Jennifer is the best! She will make your Korean BBQ experience amazing. Delicious food. My kids recommend the corn cheese and the pork belly and steamed egg. I loved the teriyaki chicken.

Very nice overall. I had the bulgogi, spicy pork belly and some chadol ( thin cut brisket) and it was all very tasty. The staff also are very attentive to regularly rotating the grills and the side dishes are always great accompaniment.My friend and I didn’t make full use of the all you can eat style but it was still very worth it for quality and I could have stayed longer or come in hungrier and eaten even more very happily.There will often be birthday songs and celebrations nearby. Maybe I just came on a birthday heavy day tho 😅

Very busy Korean BBQ. Usually theres a wait, but takes about 15-20 minutes to get seated. The staff tends to be very attentive unless is overly busy. All food always looks and tastes fresh. Flavors are just great, the price is decent foe the quality and amount of food you can eat.

Manna was very good. We enjoy our time there and it was a fun experience for my daughter. The only downside was that we went on a Monday evening and the restaurant was under staffed. So it to extra long to get start and they missed a few items we order. We also never received the corn cheese that we ordered twice. But the staffed were very nice and were apologetic about the mistakes. With that said the meats were delicious. Really good sides. I definitely would go again

My family and I have had some frustrating experiences coming here. There are these two older women we usually get as our servers that always have the meanest looks, terrible customer service attitudes, and will try to hurry us up with ordering and STILL forget 1 thing out of the 5 things we ask for. Our latest visit, they kept giving us cold dumplings and when we complained and asked for warm/hot ones, they still gave us cold ones. Our server only asked us if we wanted to order more 3 times when we had a bigger group and she wouldnt let us order more than a few things at a time. She was also nowhere to be found for the most part. She would toss the plates onto the table and quickly walk away before we could ask for anything else.I gave this 2 stars in service instead of 1 because literally anyone other than these 2 women were very nice and attentive- but we rarely got anyone else to serve us.Regarding the menu, we very much love the variety this place has compared to other korean bbq places nearby. Its definitely a little pricier than what I usually pay, but its good quality! I would love to come here more...but service really sucks. :( Its not an enjoyable experience to be ignored and hungry- and hurried when we do get someone to take our order. We came on a thursday afternoon, the place wasnt even half full- I dont get why service was so bad. :/

This was my first time here and it was greart! All the staff was super friendly and helpful. You pay one price per person and its all you can eat meat. It is a good size location and its super clean. The exciting part is that you cook your own meat. Exciting to me but maybe not for everyone else. Will definitely go back.

When you come in you’ll have to get on the wait list but if you have help you can check your place in line through the app! Definitely recommend getting here at a decent time or anticipate a wait!I love coming here.m! So do my friends! We always start with the beef belly and beef brisket because it’s thin and cooked quick! For sides I get a steamed egg, their ramen and a side of ssamjang with white rice. It’s always a great experience.

Service was good when it would show up. Didnt automatically fill my water cup had to ask. When we pressed the button on table buzzed but staff just kept walking around us till I had to catch one and ask for what we needed. Table next to us pressed buzzer a second time as they would not get help.

Our 19yr old son went during Christmas 2021 to this Manna BBQ San Marcos location and told us that he & friends were served with Styrofoam and paper plates on everything except the soy sauce and pepper/salt dish. We thought maybe that Manna did that because they were kids or their dish washer called in sick. But today 2/21/22, my husband and I were too served with paper plates/bowls and red plastic cups for our water. We were shocked to pay $26.99 per person and get served this way. No sign or explanation as to why they are conducting business this way now. The food was good as usual. No complaints on that. We sent a photo of table to our son and he said his table looked a lot worse like he was at a house party.

When Im too lazy to drive to Orange County or San Diego for Korean BBQ I come here.A few times I visited I was not happy but I still keep coming back because this is the best AYCE in North County which is sad.The dipping sauce is still the best. I stick to the basic meats, Pork Jowl, Pork Belly and Brisket. The ban chan are good portions. Careful which selection of menu you order. A1 is the more costly one.Visited 4.15.19 and the server who placed our brisket on the grill also put plastic. Errr had to grab my chopsticks and take it off since it was melting. When I told her she just looked at me. The meats are alright. The jowl was a bit huge. Needed to cut it in half.Oh well, when I want KBBQ this is a go to for me but keep in mind its just alright. There are better ones out there.

