So this is a place my husband and I drive by very often, and without really looking into it we just dove into it with both feet. And it did NOT disappoint.Granted it is a bit more spendy than I’m use to HOWEVER you get what you paid for! The tuna melted in my mouth and had a beautiful balance of fatty, texture, and flavor. The same is said for the eel! The appetizers we got were edemas with butter and garlic. Absolutely heavenly, and it’s not the first time I’ve had edemas like this either. I CANNOT express the massive amount of satisfaction I had going here. I do plan to go back very soon, but not soon enough! Husband also had the same experience I did, life changing (as extreme as that sounds it really was amazing). I recommend this place to everyone I know. There is still so much on the menu that I want to experience.I only wish I could give a higher rating. 💛🧡💚

We keep coming back for their delicious sushi and Japanese entrees. Our favorites are the specialty rolls Fog City and SF Zoo and the Tokyo Curry topped with a Japanese potato croquette. The Spicy Edamame is a great appetizer, so well seasoned and not too heavy. I often try something from their innovative specials menu, recently something called the White Diamond which is expertly seasoned, seared white fish on small bites of lettuce. So good my husband ordered one, too.The staff is delightful and will make you feel at home, even if you are unfamiliar with the menu. Our server expertly advised us on what to order. We often get hot tea but occasionally sample from their vast craft beer menu or excellent sake.Dark flooring and walls gives the large dining space around the sushi bar an contemporary industrial feel for SF-Tokyo fusion theme. Huge windows flood the space with light and a row of enormous high definition televisions crown one wall, showing games or stunning photography.Casual but great for date night or a special family celebration because theyre good for groups.

Really sad to see this place closed indefinitely, I used to come here a lot with my parents and this is the first Saturday we havent gotten it, if it does reopen by a miracle I highly recommend the Tokyo Curry, which comes with a delicious croquette on top. Its a bit pricey but the service was great and the food was amazing. The udon was pretty good too, but I preferred the curry.

Starting off with the good, the service was excellent and our waiter went above and beyond explaining the beers on tap and the different food items. Very friendly and the perfect balance between attentive and smothering 😂 the space itself was pretty but super loud, even in the pre-dinner hour with hardly any folks, its just a box so sound carries like crazy. The food was okay, but I thought it was overpriced. You can find other places in the area more worth the money.

Pretty good place. the sushi was very tasty. the only thing I would not advise anyone to order is tartare, for this price of $30 it is not worth it. but everything else was just great. both food and service were of a fairly good standard.

Came here for lunch. The service was fast and the waitress was great. When she told us they were out of a beer we wanted, she gave some good recommendations as alternatives. The sushi tasted fresh and looked good. My boyfriend is very sensitive to sushi—he will get sick from ‘off’ fish. He was feeling 100% and full following our meal, so that’s a major plus in our book.Pictured here:-Tempura shrimp roll-Philly roll-Fog City roll-Tempura appetizer

Came here thinking I wouldnt like the place. But decided to have an open mind and willing to try. I was super surprised. The food was freaking awesome. The service was good. The atmosphere was ok.My only complaint is that the host never greeted us. I had to say hello before she looked up. She obviously isnt aware of her responsibilities at work. The prices are bay prices. Wow 150.00 for 3 people. Crazy.

Ughh I want to like this place a lot but honestly the prices are pretty high for what they serve. I do admit the food was bomb dot com but 75% of our group (12) felt we got shortchanged. To the pros: ordered the bento box with salmon and it was all so delicious. The veggies were all perfect, from the salad items to the tempura. The salmon amount was very underwhelming was my big complaint on this box, but the tenderness and flavors were on point. Nice rice. The miso (I think?) soup was awesome as well. The place itself is a modernized restaurant bar feel to it. Few coworkers ordered the VIP Salmon and it looked like they were very underserved as well. One mound of rice and few pieces of salmon. Soup was included. It just felt like a $10 meal instead of $25. I at least had few more items in the bento box for same price. We came here to check out as a new place to eat on our annual work trip but will probably avoid it next time, not gonna lie.

Had my 3rd year anniversary with my S.O. here. Sushi was a little underwhelming considering the wait took quite a while for the sushi. Went a few days after their opening, so perhaps we got the on-training staff. Got a mixed tempura appetizer which was alright. Got a booth, no complaints for the table or the seat, comfortable enough to sit through the night. Our server was very accommodating and sincerely assured us that the food was on the way. The atmosphere is alright fitting that of a sushi bar. Overall place is decent.

Im not a big raw sushi fan but decided to try it. It was melting in my mouth and was very tasty and flavorful. I loved the oyster shooters and the Maneki spoons. They have their own brand beer that was supper good. The guera is like a Corona but better and the dub melon is so good. The unfiltered saki was also really good. Being a new restaurant I wouldnt expect them to be at 100% on everything, overall its definitely on the top of my 5 sushi places. I Ill be going back and give an updated review.
