Honestly I still feel ful and it’s been a few hours since I went here. It was SO GOOD. It’s hard to not overeat dim sum, especially here. I love that they start you off with fresh tea and peanuts. After we ordered the food came out pretty fast, super hot and delicious. The beef fried rice was flavorful. The dumplings and buns were so yummy. I’d eat here every week if I could!

Ive eaten at both Mama Lus in Monterey Park, and now I dont have to drive down the 10 just to get good dumplings. They took over the old CBS seafood place, and it looks pretty much the same inside, but the food is much better now. The XLBs are very good and on par with Ding Tai Fung, but much more reasonable in price 10 dumplings for 12.99. This place is absolutely worth a visit.

We were long time customers of Golden Dragon prior to the pandemic. Decided to try another place. Was great to see the dimsum carts here. We ordered soup dumplings, beef noodle wrap, har gaw, siu mai, a dumpling w shrimp and pork, beef tripe, and sesame balls. With the exception of the har gaw and sui mai, both of which were delicious, everything else was just alright. The wrap of the soup dumplings was just too firm, not a lot of soup inside, though the meat itself was flavorful. Most disappointing were the sesame balls, which were undercooked, with rice flour chunks still inside. Very disappointed, as I had high hopes to find another dimsum alternate here w the carts.

Mama Lus takeout dim sum is a flavor-packed delight. The dumplings are a burst of authentic taste, and the convenience of takeout doesnt compromise on freshness. A definite go-to for a satisfying dim sum fix!

Yesterday I went to eat here and ordered what I usually order at the Monterey park location. Veggie fried rice and dumplings. My plate had dirty chopsticks which I just asked if they can replace them. They brought out the food and the dumplings had this weird thing inside them and in the side of them. I immediately lost my appetite and told them about it and they were rude to me and I still pay and left all the food uneaten there. Look at the picture I have never seen this in dumplings.

There’s a parking lot to the left of the building. Everything was great! Loved also seeing dim sum carts too although we didn’t order dim sum, only came for Mama Lu’s dishes

Wow! What a treat! Absolutely delicious food -the Spicy Wontons with Pork and Shrimp 紅油抄手 - were fantastic - fresh made, delicate but chewy exterior with succulent whole shrimp and pork inside - topped with crushed peppercorn, chili oil, peanuts, and scallions. The Sautéed Assorted Vegetable 素什錦 was also impressive - fresh, huge portion of a nice blend of broccoli, water chestnuts, bok choi, wood ear and other mushrooms. Take out was quick and piping hot (placed on UberEats). I very much look forward to eating in the restaurant next time.

Came on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 8 and we were actually seated pretty fast! This Mama Lu’s also has dim sum! They unfortunately, don’t have their signature fried seaweed fish dish though! That was disappointing! The shao lum bao (soup dumplings) were good but not as good as MPK location.Walked here so can’t comment on parking.Overall, it was good but not as tasty as Monterey Park’s location.

This location unlike there others offers dim sum. The cuisine is Shanghainese, from Northern China.Unfortunately, the dim sum is awful. The wrapping on the har gow is too thick. In fact, The selection of dim sum is sparse. Though lobako (turnip cake) is commonly offered at most dim sum eateries, at Mama Lus it is only served on weekends. They would do well to state that on the menu. I definitely cannot recommend their sum sum.Because the dim sum was awful, I also ordered orange chicken and that was actually quite good. Again, their non-dum sum offerings are also not very diverse though preferable over the dim sum.
