I see why this place gets so busy, It’s very unique. Never have I had any ice cream like this. The mango is delicious and sweet. Although the bowls of ice cream are expensive, you definitely get what you pay for. It’s definitely enough for two people to enjoy and even have left overs. Would go again, very nice “tourist” destination.

Honestly surprisingly good. They had really fast service even though it was packed with students and families from commencements. The prices are also cheaper than most of the other places in davis. The atmosphere is a little boring but it is more spacious than the other places in town. Then obviously their drinks were really good. I drank it all in that one sitting. The boba was perfectly textured. Good stuff

Love the bingsu! It’s hard to find good bingsu in a lot of places in Bay Area. I love that they really loaded it with strawberries and strawberry sauce and gave us a whole container of sweetened condensed milk! It’s also layered!! That way when you finish the top part you still have more strawberry! Def will come back again!

Got the chocolate bingsoo. Wasnt sure if we needed to get toppings, but decided to be stingy and pass. It didnt need additional. It was glorious on its own. Without adding anything it already had cookie crumble, drizzle, and condensed milk. Theres drizzle throughout in the inside, too. I wanted to get a second one, but my peers were judging me and saying it was excessive. Weeks later I regret letting them win. I must return.

This place is a staple at davis, they have a good variety of drinks and never disappoints. We got 2 regular sized bingsoo for 7 people but thought that 2 larger would’ve been better suited for the group.The vibes I’m here are amazing, tons of people talking to each other and have board games. The tables in here are a little dirty and they don’t clean it very often, but other than that no complaints.Overall, I think this is the best boba/dessert place in Davis.

The injeolmi (soybean) and mango bingsoos are to DIE FOR. The shaved snow is extra fine, and the sweetness is perfectly balanced. They provide evaporated/condensed milk on the side just in case you need any additional sweetness to your bingsoo. Bingsoo is prepared with layers of snow intermingled with layers of mango, soybean, or whatever your order of choice is. Keep in mind, it is an extra $3.00 charge to upgrade the bingsoo serving size to a large. To-go orders are packed carefully with an ice pack to keep the snow from melting. The mango sago was yummy too! The texture was smooth and dense enough to be filling. The teahouse is really busy during the evening, but the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. This is one of my go to places in NorCal for desserts! :D

The best and the worst!This is the best bingsoo, but I kinda wish it weren’t.I’ve had several weirdly tense interactions with staff…? Like, defensiveness or brusqueness around questions like, “can I have boba on my bingsoo?” (No.) “Can I order just boba?” (No.)And the air is CHARGED and I feel like the reaction is like I’ve kicked a kitten. Tea shops usually offer endless customization options, so I am still worried about what I managed to do?This is just one example, but I’ve had many at this place. It’s very jarring because I have negative customer experiences never.Why?!? 😭

I think the drinks are tasty. The service there was really nice and they took the time to make sure my drink was prepared well. I have never tried the desserts but hopefully I will try it one day. So far the taste in the Boba drinks are really well done. Ive never tasted anything so good like this so far this is one of my favorite drink places to go.

I dont know what they put in their shave ice but the texture is amazing and it feels like ice cream once you put that amazing white stuff (yes I know its condense milk) all over the delicious ice creamed filling with the mango all over the top. You can get other flavors too such as strawberries and Chocolate but the mango is the crowd favorite. I tried their season mango Avacado drink, I forgot the nickname but it was okay. The Avacado was overpowering but it still a vibe.

I guess it is a popular place, the dessert is great but it is kind of dirty floors, unclean tables and dirty chairs due to traffic. Wish the manager or owner can do a better job keeping up with the place would make it a lot more enjoyable.

Delicious desert found here. Didnt know what to expect, but their bingsoos were yummy. Its a mix of shaved ice and ice cream. Had the strawberry flavored, highly recommend. Seating inside with some boardgames available too. Definitely will try again!