Probably one of the largest AYCE KBBQ places we’ve been to. Definitely advise checking in prior to going there to avoid the really long wait times. Only part we disliked was how all the meat that came out hadn’t had time to thaw from being in the freezer for prep so it going directly to the grill was not good not only for cooking but also flavor. That said, make sure to season and add sauces to your food choices!

So if its just 2 people, Id recommend that, or else they bring large portions.. and youre charged for leftovers.They have a bunch of sides/garnishes placed at the table upon being seated. This is a fun place to eat - choose your meat, cook it on the hibachi at your table, lots of little sides... And its all good quality and delicious! We are so stuffed when we leave, but always want to eat more because it tastes so good. The staff is attentive and friendly - Jennifer made a few choices for us, and they were awesome! Its a little pricey to go all the time, but I feel you definitely get your moneys worth. Go hungry - its all you can eat!

A well-done (haha get it?) Korean barbecue spot with a wide selection menu and beer. The upper tier all you can eat menu has thin sliced bulgogi, squid, as well as many other meat selections for I think $30-35 dinner price. Half liter beer bottles were $6 I think. The nice ladies there are swift to cook your food and will let you know how to do it if you ask. We had a party of 6 and were able to be seated within 10 min despite it being 7pm or so. Id go back if the event came up.

It was my first time trying kbbq. I was very excited because I know alot of people that told me they like it. I am a bit of a picky eater and I dont like eating large pieces of meat fat so for me, I am not going to go back again. The salad was delicious. I liked the dressing on the lettuce. It was a great atmosphere and nice service. They charge $8 for a to go box.

I love that we have a bomb A.Y.C.E. KBBQ spot in N. County. My wife and I always get the A1 menu and it costs us around $61 out the door. The sides are always delicious, with the Potato Salad and Kimchi being the best. The house salad and dressing are on point and very refreshing alongside the all you can eat meat. My favorite meats are the Beef Tongue, Pork Jowl, Shrimp, bulgogi and the Galbi. The Galbi is the most seasoned meat dish, besides the spicy pork belly, but the Pork Jowl is the most flavorable. My normal wait time is about 15 minutes to get a table and no longer than 30 minutes(Ive never been with a group larger than 4 people). The staff is friendly and they even have a doorbell to press if youre in a hurry. I recommend this place to any meat eater.

Smallish busy restaurant in a strip mall across the street from Costco. We were a party of 8 adults and 4 kids for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ.i think they schedule reservations too tightly because we had to wait 30 minutes from our scheduled reservation time. They limit you to 2 hours which is fine but they need to factor in clean up and set up between reservations. If youre the last reservation of the evening, I think youll be waiting a long time to be seated.The meat dishes were good, the banchan side dishes skimpy and they were very slow to refill them. We had ordered steamed egg dishes which they (and we) forgot about until halfway through the meal and we had to ask for again.The restaurant was full at 4pm Sunday, the staff work hard and non-stop, there are numerous TV sets lining the walls (on mute) so you can catch sports, news, etc if youre interested, its loud and bustling.Overall pretty good food.

My family and I love Manna. We come here at least one a month and are never disappointed in quality or service. Its all you can eat style, with unlimited sides. There are two menu options, A or B. So much bbq! The first time I’ve ever done this. I loved the option of all the meats and the appetizers. The all you can eat is definitely the way to go. Some of my favorite selections included the squid and vegetables. I can’t recall the different beef types but wow they were all super good. Not something I’d do regularly since it’s pricey but fun to do with friends.

Terrible service!! Rude waitress! She even came by and took the plate out of our hand and poured it onto the hot plate when we were trying to carefully pour to not put the fire out. Of course she made the fire die down & ruin the meat. Whats the point of going to Korean bbq if you cant cook it yourself how you want it?? Shout out to Don for being an awesomely excellent server who was patient and was just ready to give us whatever we need. I personally loved their Japchae and their meat was so, so good! I highly recommend this Korean BBQ place. They were friendly and the ambiance was also peaceful and you’ll truly enjoy eating there. I give this restaurant a 6 out of 5! I have visited San Marcos, Mira Mesa and Clairemont Mesa locations.San Marcos is by far the best. Staff is attentive, diligent and they make sure things are well prepared.Clairemont Mesa overcharged us more than $30 and despite our complaints the manager did not show up. They never cleaned or exchanged grill.But in San Marcos is the other way around, the best.Perhaps just add dessert to your menu.

