whenever Ive gone. Theyve also memorized my daughters favorite thing to get there chips and nachos with a side of pickles and my daughter will grab a chip out put a pickle on it and go to town so they give her extra hahaha. I always get one of the Red Bull infusions which is like a slushie infused with Red Bull theyre freaking amazing and they have multitude of flavors that you can mix and match. Did I mention the great customer service.

Food is good, but the customer service has always left something to be desired. If youre a regular, theyre great. If youre not, they act like youre bothering them. That has been my experience with them literally for years. They never wore masks at the height of the pandemic and they still dont.

Left California 6 years ago. Took a trip back for the only things worth coming back for. Family/friends and food. This spot is #1 on the list for food. We used to live a few blocks and ate here once a week. Nothing has changed.Quality food. Mac salad is amazing. I love their casper style dogs, my wife and daughter go for the deli dog. Employees are super friendly, the place just has a great vibe. If you enjoy a hot dog, dont miss this place.

Main Street Footers has always had terrific, fresh food. Their hot dog menu is well known throughout the region. The most important thing about Main Street Footers is who they are. If I was writing a book about good people running good businesses in America, Main Street Footers would have their own chapter. They are the best small business I know, and I dont just go there because the food is excellent. They are excellent.

First time going there. My girlfriend and I were looking fir a place to eat in a nearby town, and we came across this place online. They have a great selection of hot dogs and sandwiches, all at reasonable prices. The service was great, food delicious, and the milkshakes incredible! We drove 40 minutes to get there, and it was worth it. I highly recommend Main Street Footers.

I’m not sure why this place has the reviews it does. It’s not bad, but it’s not amazing either. The food tastes like when you buy a pack of hot dogs at the grocery store and put toppings on it. You’re pretty much just paying for the convenience of not making the hot dog yourself, but the food doesn’t involve skill or anything particularly special. You can make it at home with minimal effort. Also the workers seem unhappy to be here.If I’m paying almost $10 for a hot dog, I’m going to Krepe Dog, which actually has original ideas, good service, and good quality ingredients.

Nothing fancy but clean and fun with a happy upbeat staff,its always a pleasure to stop in for my favorite dog. There is a special of the day offering and lots of sides and snacks to choose from. Plenty of beverages also. Handicapped accessible but parking during the lunch rush especially can be a hassle so be aware of that. Downtown can be challenging during peak hours.The steam technique they use does so much for the flavor of the dog. They also steam the bun and make it all up fresh daily. The menu offers many favorites or pick and choose your toppings.

Extremely rude staff. I contacted the business via phone call right after leaving I noticed my order was incorrect. I went back in to have it corrected and the Hispanic female who has worked there for years made the order incorrectly a total of 3xs being disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. I was in shock at the entire experience. The Manager is not nice and didnt follow through with assistance to correct the incidents. Extremely horrible service and the food is low quality compared to previous years. We will not be doing business with this place ever again.

Very nice outdoor area, cute little place. I was a little underwhelmed by the quality and taste. The hot dog was only warm, kinda limp and bland. The toppings were sort of just piled on and falling off, cheese was not melted, bun was not steamed and kinda just fell apart. My husband and I are hot dog experts, so it was kind of a disappointing. The Chicago dog was not a Chicago dog. No celery salt, no cucumbers, no pickle spear, no sport peppers. Bummer.

Was just across the street getting my watch battery replaced when I came across this gem of a place. Debated if I really wanted to eat but decided I had an hour to kill and went inside. Was instantly greeted with a warm welcome with no rush to order I looked at their vast menu of hotdogs. Who knew you could have them so many different ways. Although parking may be a pain at times trying this place was well worth it. Tried the #8 which I believe was the western bacon cheese dog and it was amazing. I was shocked to see the size (considering other hotdog places) that it wasnt child size. Bacon was deliciously crispy, bun was super soft, bbq sauce on point, and cheese loaded and melty. Super happy I decided to come and try it out. I also got a cookie and a brownie on the way out and were delectable as well.

Footers is Turlocks and nobody elses. Service is ALWAYS great, the hot dogs are of course the staple. But dont sleep on their salads. The chicken salad is huge, hearty and delicious. It is a meal in itself. Huge salad with lots of chicken breast. If you will in Turlock, youve had Footers. If youre visiting or passing through, pass on the casual dining franchise places and drive downtown Main Street to Footers.
