2023-08-06 06:58:10We had an amazing dining experience at the Indian and Chinese buffet! The variety of dishes offered was impressive, from flavorful Indian curries to delectable Chinese stir-fries. The spices and flavors were authentic and mouthwatering. The buffet setup allowed me to sample a wide range of dishes, all of which were prepared to perfection. The attentive staff and inviting ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend this buffet for anyone looking to indulge in a delightful fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisines.

2023-09-14 20:07:48Had the lunch buffet here with my parents. The food is good and the staff are very helpful, attentive and friendly. I especially appreciate that they use spices to add flavor to their dishes. Other places use too much salt in their recipes and this spot doesnt do that.

2023-03-09 05:52:29This was my first time here. I and my friend went for dinner and we selected buffet. There were many food dishes available along with naan and cumin rice. The cuisine was Indian and Chinese fusion. My favorite item was naan. Most chicken dishes were lacking flavor and spice. It was okay, not the best.

2022-08-14 15:27:36If you want to waste your hard earned money and hate or have a dead tongue that cant taste food then this is the place for you.. First impressions, 4.0 star reviews, the host are very inviting and restaurant was pretty clean and looked quite decent this alone would have been 5 stars but then theit was time for the food... it from 5 stars to 1.. automatically and instantaneously. We went at 12:30ish on a Saturday and decided to try the buffet. The food was barely warm and some was even cold, the chow mien was the worst i ever tasted 🤢🤢🤮🤮 it was cold and had a funky flavor. How does one SCREW up chow mein so badly.. ask the chef(s) here.. they mastered it.None of the chicken curries had any flavor, all the food served was completely bland and flavorless, can be described as bland Indian or Asian hospital food... or worst food was a UN refugee camp. Thankfully the chicken briyani which was upon request and the hot garlic naan was served or my tongue would have commited suicide. The naan and chicken briyani they were decent compared everything else that was out in the buffet section. Thou the chicken briyani was a bowl of rice with 1 chicken drumstick looked like food served at a UN refugee camp it was warm and it was nice to see food steaming. The desserts were nice, mango Lassi was great. Btw our water glasses were never refilled, both staff members were chit chatting or on their phone. The buffet was dead in the water but I decided to give 1 more chance.. benefit of the doubt that perhaps the menu food would come out better.. freshly cooked, hot, and maybe some flavor. When it comes to Indian food I judge them by their briyani, thus ordered the spicy lamb briyani.. received a huge bowl of rice, slices of onions, 2 lemon wedges a pickle of some sort and barely 6 to 7 tiny cubes of lamb meat... and all of it was really bland except the pickle. There was no use arguing with or bringing it up because flavorless buffet spoke volumes and this flavorless bland so called lamb briyani was enough to seal the coffin... this was bland central. Walked up to the counter and asked how to get the 10% discount.. well I was told in order to get the 10% discount you had to complete a review and give a 5 star review.... well then that explains the 4.0 stars rating. Overall this place is a complete waste of money, the chef or chefs dont have taste buds and have no business in the kitchen because they have no cooking abilities or are allergic to spices. The desserts were nice because they didnt make these,.. its either from a can or maybe bought from.one of the Indian sweets stores. Would I return to this restaurant... never.. Id rather eat dirt or sand then a bite of food from here.

2023-02-18 04:44:40Food was very good and staff was very attentive to us. They sat us down quickly and always had a smile on their face. Naan was also fresh along with the rest of the food. It was good to the point where we were stuffed and couldn’t finish our food all the way.

2021-12-08 08:46:47Mainland China was a fantastic find for us. We stopped in for the buffet and had a wonderful chat with the staff who were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.We didnt go with any expectations but it was really good. The food was absolutely outstanding. The two best items in the buffet was the Mango Lassi and the Butter Naan. They also had orange chicken, veg chow mein, egg rolls, Mongolian beef, tempura shrimp, Chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, chicken chow mein, butter chicken, pakoras and samosas. Manager and the staffs were very co-operative & super attentive. They were making sure all the guests are taken care of. This restaurant was very, very clean, as was their facilities. It is an HALAL restaurant which is the cherry on top. For sure this will be one of our favorite restaurant in Elk Grove.

2021-09-23 06:07:59We paid $17 for ayce buffet here which was quite honestly disappointing. The service was superb which makes me feel bad about giving this place a lower rating but the food was honestly really over salted or over sugary, even by buffet standards. I drank 3 cups of water and left before I was full because I didnt want to eat anything anymore. The Tika masala was the sweetest Ive ever had from anywhere. The lamb curry so so salty. The chicken tandoori was cold even though we ate it right away from the buffet line.. Same for the fish pakora. The redeeming thing was the garlic Naan which was thin and delicious.Wish they just had a container of mint chutney because even waiting for refills of that to help with the salt was sad. The mango Lassi desperately needed ice as the lukewarm ready made did not do it justice. Wish there were more veggies to help with the salty foods. As for the Chinese food...again really either overly salty or sweet. The only good thing was the dumplings. The Chinese food is really really lacking in my opinion, sad to say because I wanted to like it. It also pales in comparison to other places with just sheer amount of variety and options usually offered at a buffet.I would not come here again, even though the ambiance was nice and bright and the service was honestly really great.

2023-08-09 03:46:03Came with family. Great food at great price. Bought the weekday buffet, was delighted to know they included mango lassi and FRESHLY MADE naan! The food happens to be halal as well. Next time I pass by area, Im going to visit here again. Would highly recommend.

2022-12-20 20:58:30The new name for this restaurant is made in India. The food horrible, it’s the worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten. Food choices are extremely limited and everything is cold. The reviews on Yelp seems odd, there is no way this place can earn a 4.5 star. Definitely not coming back to this place ever again.
