I came here and purchased a spicy tuna roll & California roll. I was served a spicy tuna roll with SPOILED spicy tuna. The smell and taste of spoiled fish is something I do not wish you experience. Thats unfortunately not all sadly. The service here is not great, the old lady working there treats you like you are inconveniencing her. The restaurant is not cleaned after promptly as the tables are covered with dirty dishes and utensils. It takes a long while for your order to be done. They are also stingy with utensils, sauces, and napkins. You have to ask for them, and when you do the lady there again looks highly irritated with you. The California roll only had a paper thin smear of avocado on it. I am so disappointed and I hope I dont get sick from this place. I was just trying to support a local business but will never be returning here again.

Lady working there has EXTREME staring problem. My family was the only people in for a while and we felt her eyes on us the whole time,very uncomfortable. Most painfilly awkward atmosphere ive ever eaten in u could not pay me to come back. Restaurant is too quiet and small so hard to have good conversations. The sushi is small and expensive. The table next to our asked for beers and the lady was staring at them whole time too with judgement. Looking for good food?Dont eat here. Looking for good atmosphere RUN in the other direction. This place will give demons everyone was fighting in the car on way home bc the negative vibes

The food is great and the employees are super nice. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but well kept and clean. We Love this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for yummy sushi

I just left Maki Plus its been a while since Ive been here not because of service just kids graduated from high school so its out of the way but I know Ill have to make a trip at least every other month on treat myself days remember why I liked it service great and food delicious to add to it my daughter noticed an appetizer they have called the SUSHI PIE we got it and lets just say I dont do reviews but here I am I wish I didnt have to share with her the most amazing flavors in my mouth the world must no its a sin not to. The chief on Thursday nights is great we sat at the bar and he took our order without pressure and was totally alert when I made my request even the next one 5 minutes later without repeating myself even though he was on the other side of the bar unlike people standing right next to me. Anyways did I mention I really enjoyed myself and my freash flavorfull beautiful food plus service

Beef short ribs was $26, 44% ($8) higher than the menu price. I know times are tough but that was just robbery when you don’t forewarn the customer. They had a message on the QR code menu on the window but I was dining in and using the in-restaurant laminated menu. My friend’s lunch bill was a few dollars more than advertised and if mine was that that, that would’ve been forgivable.I was a regular here for years before I left the area in 2014. Even though it’s out of the way from work, I was planning to go regularly again but not any more. I don’t know if it’s the same owners anyway. I regret tipping 20% but part of me felt sorry for them for having to stoop so low. By the way, an explanation given to me was that LA charges $32. That’s a ridiculous comparison and completely besides the point. Being nice with 2 stars for the good old times.

I went in around 4pm. There was only 1 person working and she either didnt see me at the counter to place my order or ignored me for over 5 minutes. I ordered a custom roll and an ingredient Im unable to eat was included without my knowledge. Prices were high for what I got. Used to go to this restaurant regularly but will not be returning again in the future.

Tried quite a few rolls here, was not disappointed at all. It was all scrumptious.The service tho, dang. I understand right now its hard to hire people. But when you have one person running the whole thing its tough.Finished my soda before I got my food(was thirsty), asked for another but never got it as there were 6 other customers there. I didnt push the issue as the chef/ server/cashier was doing Thier best. However, you could tell some of the people were also getting impatient.

Restaurant was small. We expected the food to have more taste. Had to add things for taste. Sushi was very good though. We don’t think that we will go back here.

I only had their food twice. But let me tell you its one of my favorite places.
