We were pleasantly surprised at the authentic flavors here. We had the mooshoo chicken and the mixed vegetables with brown sauce. Both were authentic and delicious. The only disappointment was the fried shrimp. Not that good. We will start coming here regularly as it is the best in this area.

For a long time me and my mates were planning to have some chinese food. then we search and check reviews about different chinese restaurants near us then we found this one and reviews about food and environment was good then we decided to visit and visited this place some days ago and found best. food was much yummy as we just order their special dish (forgot name photo attached) it was really good and environment was well and peaceful. we enjoyed food and time spend here

The food here is superb and the setting is intimate. The staff is very friendly and prompt. I always feel welcomed. The owner comes out to check on everyone which is always nice. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Our favorite dishes include the appetizer sampler, hot & sour soup, Szechuan beef, imperial vegetables, and the best moo shu beef Ive ever had. The restaurant is clean, well lit, and not too loud. They have a banquet room for large groups.

Mandarin terrace is a hidden gem! The food is amazing and lots of it! Service is wonderful, staff is extremely friendly and helpful, dont miss this wonderful Chinese restaurant. The food is high quality and they offer dine in, take out, and delivery services. They are conveniently located in Sun Valley where Sunland boulevard and Glen Oaks split. With so many Chinese restaurants just becoming fast food, steam table establishment, this is a real, sit down, enjoy a delicious Chinese meal, which is made to order, restaurant! Dont forget they also offer a nice beer and wine selection.

I came in last night and ordered the House Special Noodles. Since I’m not a big fan of beef anymore, I was able to ask for pork, and I had an option of the reg. or the BBQ pork.Just have to say Wow! The shrimp was delicious, the chicken so tender. And the BBQ Pork nice thick pieces melt in da mouth! ( had to put some Hawaiian pigeon). The 2 girls working the front were so polite and friendly, I mentioned soup, and she almost sold me a bowl. (But I knew I would spill it in car). I’m back tonight after voting because I will now be delivering my daughter and husband a great meal from this place that has been around for so so long! In my neighborhood.

I’ve been ordering from here for 6 months now.. their food is *always* hot, and *always*very good, and usually the best deal within miles!! I’ve tried others as far away as Burbank and DTLA, they’re good, but not THIS GOOD!! Hands down I keep coming back to what’s BEST!

I been a client for a few years and was very happy with the food but in the few times it’s been really disappointing food was very cold and tasteless fried shrimp is horrible, I asked for fried rice and what I got was a disgusting white rice mixed with soy sause not fried at all human beef was so dry like it’s not done fresh

We have gone to this restaurant once in a while for years. While I agree that the decor is a little dated, you can not beat the service, the food and the prices. Always friendly, always prompt service. I have not had anything on the menu that I didnt like. Their eggplant bean curd (tofu) kung pao style is just as delicious as the honey walnut shrimp. Generous portions too, always leftovers for a midnight snack or lunch the next day.

Very disappointing! The fried shrimp was just awful---greasy and unchewable (like it was way overcooked. But the rest of the food was good. The decor was dread full and I question the cleanliness. I doubt well return.