First time here and I was adequately satisfied.The meat quality was fine, and the service was great. My main issues were the presentation. For what they charged, I believe 27 dollars for the regular AYCE, they handed me and my party the meats on cheap, Costco brand paper plates. The waters were in plastic cups of the same style. While this didnt detract from the meal itself, I was not very fond of it, especially for what they were charging. The bulgogi we ordered made the plates very soggy, and was rather annoying.Shoutouts to our servers Corrina and the gentleman with the curly hair. (I unfortunately was not able to get his name). Edit: So disappointed to be editing my review but I’ve had some pretty lame experiences since my original post. The food has stayed stable which is nice they changed a few things here and there but aren’t detrimental to the menu. What’s severely declined is happy servers. The women they have serving are just plain spiteful! There are one MAYBE two that are nice and actually smile at you or are kind but majority of the waitresses here are SO RUDE. We almost got up and left last time we went because how can you enjoy the food when someone is giving you a mad dog if you order food. We’re at a restaurant…. I don’t understand the problem. But trust if you order food from certain waitresses you’ll be met with scowls and rolling eyes as if you’re some kind of absolute inconvenience. Because How could you possibly want food at an all you can eat restaurant?!. If you watch carefully you can also see some painfully obvious discrimination. Like when other Vietnamese or Korean families visit they get very very special treatment. But if you’re not of those descents then get used to being ignored and blown off and given dirty looks. Also regardless of race if you’re a couple you get put on the bottom of the list. Parties take priority here. Family’s with loud children are fawned over and people who are respectful and quiet are ignored. We had a waitress completely blow us off and not come back after we placed our first order. A party of 5 showed up and she wouldn’t even LOOK at us. It was so bizarre. Luckily this opened an opportunity for the one very nice waitress to help us. We’ve been going to this place for years and it never used to be this way. Unfortunately this has continuously ruined our recent experiences and we’re going to have to write off manna as our go to place. Being treated like a burden at a restaurant you’re paying 100 dollars to have one meal is really unacceptable. They won’t be seeing my money anytime soon. Please hire happy workers manna we miss our excellent service you used to provide!Original review: This is continuously my favorite Korean bbq place. Great sides good meat selection but the only down side is when you order the premium menu they only allow you to have one steak. They limit how many portions you can request from the premium menu which to me is kind of lame being an all you can eat place. Also they don’t offer Kobe or wagu. But otherwise great sides great service fresh meat just wish they had a better premium selection.

I have been here twice. Food is good. The service was very different. First time was overall good. Second time the waitress didnt even bother to ask if we need a grill change or order new food. She just handed us the bill after like 30 minutes dining. The waiting time was also really long. They might be understaffed during lunch time, well but the price was the same as dinner. I cannot say enough about this place mainly because the people who work there treat you like family. They make every effort to make sure that every visit that you have is a good one. They are constantly checking to make sure that you have enough food and are very conscious about the quality and the care of their establishment. They have done more than the average restaurant to keep things safe during this plandemic and their mechanical system actually keeps it safer than most restaurants due to the nature of their design. They are very accommodating to handicapped and children and I have no problem giving them a 10 out of 10. We as a family are always grateful for their support.

Waiter was really disrespectful. She wouldnt reply when we asked for something. She forgot to order some of our food, then brought the wrong amount of it, and it was over cooked. We had to ask for forks and spoons repeatedly, to which she made a rude remark about how the spoon is for the corn, not the rice. A cool/unique experience definitely worth checking out. You cook your food at the table, and they provide a good amount of both food and sauces. Its all you can eat, and there are 2 choices when you select which type of menu access you have. I do recommend going for the more expensive option, its $30 a person, but its so worth it. Everything served was fresh and excellent. I went with the spicier options on the menu, or Cajun flavored since I prefer a good amount of spice. They do also provide a chili sauce if want to spice things up even more. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

We come to this Manna regularly, and the staff is always friendly. The food portions are average for a Korean BBQ, but the service slows down after your second round. My wife and I like to take our time when ordering and usually do 3-4 smaller rounds of food with about 2 items each. Food selection is superb, and the Soju is always nice and cold. When ordering get large amounts at once. Remember to take care of your server and tip 20%+! Restaurants all over are understaffed and we appreciate the employees at this Manna.

Ive been here multiple times, and honestly the staff are just not as friendly. Like they just want you in and out. I happened to get there right before they opened, and when I asked if they were open the girl at the counter snapped at me 11:30. Her attitude alone almost turned me away. Also Im not sure if its because Im a black woman but I often am stared at by others for no reason really while Im dining. Its a diverse area though, so sometimes I wonder if the employees arent as friendly to me because of it. If there was another Kbbq restaurant close by, Id be going there.

