Manila Sunset never fails to impress with their delicious offerings. The bibingka is an absolute delight, offering a perfect blend of flavors and textures that truly ignite the taste buds. The sago’t gulaman, on the other hand, didn’t meet expectations, as it lacked the desired flavor balance. Despite that, Manila Sunset remains a go-to spot for its standout bibingka that’s sure to leave you craving for more.

Manila Sunset is one of my go to places to get quick Filipino food. They offer 2 item combos with rice and free soup thats good value. Food is delicious and served hot. Would definitely recommend.

Got the grilled bangus (milkfish), grilled squid, and halo halo. The grilled squid is a small amount with lots of rice, taste like dillis (salty & sweet small fish). The bangus (milkfish), tastes bland not enough seasonings and the atchara (pickled papaya) is spoiled. The halo halo, has a hint of sprite (not traditional flavor) and doesn’t taste like halo halo but watered down milk.

We ordered pancit marabon tray to go. Everyone who ate it has severe stomach pain. I think this restaurant recycles unsold the pancit which easily get spoiled.

Cute hole in the wall dining locale, been a family favorite for years and it was my first time trying out the food. I was not disappointed. Amazing flavors, good portion size and prices ! Will definitely come back to try the other dishes :)

My wife & I stopped by while we were in California. I’ll give her review since she is Filipina and she ordered most of our lunch. Aside from no air conditioning on a hot 104 degree day, which is brutal. She said the palabok was dry and she had to ask for more sauce, the lupiang Shang hai was great and my favorite part of the meal. Anyhow, if you stop by while it’s hot, order it to go if that A.C. Is still out. 🤣

No air conditioning on several occasions. Server rude, unapologetic after serving burnt food. Last time no fried foods, fryer was not working. Overpriced. Food not good quality. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

Food is good, but they need to upgrade their customer service skills. I once called to place an order 30 minutes before they closed and i was told they couldnt do it because they were closing in 30 minutes....?? really? I thought customers were first priority - guess not. On another occasion, I called to place another order and the phone kept ringing until i got the answering machine, with no option to leave my name and number. When they improve the customer service experience, Ill add the extra two stars - earn them well and youll get your reward and maybe even get new clientele.

Verify the price & size of your order before paying or giving your credit card. Be sure you heard it loud & clear. The cashier & the server were quite dishonest & cunning. The price of a couple of orders I was told was lower than what I was charged for. Upon arrival at my home I checked my receipt & the price I paid for was ridiculously high! Double check your receipt before you leave the cashier.

Their food is consistently good for nearly 40 years. They were crowded with all tables occupied and many were taking food to go including us. We got enough food for several meals and some deserts all excellent.

I went to this restaurant before it was remodeled and I really liked it. Last Thursday, I had lunch there since the good, old memories brought me there. However, I was very disappointed!The egg roll was only 1/3 size of the normal size and it was lacking the vegetables inside and over fried; the beef soup was in a very small cup and all the vegetables on the top was about to fall off the cup; the famous Philipino pancit or fry noodle, was not the authentic or original : there were only 3 pieces of small shrimps on the top, not even a small piece of egg or squid or cooked vegetables. The amount of food was very small and the beef in the soup was very tough. I spent 15 $ for lunch but I left half hungry.I miss the previous, old memory and the food in this same location, but not now.

The taste of the pancit Malabon remains constantly good. However, theyre usually cold and doesnt seem freshly made anymore. The noodles should at least be warm. I hate eating newly ordered but cold noodkes.

Really cute, cozy place with a pleasant atmosphere. Good service. Food was hot and flavorful not too spicy or too salty.We had crispy pata and kare kare, both good. No complaints. I think they were $8.95 each or close to that. Had halo-halo for dessert (they had several Filipino desserts to choose from). Parking is limited. We were lucky to get a spot quickly when someone left, cuz all the other spots were taken.Most of the visitors while we were there got their food to go (it was a Saturday evening).I thinkt their hours are 10:30am to 7:30pm.

Filipino cuisines. This place is OK in regard to the food. This is located in a heavily dense Filipino area, so there are better options to chose from.We have ordered multiple party sized platters and they werent too bad. Overall, the restaurant is nothing special.

Worst service of all. Will finish up getting all orders first then when the store is already jampacked, then will start getting all their orders. I waited for almost an hour just for halo halo. And I ended up getting a watery halo halo. Rude people, Im warning you...

I live in a walking distance to this plaza. I always enjoy eating restaurants nearby but never really walked in this one. So we went in, and its like a cafeteria type of restaurant. There was only 1 girl working, half the restaurant was full of people, waiting for their orders. We ordered and ordering wasnt traffic jam line, and little did we know that our food would arrive 40 minutes later.Cafeteria style of restaurant is almost similar to fast food, but 40 minutes wait was a little too much of a wait time.Not only that, the food was too salty. But for the price of $5.95 a meal with 2 choices of entres, and lots of rice, small dessert and a small cup of soup, is not a bad deal.

My colleagues bought saging na turon and Pancit palabok in the restaurant. It was the best so far that I had tasted. Coming from Florida, Filipino restaurants are not as good as in California. My colleagues had raved about this restaurant and they were right.Kudos. Eating at this restaurant reminds me of Food courts in the malls back in the Philippines, but tastes 100% better. Nothing negative really, just good Pinoy food!

I came here with my girl on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy! So much so that it took more than half an hour for us to get our food after we ordered. It certainly doesnt help that theres only one person working the cash register and taking orders. And, it turns out, shes also the same person who brings out the order from the kitchen!The Lechon Kawai was probably the best dish out of the four that we tried. The Chicken Adobe was alright. The beef stew was too salty and the pork chop was too dry.$5.95 for a two entree dish with two scoops of white rice, soup, salad and dessert. It was definitely affordable.

This small Filipino restaurant has been around this area for many years . Came in one day and wanted some pancit malabon . Soon realizing they offered 2 item combos . For the price it was great I ended up ordering the Lechon kawali and fried lumpia . The Lechon kawali was perfectly made with the skin bubbling up. It wasnt greasy as heck, crisp to perfection and the meat was very moist .