Mandro milk tea and oolong tea were both excellent! They didnt ask about the sweetness or ice level when we ordered but it was still really nice. Not too sweet! The price is really good too. Each item was $3.50 + $0.50 for pearls! We will definitely come back again to try other items :)

Best boba I’ve had in Davis, in my opinion. Pretty sure they make their boba/the pearls fresh there and they always use fresh taro in their taro drinks (not the powder) which I love. I’d definitely recommend the taro milk tea, the kumquat lemon basil seed, or any of the matcha drinks!

Honestly for all the boba places in Davis this one is the only one I would completely avoid. Which is really surprising given the good reviews I’ve seen.Ive been there a few times where theyve been out of taro and caramel.And their taro matcha milk tea was the worst Ive had. It was mixed poorly the outside of the bottle was covered in foam and matcha and to drink it was powdery.It had a really strange texture.Their desserts are ok. Kinda typical for what you get in these kind of places. I enjoyed it but wouldnt drive back here to get that dessert.

I like the tea here but it is pricier than the other tea places in town. Customer service is a hit or miss. Ive had instances where the cashier was a bit rude. They also charge an extra 50 cents for charges under 8 dollars. If you come here for the bingsu (the strawberry one is very good) then you dont have to worry about the extra charge. But I wouldnt come here if you want to pick up a drink on the go.

I love the boba here. Hands down best boba in Davis. My favorite is the Milky Taro with boba 30% sweet. It has fresh taro purée and is really creamy. I like that it has no caffeine because I don’t always want milk tea but want boba :3 and purple is my favorite color so that’s a plus. I like how fresh the boba is here. They also have bingsoo and it’s very good. I usually get them in the summer and share it with two or three people. I get the matcha and red bean one because it’s not too sweet and cuz they put rice cake on top. It’s so soft and squishy so I can tell it’s of good quality.

This dessert place is the staple of Davis. I had so many fond memories here. To ne honest, they serve the best milk tea in town no doubt. I highly recommend the Lemon Kumquat Basil Seed. It is so refreshing and you cant get it anywhere else. The bingsoo is amazing and loaded with fresh fruit. Im sad that I dont get to sit down and enjoy my bingsoo there anymore. For now, as of July 2020, they only do takeout. They put the bingsoo into a poke bowl container and I think its about the same size as their regular dine-in bowls? Maybe a little less but Im fine with that. They put ice in the plastic takeout bag then put the bowl on top so it wont melt as fast as you take it home. It also comes with a sauce cup of evaporated milk. The mango bingsoo is seasonal to the summer so get it soon!

I was made to feel completely unwelcomebecause I wanted my milk tea with matcha have a green and black tea base. Im 42 years old and have reverse receptors in my brain. the extra caffeine is needed. I know what I like. I was so extremely polite and they rejected me in a like never came back sort of way. I was born overseas where hospitality is everything...this sort of behavior I suppose is the norm now?.. I was just felt feeling completely hurt. No advice was given to even steer me with the menu. She just flat out rushed to say no. It felt more like an attack than customer service. There is a far cry from we wont do that. Company policy. To, Im so sorry we cant do that but what are you looking for maybe I can recommend a drink off the menu? Like just a flat explitive inserted no. Just mean. So mean.They snobily rejected me because I asked for an drink that I like and have already had. I didnt even get to try this place out...the lady who was helping me was all ego and was actually super happy to make me feel uncomfortable. I dont feel this is a safe place. Thinking about the whole exchange just hurts my heart and she made me cry because of how rude she was. I am Autistic. Human interactions are super hard for me and it is very difficult for me to try new things. I feel completely floored and dehumanized.

Bingsoo is always too expensive, no matter the place. Just get ice cream. The drinks are alright. Also, the mango bingsoo I had had somewhat unripe mangos that tasted a bit sour. Mixing unintended sourness with the milk shaved ice felt like I was eating spoiled milk.

Not really where I would recommend for boba. The place itself was kinda dirty inside and messy. There a bunch of signs that give instructions on how to order at the kiosk instead of someone on the register, which isnt inherently a bad thing. However, while at the kiosk you are charged 50 cents for using a card on orders under $8. You are expected to give your tip to the kiosk before you get your order. Getting boba or dairy free milks are all extra, so keep that in mind too. Overall, I would skip this to go to one of the other 50 tea shops in town. The drinks are good and the workers are friendly, but the poor business practices are a strong deterrent.