Amazing KBBQSome notes:They provide helpful allergy notes on the menu for people who cant have soy or wheat. I wish all kbbq places did that!The pork cheek is fantastic and its great to find a place that has it.Their bibimbap is standard bowl not a hot stone pot. Comes with a triple portion of the beansprouts and baby spinach plus shredded carrots with the rice (rice is warm veggie are cold).The corn & cheese fondue comes out hot and sizzling on a cast iron fajita tray, not a cold foil DIY cup. Nobody else does that afaik, and its awesome.

The meat here is so very good. I recommend the highest level of buffet if you want the best. I cant say enough about the pork belly, bulgogi and the steak. Cooked properly they alone make it worth it. The service here is also fairly good. The servers check on you a lot and dont mind getting bothered for more.I suggest having someone that really knows how to cook meat with you. The difference between properly cooked and not is huge here because there are so many kinds including seafood. One thing I would watch out for is the night cut-off. If you come late you may be left hanging when they stop serving a half hour before they close.

We went on Friday July 9, we arrived around 7:20 pm make reservation, was told it will be around 30 minutes to 1 hour.Drive to Costco fill gas etc., came back in 35 minutes and check and was told not ready yet. Wait till 8:20 pm and I asked the hostess and she told us soon. Wait till 8:35 and nobody call, and I see a lot of table empty, four or five tables. Asked one of the hostess, and was told soon again, wait until 8:47pm ; finally, I went inside asked one lady that looks like manager and was told they messed up, prepared table of four instead of five, and totally forgot about us outside waiting. This is totally unacceptable, we were waiting outside by the entrance which easily could be seen; on top of that they are closing at 10:30 pm. We have to eat fast and not enjoying our dinner at all. Unacceptable, forgot about customer which is on your computer, how could it be?????

A place my wife and I have enjoyed for years. They are still holding strong and even reinvented their menu once or twice but I feel this current version and current staff are the strongest. Servers are attentive without being too overbearing. Wed like to say that the beef options are where they shine the most, specifically the bulgogi, boneless beef ribs and beef brisket. But I cant stress enough, do not forget to try the side dishes on the A1 or A2 menus. A steamed egg sounds simplistic compared to the BBQ, but mostly the white in a bowl with a mix of onion adds a nice refreshing flavor in between hearty bites. The Corn Cheese is a sweet and tangy note to add along with your marinaded meats. There is a lot on offer here in a clean and organized location.

Food is delicious but all the servers have a different idea of where the flame should be. Every time one would walk by they either turn it up or down while our meat is cooking. I understand needing to adjust it but in one sitting they adjusted it 10+ times! They also walk up and flip the meat without saying a word to you. We just put some on, a server walked up and flipped it or would pour more meat on the grill before we were ready . My family and i love coming here. Weve been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is amazing, grilling your own food is awesome, and the brisket sauce is to die for! The cut of meat are thinly cut and some of them come sauced up which taste super yummy. I would recommend to anyone who likes interacting while eating and enjoy side dishes like kimchi, rice, korean spinach, and so many pther sides. Only down side is that there is a wait and sometimes it can be more than an hour long, but that just shows how many people love this place. Arrived to eat an early dinner at 4:15pm. Restaurant was not even half full and the host sat us at a table closest to restrooms,kitchen And right next to a wet floor sign. I asked the host if we could sit in a booth since they were all empty and he went and asked the head hostess and came back and told me NO! and I asked if those tables were reserved with reservations and he told me that they were not. Positive we were seated fairly quickly, but as we sat down our server seemed not too happy with us (before being actually served), and we even ended having another we dont know why, but she ended serving a different table and we were left just asking for assistance from different staff. The flame on the table was low because the tank was going out instead of seating us another table they still sat us down, which made the cooking process a lot slower. They didnt ask if we had been there before, refill drinks or sauces, or give us any direction. It felt like we were chasing them around for any help (we had to keep asking other servers questions because ours didnt check on us) and we didnt get all the help we would have liked in general. (ie: we were done eating before I got the chance to ask for a drink refill, I never got a refill on the main sauce which was gone for over half our meal because I poured most of it on my rice. Very disappointed in our visit. My 4 kids and I went for dinner paying full adult prices plus one kid price. They did not give us what we ordered but instead the cheap meat in abundance that they threw on the grill before we could stop them. When I ordered additional portions of items we wanted,they took quite long to be served only to have the plate half full. One order of baby octopus came with 4 little pieces. If we have to pay full price for 13 year olds, I expect to receive portions equal to adults who pay the same. I love Korean BBQ, but I think I had been spoiled going to restaurants in Asian influenced towns. I was expecting what I had before and the expectations werent met. However, they are much better than the other local options. This is an all you can eat place so make sure you workout beforehand or are starving because no point in paying $30 and eating one type of meat. This is a great place for larger groups of people regardless what option you go with (one is $25 and one is $30 per person, it just depends how many varieties of meat you would like to choose from). If you go with just two, it can be done but kind of sucks. The reason being you both get full and have only tried a few meat choices. My other biggest thing was that they did not have the sauces and oils I was expecting and that one of their sides was flipping Mac n cheese. Okay I get it lots of white people who are scared of different foods live here, but really? Yall just bring out Mac n cheese automatically, ew. I didnt eat it because I wasnt there for Mac n cheese, I was there for delicious flavorful and fantastic meat. My server was the bomb, she taught me a new way to cook the meat. If you cut the big hunks, especially if you have chicken, it goes so much faster in cooking. My only other issue was that they didnt bring me an extra plate for the meat that was done. I could have used the plate that the meat came on, but thats raw meat ew. So I dumped some of the sides out and used those plates. I am sure if you ask they will bring you extras as Im sure if you ask for the other sauces and the sesame oil with salt seasoning in it, they will deliver. Not my favorite, but for this area so far its the best for the taste of Korean BBQ, cook it yourself all you can eat!

