Union Retirement Solutions always enjoys exploring new restaurants...My first experience was with War Wonton soup. Lets just say it was plentiful with shrimp, chicken, pork, dumplings, and vegetables... Great flavor!!!

Service is the star. It was great. Food was runner-up tonight. Won tons were very hard in soup. Like they had been cooked too long. Could barely cut them. Shrimp, certainly frozen before. I did like the fresh bok choy in it. Did not care for the pieces of BBQ pork in it. Especially when I got my main dish and it had the same shreds of pork. Made me feel like it was not unique to any dish, BBQ pork chow mein. The noodles were great. The portions were way too much for one. This is a place for 2 or more people.

You know its good when they eat theyre own food. My third time here and my first disappointment all at the same time. They served me some burnt rice from the bottom of the pot. Some fresh fried rice came out in 5 min after my complaint. Thats the only Ill say about that. Good food. Good service.

We ordered takeout and the food is decidedly bland and flavorless. I ordered the Three Kinds Of Seafood Deluxe and it is basically ridiculous. Unimaginative with no flavor whatsoever. Photo attached.

Don’t expect anything fancy when you walk in, but don’t let the “look” fool you. I have been on the hunt for a good Chinese Restaurant in the Tri-Valley for the past couple years and haven’t had any success until today! My friends and I decided to take our chances after reading through the reviews, which isn’t something I normally do. Sometimes people are very unfair and rather than talk to the establishment about their experience, whether good or bad, they normally just post a bad review. I like to give a place an opportunity to make things right if I have had a not so great experience.This place from the start made you feel very welcome. Like I said, nothing fancy, but the warm welcome, along with the delicious food was perfect for what we were looking for. I asked for the Spicy Eggplant to not be too spicy and I added Prawns to the order as it didn’t come with meat. It came out piping hot in temperature, but perfectly seasoned. We each ordered the luncheon special and it came with soup, a wonton and I chose brown rice. So many restaurants have recently started cutting back on their portion sizes, that wasn’t the case here. After eating what I wanted, they packaged up each of our orders to take home. There was enough for another meal. I will definitely be returning to this little gem.

Our first visit to this restaurant ... Outstanding! Dont think twice. The food was fresh, made to order, and plentiful. Service was above and beyond. On the menu: Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Dry Braised Green Beans with Minced Pork (OMG), Broccoli Beef, Beef Chow Mein, Lemon Chicken, Vegetable Fried Rice. All served steaming hot, made to order, and seasoned to perfection. Not overly salted and NO MSG. The sauce on the Lemon Chicken was light and not sicky-sweet. Fabulous presentation. Lovely Sauvignon Blanc from Page Mill Winery from Livermore was a wonderful compliment to all the dinner items. Kudos to the chefs and staff. They were so fun and friendly. Cheers!!! Well be back soon (from Alameda).

This is an amazing Chinese restaurant. The food at Mandarin Delight is delicious and plentiful. The waitress was helpful, attentive and the owner was a complete joy to speak with. The restaurant is beautiful, the restrooms were well designed and spotless. If you are looking for good Chinese food with a pleasant atmosphere, Mandarin Delight is the perfect choice.

Amazing restaurant! It’s not very large and wildly popular, try and make a rez before you arrive. The owner saw we were football fans and took the time to chat with us about the upcoming games. Everything about their food is AMAZING. We are going back before we leave town!!

After a morning of cherry picking, we were ready to fill our bellies with something good. However, the choices close to Brentwood on our way home were few and far between. We searched for something that seemed good and this place kept popping up. After a short discussion, and with nothing else to go on except the few reviews we found, we decided this would be worth the risk.After a short call to verify they would be open for lunch, we made our way. When we got there, we found them in a nondescript corner of there mall. Did we doubt our decision? Well, read on!We entered the place just about 1130h, their opening time. The place was empty, but we were welcomed with big smiles by the staff and promptly seated. We ordered their garlic noodles and the usual fare and were soon faced with a spread that smelled delish! We werent disappointed. I must say that the food was quite tasty, the portions hefty and the ambiance quite pleasant. Soon after we were seated and enjoying our meal, we realized that the place had filled. Apparently, we found that we made a good choice because people were in and out ordering food to go and some, like us, sitting to enjoy their meal in house.I believe that a Chinese place where there is a line, is a sign of a good place to eat. Being the first customers of the day, had us worried a bit until the place awoke.Thats when we knew we hit the jackpot. We will surely be back soon. We only live up the hill from here and are always willing to drive to special places like this. Well be back. And will bring reinforcements. Thanks for the great service.

Coworker took me here for lunch and its my favorite place to go for great Chinese food. This time was chicken w/green beans and steamed rice. Chicken was tender, green beans had a slight crunch, rice was sweet and fluffy, and the black bean sauce was delicious. Service is always great and fast. The atmosphere is slightly loud during the lunch hour on certain days of the week but it can be quieter and calmer on other days.

If youre looking for great tasting food with top notch service at a reasonable price, look no further. Sadly I dont make it to Pleasanton often, but when I do, it has to be Mandarin Delight. Did I mention its clean and inviting. Enjoy!!!

A classic Chinese delight. We tried their onion cakes, orange chicken, egg foo yang with veggies, and vegetable chow mein. Onion cakes were nice and crispy and a great way to start the meal. Orange chicken was still crispy when they served it in the sauce. Egg foo yang was my favorite and it came in a very very very generous amount. Vegetable chow mein was a tad more salty than our taste, but full of vegetables and tofu.This place is highly recommended if you are in dublin and craving chinese food. Also, they serve a generous amount of food, so very good value for money.

It was an intense experience. The service would come several times in less than a minute to ask if we were ready. We felt rushed when we were eating. They took things of our table and asked if we were done. It was a uncomfortable. But the food was great and the tea.
