This would normally not be a place I would stop but my options were limited... and Im so thankful I went. Its small and hugely friendly! My hubby had grilled chicken bowl and claimed it as best ever.If you visit Old Town Main Street in Lake Elsinore... this is a great find! Try to get booth at their windows to the street... dinner and people watching are the best!

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I came on a Wednesday afternoon a couple weeks ago and felt it was worth trying again.The restaurant has three outside tables and on my first visit I had sufficient service.Today I ordered drinks and asked for table service outside. The server said, “alright”. When handed the bill for the drinks I left more than was needed and proceeded to my table. Service ended there.The hostess did not bring menus nor my change. As I waited other customers were seated and promptly provided menus. Perhaps they are under staffed, but after being ignored I told server service was not acceptable. She did apologize and offered my change back. I cannot recommend this restaurant after that experience.This restaurant needs to get a server able to handle the three outside tables or get rid of their outside dining. When did it become acceptable for a server to keep the change when a customer asks for patio dining?

Great food my favorite appetizer would be the brussel sprouts 😋 Im so happy this restaurant is just down the street from me and I can stop by anytime. They also have outside seating so you can bring the fur babies. And then for dessert you can just go next door for some ice cream 💕 such great energy and drinks.

Since being in Italy I’m on the hunt for affordable and easily accessible authentic Italian pizza. The few pictures of pizza I could see at MSK egged me on. Upon arrival although very busy they were able to seat my partner and I within a few minutes. The server can almost immediately to check in on drink. When the water was delivered they asked for food order. The pizza took a liiiiiiiiiyle bit longer then expected in comparison to recent wood-fired pizza experiences. Nothing outrageous, it came we ate all probably within in hour or hour and half. I asked for extra basil and they succeeded! I have never been given so much extra basil upon request. I was practically in tears. The flavor was great. The crust consistency was b out exactly what I was looking for, a little too thin. Overall, pizza was awesome but not what I was seeking .1 10-inch Margherita Pizza is $18. All specialty pizza options about $20-25 average.

I had the ribs and they were delicious. The meat was tender fall off the bone. You have your choice of two sides I choose the house salad and garlic mashed potatoes. The picture of the potatoes are their mashed potatoes. There was only one person working and she hustled. Our wait wasn’t even long. We were impressed. My significant other had the Philly steak sandwich but was already eating it before I could take a picture. Good food.

Gourmet food! You might wonder about the diversity of the menu, having everything from pizza to salmon to ribs to Jambalaya to Chinese style orange chicken. But amazingly, the chef perfectly executes every single one of those dishes from scratch. Even the Ahi Tuna appetizer is totally fresh and delicious. You can tell the chef takes pride in his work. I recommend every single dish on the menu. Delicious!

I was visiting for a week and needed a place to eat throughout my days. I frequented main Street kitchen at least once a day while I was in town. The food was pretty good, the atmosphere was really unique to the area which was cool. The service was okay. I think that they need to have more on staff during their lunch and dinner rushes. Other than that I will be back next time Im in town!

Surprisingly good. I see why a lot of people come here. We chose this spot as a halfway point between my mother-in-law and where we were at to exchange for our house puppy. We had lots of food and sat outside and it was a gorgeous day. All the food was exceptional. I would eat here anytime. Highly recommended. If you come on Sunday, they have a farmers market across the street. Quite nice 👍

I really like this place. Lake Elsinore is FILLED with Mexican restaurants (not a bad thing), so it is nice to find a place that has a nice variety of foods from pizza to steaks, salmon to salads. The staff is always friendly, and the food is always good.

One of my fave places in old town Lake Elsinore. Food is great. The Texas Egg Rolls are an absolute must every time we visit and so far most of the menu has been great. The French Dip, Jambalaya, and fries are also favorites. The staff is always friendly and we never have to wait for a table, even though its rather small. Sadly they seem to often have staffing issues so hours are unpredictable. Not much of a drinker so cant speak to the alcohol here though the wine selection is limited.

Went there based off the 5 star reviews and left pretty disappointed.Calamari was over cooked and dry. Kids had a cheese pizza, but it had zero flavor. I had the French Dip that was the epitome of Just OK.Service was fantastic. Our server was prompt and came by often.Atmosphere was your standard Gastro Pub, but the food didnt live up to that standard.

So, this was the place chosen by a co worker to exchange gifts. I order two fish tacos with a glass of Merlot. The wine was priced at $7.25 and the tacos was $12.25. The wine was served in an unclean glass. I sent it back and received a cleaner glass. The tacos was a hidden piece of fish, hidden in a what is suppose to be fried in beer batter. It was topped with some kind of salad that was unappealing. And then, it was all placed on a soggy corn tortilla. After taking it all apart, I ate the something called beer batter fish and the tortilla chips and salsa that came with the order.Now, here is the worst part of it all. The check came and I was over charged $2.00 for the wine. When brought to the waitress attention, she told me that she could not change the price in the register. Then with an attitude she said that she would give me the two dollars from her pocket. Which she did not. Maybe because I was not leaving a tip for the distasteful food, a dirty wine glass and bad service. To top it all off, she added two items on a co workers check that she did not order. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. Definitely, will not be returning.

Called ahead to inquire if they were serving corned beef today(its St. Patricks Day). The guy who answered the phone said: yeah, some. ..its first come first serve. I had to ask questions to get any more information from this person who has the customer service skills of a dirty dish rag. He asked me to hold to get info on a question I had and never came back to the phone. I could hear him chatting with someone....some of it business related, but most was social conversation...and still he never came back to the phone. Having no reason to think our dining experience would be any better, our party of peeps took our business elsewhere. Ive heard good things about this establishment, but now Im not so certain Ill patronize. Maybe this is an isolated fail....but you may want to ensure your staff has the engage skills essential to this industry and entice customers with your food, not be lack luster.....that can bring a business down quick.

