This restaurant was great to accommodate a big group of over 20+ we had, but I think we might have overwhelmed them. They did the best they could with service, but looked like they could use another hand. Overall the food is decent if you are craving Vietnamese food, but coming from the SGV with a variety of options I cant really compare. For me food was on the pricey side from what Im used to. I ordered the beef ball pho which was ok. Their fried egg rolls were good. They do have a variety of things on the menu to choose from which is nice. The decor is simple and modern. The plus about this place is that they had their sliding doors open so it was very airy and circulated with fresh air. The negative is that they charge a % fee for using a credit card which they dont say or post anywhere. I ended up paying cash to avoid this.

I really enjoyed their Pho here. We tried the Beef, Beef combo, and the shrimp. The broth were all good, rich in flavor and home made style (not loaded with MSG). Their house fried rice was super yummy, great pick for kiddos to enjoy.

Customer service was good and fast. I really liked the flavors of the food they had, the pho was so good. They have good portion sizes and authenticity for the price and area. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area.

This place is ok, nothing special, ordered spring rolls and shrimp noodle soup. The spring rolls were lacking taste, the peanut butter sauce also had no flavor at all, at first I thought i had covid but then i tried the soup and i was able to taste flavor so not bad. I probably wouldn’t come here again since there was nothing that really would bring me back here, customer service is not too bad 3 out of 5 and food is 3 out of 5

My partner and I got the fried rolls, BBQ pork bahn mi, and beef combo pho. Everything was absolutely delicious! The pho was the best I ever had. We will definitely be coming back!

Havent had Pho is years and the ox-tail pho was really good. With a scoop of the in house chili paste gave it the perfect amount of heat that didnt punch you on the face then fade away, it was a constant and pleasant heat.Also the chocolate milk tea is VERY chocolaty is the best way without being a sweetness bomb.

Stopped in on this spot this weekend. Ordered the Bahn mi as a test to see the quality of the place. I expected to finish half of my order but ended up scarfing the whole thing. The bread was perfect and the meat not overly seasoned.On top of that I ordered spring rolls and unlike prior reviews I got fresh greens and they were HUGE. Great flavors all around.Today I stopped in to try out their pho, ordered the beef combo and am not going to leave disappointed whatsoever.Great addition to the food scene in Belmont, as a local I will be returning regularly

During my experience, the customer service is good. I order the Vegan Beef Vermicelli Bowl. The Mung Bean Sprouts are crispy and juicy. The carrots are slightly sweet, crisp, and moist though not juicy. The lettuce mixture is tastier with the accompanying dressing like sauce. One peanut can literally overwhelm a bite of the meal without accompanying sauces. The seasoning makes the Vegan Beef taste good, and the accompanying onions are decent. The meal has a strong smell though tastes good overall especially with the Chili Oil. The interior of the store is nice (decor and organization). I dont know why the water tastes kind of funky during my visit, as I dont know the water source. The establishment accepts digital forms of payment.

So good! Called in take out - got pho, beef garlic noodles, and chicken fried rice. Food was ready timely (15min) and service was excellent! Flavors did not disappoint, each dish was so good! I have a new favorite pho spot. I will definitely be back!

Great food!Ive been here twice and have tried the fresh shrimp and tofu spring rolls with terrific accompanying sauce, flavorful chicken fried rice, shrimp pho with delicious broth, and the lovely Lychee fruit tea! Yum! Totally coming here again... and bringing more friends.Mangosteen has a clean, modern atmosphere, primarily indoors with a couple of outdoor tables. Friendly and helpful customer service.

This is by far the best Pho I have ever had. My partner and I have gone back again and again because of the incredible food, but also because of the kindness of the owners and staff. We have tried many dishes on the menu and are NEVER disappointed. The owners, Ben and Chris, and absolutely lovely, and could not be more welcoming or personable. This place is truly worth supporting, and I highly suggest making it your go- to Pho place! 😍

This place is the best! I have ordered a wide selection from their menu and have loved everything. Their sandwiches are amazing, the bread is light with a wonderful crust. I love how their meat is flavored, and my wife loves their vegan meat. The spring rolls are an amazing meal unto themselves. The pho brings tears to my eyes, the brisket pho is so savory. Im a huge fan of this place, the employees care so much about their food. Several times they have called me after I placed an online order to clarify what I wanted. Mangosteen is definitely on my regular food rotation.Oh yeah, try their chicken wings!

This place is a definite must. The spring roll salmon roll and the Vietnamese roll all were great tasting and leave you wanting more. Im from the Caribbean and flavor is a must in foods. This place delivered and held their name. The owner is a diligent and courteous person, he served us and tended to our needs no problem. If you havent tried it you should. Ill definitely be back next time Im in California.

I am sorry to report that this business while I applaud their bravery in opening during the pandemic, I have found their food wanting.We ordered lemongrass pork Bahn Mi combo with their coffee. We also ordered spring roll just to try.Overall, all the greens were slightly wilted tasting. The meat tasted pretty good, but it was covered in so much mayo that it ruined the whole experience. The marinated cabbage had no flavor. The spring roll (along with the wilted mixed green) was flavorless and the dipping sauce equally unfortunate.We asked for spicy Bahn Mi, but we have not tasted a remote hint of heat.Skip the coffee, it was flavorless and weak.

I have stopped by this place 4 times in the last 2 months. Of those 4 times, I have only been able to place an order once as they seem to close early frequently. Lucky for me that I live within walking distance. When I say early I mean from 45 min to an hour early. The one time they were open, I ordered the Beef Pho. While I will say it was pretty tasty (very rich, flavorful broth) it was very minimal in the way of any ingredients other than the noodles. I believe I counted about 4 pieces of beef in the Large size. Very few onions, bean sprouts, etc... Its a shame because I would really like to give them another go..... but wont bother due to the erratic closing times. If you want to want to eat there its probably best to show up before 8 (closing time is supposed to be 9). Any later and you risk walking up to a locked door.

The best Pork Bahn Mi on the planet. From the bread to the flavor there is no better sandwich in Long Beach. The house made chilli sauce makes it even better. Go here great friendly staff, fast service, great food!

Have tried to eat here multiple times at various hours and they seem to always be closed. Today i came at 7pm an hour well before it states they closed and it seems like they have been closed for hours if not all day.(After response from owner)No need to yell about reading the sign. How about you update Google directory since thats what we are currently using.

Went for Bahn Mi, was insanely disappointed to the point where Im writing my first google review.I got the grilled pork Bahn Mi. The pork tasted like american pulled pork and was dry somehow. The sandwich came with way too much lettuce. There was barely any cilantro, the vegetables on the sandwich were not pickled, there were two single slices of jalepeno which tasted bitter and overwhelming. The bread was fineMaybe the other kinds are better, but I will not be coming here again if I want Bahn Mi.

Ran by only a wife and a husband, no employees. Very rude throughout the entire service, if you can even call it service. Food was not good either. One of the worst restaurant service in my experience, treat you like youre in McDonalds, dont waste your time and money here. Stay away.
