Drove 4 hrs and somehow was craving for some Chinese food.Im a sucker for salt and pepper pork. Every Chinese place I go to I have to try. Well, it was mediocre. Salty, not much other flavor.Sweet and sour pork had a weird after taste to it. Not terrible but weirdWar won ton soup was really good. We finished that up in no time.Service was actually nice. Lady was kind to my 2 years old.

Tasty, fresh, authentic Chinese cuisine with good size portions. Reasonably priced. I’d recommend this place if you love Chinese food! If not crowded they will accommodate substitutions and special requests. We had the gluten free rice noodle with tofu, mushroom delight, snow peas with water chestnuts and stir fried green beans.

I’ve driven past this place plenty of times while here in Tahoe and haven’t ever thought of stopping. Craving Chinese food brought me in today.Place was super quiet, and we were the only people dining here. Phone rang the whole time with people placing orders to go, probably since it’s so cold and snowy outside.Tried the chicken and broccoli lunch special and sweet and sour chicken lunch special as well. They also come with hot and sour soup or egg drop if you choose and egg roll. Food was super hot when it came out, which was great!Loved everything! Two meals and two sodas only came to $29 for the bill, which was crazy and well worth it!

Susan “the owner “ is truly a gem. Made us feel right at home.This was our first time here. Tahoe does not have good Chinese food until now. I’m so happy to say after trying everyone in town and being disappointed every time we found our go to place.Prices are up there but it’s worth every dime.

The dinner set is everything you will ever need. Everything from the wonton soup to the entree to the fried rice is very well-made and highly presentable. Would highly recommend the double-cooked pork, as it is a personal favorite, and this place went above and beyond on this dish.The mixed veggies are also very good. I can count at least 8 different vegetables in there and they all taste fabulous. Its not easy to say this about many Chinese restaurants.The place was really understaffed and service was understandably slow, but they were very kind and was really speedy once they got our order. Cant think of a better spot for authentic, delicious Chinese food in the area.

Being located away from the center of the action of South Lake Tahoe, the restaurant looked unassuming and there were very few customers dining inside, so I wasnt sure if it would be any good. I am glad I decided to go in. The Wor Won soup was first-rate. In fact, everything we ordered was very good. I have eaten a lot of good Chinese food living in the San Francisco Bay Area, and this place is right up there with the best of them. My only criticism was that the hot tea was a little thin. However, I will definitely go there again the next time I am in the area.

So I will start by saying I was in the mood for Thai as we landed at this place, so my choice may not have been for this place. The pad thai was pretty good but the curry didnt taste too much like curry I have had. We arrived somewhat early but no one else was dining in so a bit skeptical. But the staff was friendly and great. Others in my group mostly enjoyed their food but some didnt have too glowing of reviews. Id stick to more traditional Chinese fare here. Portions were good size especially for the price.

Food and service were good and fast. It wasnt crowded; customers were seated with one empty table from each other. We ordered Hot & Sour Soup, Generals Chicken, Sizzling Seafood Platter, and Chow Fun. There were many take out orders (incoming calls, walk-ins, and pickup).

Worth the money. Tiny place, we found a seat quickly. I got a great offer on a meal I wanted with a bit more on the plate which was a great deal. Our appetizers were the right amount and our food was hot and fresh. Will be returning! So delicious.