This place has a fantastic beer selection with quite a few local brews. The food is crafted very well with lots of flavor and fresh ingredients. I usually go back and forth between the kobe burger and the orange peel chicken, but their pizzas are also delicious. For an appetizer, you cant go wrong with the zucchini fries.

Everything about our lunch experience was fantastic. Wife and I had Cowboy Eggrolls, Brussels sprouts (no bacon) & Calamari. This is truly not a review on the friendliness and cleanliness of the restaurant. The beer selection is scarce when there are great local breweries nearby. The food... was absolutely bland and not worth the money. Very simple dishes that with a little more tlc wouldve popped. I went here because of the reviews and I was terribly underwhelmed. We had the boneless buffalo chicken wings and the calamari. The bread to meat ratio for both items was on point. I usually opt out of boneless wings because theyre over breaded. We moved to Lake Elsinore about 6 years ago and one day found the MSKT. It has been our go to place ever since. It is a comfort food restaurant with a great menu. The food is always prepared fresh while you enjoy a full service bar with plenty of craft beers on tap. The waitstaff are very friendly and always find a minute to inquire about you and your family. The cold veggies seemed out of place on a hot pizza... The veggies tasted good by themselves, so maybe just order it that way?The Tavern salad was a big surprise as we dont usually have salads with the raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Ive been in old bars that didnt smell like old beer. Heck, even breweries that didnt smell like that. This place is nice for Lake Elsinore, but I dont think it would be as hyped if it were located elsewhere. I will admit that it does have a cool vibe going on, and that is a welcome change/addition to the typical Elsinore holl-in-the-walls. When I came here I was in the mood for something on the lighter side so I ordered the southwest chicken salad. I thought the salad was pretty marginal, and was not very impressed. I will note that most of the food I saw at other peoples tables looked really good, so I cant speak for all of their offerings but am willing to come back and try something else. The service we got was very bleh. Our server wasnt the most friendly person. She rarely came by our table, and barely made eye contact or even cracked a smile. However, the service I noticed at other tables seemed much more enthusiastic and involved, so this may have been an isolated incident. Overall I had a very average experience, but I would still come back to try something else from the menu. I do really like the atmosphere here and think its a step in the right direction for the city and the overall revitalization of the downtown.

I would recommend this place to anyone--everyone--. It has excellent small town atmosphere but its nice inside. Cool concrete bartop, great selection of beers on tap and popular wines. The food was excellent and nicely presented. The hand-tossed pizza was one of the best pizzas Ive had in months. Wednesday night is prime rib night so I ordered that for myself and wow, was I glad. The prime rib came with creamy horseradish along with dark and salty au jus...mmmmm that was fine! Our house salads at $2.95 were a super bonus being fresh greens with cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes. They make all their dressings in-house, too. I cant wait to go back. Highly suggested.

This place is overrated. The shrimp app is a whole dinner plate worth of crispy, but bland rice noodles hiding the actual shrimp. The Mac and cheese is more like penne pasta with store-bought Alfredo, and they left the inedible sausage knot end on my plate. The medium-rare burger came well done and tasted frozen. That and the beer selection was worse than the nearby dive bars, which is inexcusable given the quality breweries in town.Thankfully, service was good and the place was clean so knot all was lost.

Up until now I have liked this place. But tonite they disappointed us. I came at 8:11 PM registered and I was told the waiting time was 30-40 minutes. 40 minutes later they the waiter told us “ if you want to wait it will be take 1 hour” .Her attitude was rude and clearly showed they didn’t want us there.People on my party felt discriminated, The attitude received from 2 of the employees clearly showed their unwillingness no attend us.

Excellent food and great drink selection. Motorcycle parking is not designated but you can usually find curb space at the doors to park the steel horse. It is a small restaurant and does get packed quickly. They have a couple TVs above the bar to check out the sporting events going on etc. Overall a great addition to our Historic Downtown Lake Elsinore on Main St. !

If you are looking for a neighborhood bar similar to what weve see in Cheers, this is the place + food. I went there on a Sunday evening and was amazed at how friendly and welcoming the bartenders were. While you get good service in many places nowadays, genuinely nice staff are hard to come by. MSKP is exactly the place where you can enjoy good food and a couple of drinks while either watching a game, TV or just listening to someone elses conversation.Located on the Main street, this place is a gem in Lake Elsinore. A variety of draft beers, ciders and other alcoholic beverages is combined with a wide selection of food, both bar food and entrees. My calamari was delicious and sufficient enough for 2 people.And again, staff really create a nice atmosphere whether you come alone or with a friend. Will definitely be back!

Went to have a family dinner tonight. Outside as to socially distance. We have a large family and we’re denied the right to put two outside tables together that were on the public sidewalk, not even a part of the property due to “covid” regulations. Wrong! There was no canopy, no fencing off of property, no signs outside etc. My family lives on a large lot with two homes we all have been together since before covid and during. There’s no need to socially distance from each other. Also, sidewalks are public property, not private. These restaurants put a couple tables outside and think the sidewalk is theirs. Inside the restaurant there were multiple parties sitting together at tables that did not live together. Also they were allowed to move chairs to tables inside the restaurant to suit larger parties, but outside they refused us the right to move a single table and add a couple chairs to accommodate our family. Again, it’s public property on a sidewalk. Also, you damn well can move a table to accommodate a party that is together within covid regulations. Open air, outside, on a public sidewalk. We will not be going to Main Street Kitchen and Tap ever again. We have brought ridiculous amounts of business to them since they have opened. We decided on next door, Stadium Pizza where outside, we could sit wherever we want and move tables if needed.