This our go to place when we are in the area. All you can eat BBQ. The meat is flavorful. I always get the Bulgogi. They have a large selection of meats. Seafood limited shrimp or squid. This place never ceases to please the senses. From when you first walk in and smell the meat cooking to the wait area and you hear the sizzle and bustling conversation to finally sampling each delicious side while your chosen meat comes, Manna is a great place to take the family. More often than not I will leave unbearably full because the food is that hard to put down. Partly an excuse to come here almost weekly, but basically I really wanted to get a feel for the place. Most people that come here were driving down to the Kearny location, but live up here anyhow. I was calling almost daily getting mixed answers until it became Facebook Official.KBBQ the bain of my diet, but worth it. The AYCE game really pairs well with KBBQ so its almost natural. Part of my comparison is to the Kearny location and thats because its the original for many including myself. The price is right on level with other places, but they do have a better menu selection. Ive actually never gotten the less expensive offering because I have my food down to a science. I stay away from seafood and chicken since Korea is a pig culture so you get pork belly, and that thinly sliced beef brisket or what I call meat roll ups on the first pass then bulgogi and others on the 2nd then change grill tops then do the first two again. The bulgogi here is a little fatty and the marinade isnt as penetrating as other places, not as pungent either. I actually found the spicy chicken to be dry and poorly seasoned, off putting almost. The service is good, but there can be a slight language barrier with a few of the servers. The banchan is everything youd expect and I got the egg pot for free. I could use more sauces to flavor it all up. I dont recommend coming here dressed well or in a suit as you will smell afterwards, good vents, but thats part of the KBBQ game. Even my wool suits carry some of that odor.Its a new interior and compared to Kearny its bigger, better and nicer. I found the knee space to be a little cramped and Im not a tall man. Not quite 5 starts, but getting there. a relief to have my KBBQ commute cut in half.

Really good stuff, but also pretty pricey and the waitresss do this weird thing where they all stand together and stare at the people eating their food from the kitchen area. I understand your trying to keep me from eating raw chicken or whatever im cooking but be a bit less obvious as well as awkward.

Staff is super helpful and friendly so dont be afraid to ask questions and be open to recommendations. All the food is top notch, but you can get half orders of anything if you arent sure its something youll be in to.

Its ok, I walked in without a clue as to the style of restaurant I let the waitress know it was our first time she was good trying to explain but her heavy accent made it hard, the place was full I guess lots of people like that, its not mine or my fiance style tho, theres a type of grill at each table and you order wether you like to cook beef or chicken or pork and they bring it to you along with vegetables and you just cook for yourself pretty much... you shouldnt wear fancy clothes for ovious reasons, I dont think I would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.

The less busy Manna of the 3 Ive been to. Cant beat the 20 dollar all you can eat! Dont waste your money on the seafood or more expensive kobe beef options. Remember the 2 hour time limit starts when your party sits down so make sure youre all there before youre seated.