Paid >$8 for a Taro Smoothie with Boba and got it without it. I went to the register pointed it out but the lady behind the register insisted that it was ordered without boba. I calculated the price which made me 100% certain that boba was selected at the kiosk and that I paid for it. Still no chance. I definitely wont come back here.

The teahouse opens at 12:30pm, and when we showed up at 12:30pm on a Thursday, we were the only customers. But it took the staff almost 30 minutes to fill the order of two items. When a business opens at a specific time, it is supposed to be ready to serve customers, not asking them to wait about 30 minutes. (BTW, the staff never apologized for the wait while they were getting ready.) Is this what the store manager or owner expects of the staff? I would advise people to go at 1pm to avoid the wait.

Me and my friend LOVE this place. We go here almost twice a month. Smells great inside and very clean. Workers know me here. Boba tastes great and so does the tea. They also play great music. Only thing is the workers can be quiet at times and it can take a little while. Otherwise I totally recommend.

Probably the most reasonable tasting boba in Davis. Comparing to SoCal and Bay area boba, its not the most amazing, but I definitely dont need to drive out to Sac to get some decent milk tea anymore. Its a bit on the expensive side, but its about what you would typically pay anyways for good boba anyways. Coming here again! Also lots of seats for people, but I would say during peak it gets very noisy so not for studying all day.

My favorite dessert place in Davis! They offer a large selection of sweets, including soy pudding, grass jelly, bingsoo, and tea drinks. There are tables for indoor seating, as well as a small patio outside.I personally enjoy their bingsoo (esp. the strawberry and matcha flavors), their super fruit tea and their hawaii fruit tea.

My favorite tea shop ever! I got tired of powder-based flavors at most shops and love the variety and unique drinks Mandro offers. I rotate between Matcha Macchiato (with the foam), Jasmine milk tea, mango sago, and taro milk tea.The bingsoo is super good and fun to share with others, though its a pretty pricey treat for what you get.

I think this is one of the better milk tea places in Davis. My favorite is the roasted milk tea with grass jelly because the grass jelly is so fresh. The egg pudding is good and fresh too. The taro is not the artificial powder one, so that can throw some people off. Some people love it and some people love their purple powder. I like that I can customize the sweetness because I like it less sweet.

One of the better boba places in Davis that functions as a place to get together/chill/play board games. They have really good home made egg pudding and solid tea options. Their boba is decent- not honey or too sweet, so I recommend sticking with just egg pudding.The Okinawan, Hokkaido, and Mandro milk tea are all pretty good- you can customize sweetness and ice level. They also have fresh taro milk which is blended well and has good flavor. You can see which fruit options have syrups and which use fresh ingredients (mango). A good dessert in West Davis, though I recommend calling ahead for certain specialties in case they run out!

My favorite drink is iced milk with coconut jelly. Not sure if its lychee jelly and they make me believe its coconut. Not sure but the drink is fabulous.The iced milk is foamy, creamy, and very sweet! The jelly adds a chewy texture and a small contrast to the flavor.

Drinks are very good but the WIFI sometimes doesnt work (cant access IPv4 websites) when there are too many people present. If that happens, you can just ask them to restart their WIFI router. But, it will be great if they can actually repair their WIFI router.

Probably one of the better milktea boba places in Davis. Would have been number 1, then Gonga Cha came. But I would put MandRo just below SF boba. Also a much bigger place for larger groups and they have fun games. Totally worth trying and a fun place to hang out. Only real drawback is that it is out of the way if you have to bike. But lots of bus stops around.

Mango shaved ice, the soft milk-based ice cream I had in Korea~ Its even called shaved ice, right? Its better than most Korean shaved ice👍 Its so delicious and the price is reasonable~ I ate a large size, but I thought the three of us would get full after eating it, so we left some~ Theres also an outdoor table outside the store~
