Manna BBQ was awesome from start to finish! Food was incredible and at a great price and they had an array of gluten free options which was awesome for me. That staff was friendly and attentive. It is very crowded on the weekends BUT we put our name on the waitlist and its much faster than the predicted time. We were sat so quickly even when there were 24 parties ahead of us. Its worth the wait!

Went there during lunch hours to avoid the wait. A meal for one for $27 is like a serving for 2 people. The food is delicious and filling. I always find an opportunity to visit as often as I would find the time. Bring a friend or your family. This spot does not disappoint.

Had an absolutely fantastic time. Celebrated my birthday with 12 people and they were very accommodating of such a large party. I was even called by the restaurant to confirm the registration and they wished me a happy birthday as well. Lots of good food. An 18% gratuity was added because of the large party, but we had a blast. They let us stay and didnt kick us out after the 2 hour mark. We ended up leaving at the 3 hour mark as more people started to come in and need the tables. Will definitely be back. Prepare to spend about $40 to $50 a person if you order alcohol. Parking is very iffy with a small lot and Google Maps isnt clear on direction so you will need to park in the lot with the bank and walk over but its not a far walk. Very little options for vegetarians.

Went there last night with my cousin. The service wasn’t too good.As soon as we were seated snd started eating, I noticed the meat tasted weird. But I thought nothing of it.The next morning, my cousin has what I presume is food poisoning and is throwing up like crazy.

I asked to remove the appetizers since I dont eat them and I dont waste food .thats why they are not in the pictures.Its very similar to Manna mira mesa. But,Chadol had a lot more fat than the Mira mesa one.Pork belly was a little thinner than usual strips. But since its all you can eat, it doesnt really matter.The service was very good. Yet, it took a little longer to seat me, and the restaurant was 80% empty.Clean.Clean grills. And they replaced mine once it got a little burnt.Cant say enough about how helpful the staff was. They will answer all your questions.Your moneys worth here like no other.Its all you can eat, I personally order one or 2 things at a time.They are very nice not to charge if you had a few bites left over, but if you order a lot and leave the table with food all over, they will charge you for it. Thats why, to me, ordering 1 or 2 items is the best, so the food is not wasted.

We selected the A1 Premium BBQ and the food overall was excellent.Just like in most korean bbq restaurants, we get the chance to bbq our own meats of your choice in the menu.The salads were delicious and went well with the bbq mix. The sliced radish and thin films of rice cake was an interesting option to eat your meat with and its not something I commonly find in most korean bbqs.Cheese corn is also a must try. Will definitely come back again for another treat of korean bbq.

Came here on a Tuesday during dinner time. The wait was very short, the staff were very attentive, and most importantly the food was delicious. They have two tiers to choose from for All-You-Can-Eat, but even the cheaper tier has plenty of amazing food. All sorts of meats and sides are available and you cook it all yourself on the table grill. I will definitely be back!

Food quality is good, the service was definitely lagging. Server was not tending to us throughout our visit. Make sure to arrive 1.5 hour in advance to put yourself down on the waitlist. Overall dont think Ill be comi g back just because of the lack in service and waiting time.

What in gods name did my wife and I eat! Not only was the service bad, but this swine/swill was not in the slightest authentic Korean food - and this is coming from a Korean. The quality of the meat was below par, and our waitress was careless and judgmental that we did not enjoy our food. She didn’t even realize our grill wasn’t on so we totally wasted what could’ve been a decent sear. The beef was tough and sinewy and our pork was subpar. If you do end up here, ask for a side of sesame oil, because the ponzu they serve isn’t okay. There wasn’t a Korean in sight, minus our Asian waitress whom I had to enunciate every order to. One of our orders never even came, but thank god this had a preset price for an all you can eat. Still, this was a sore waste of 87 bucks. The white customers next to us were being extremely stereotypical and discriminatory towards my Korean ethnicity. We left as quick as we could in search of a better KBBQ restaurant.

Can be a wait, so be ready. Once at your table, the service was great. Meat order and delivery is pretty fast. Waiter/waitress was always on top of every. Quick to do grill changes. Bus servicenwas quick to get empty plates off the table.Cuts of meat were good. They offer lots of sides. Lettuce to make wraps. Butter to make tasty meats. If you’re new to Korean BBQ like me, then this place is perfect because they have an all you can eat menu for a great price and you can try every type of Korean barbecue dish. They give you lots of sides like solid pickled vegetables like kimchi etc. The staff is very friendly and multiple people will check in on you if you need anything else there’s also a button behind you that allows you to call the waiters! Highly recommend this.

The quality, specifically the marbling of the beef is not at all what they show in their advertising and in their pictures. Having said that, everything was really good anyways. I wanted to like this place. But unfortunately this place is not authentic Korean BBQ. The galbi I had did not taste like authentic galbi…mine were very thick pieces of dry beef…their marinade is totally off. We also ordered the spicy chicken and it was sweet instead of spicy. I’ve had great real Korean BBQ many times before and this was definitely not it. Look elsewhere if you want authentic.

Nothing special here. It just like any other Korean BBQ. I went here because my brother came to visit and he wanted Korean BBQ. They have 2 all you can eat to choose from. We chose options 2 which is $25.99 and was happy with it. The other premium option is $32.99. The staff were friendly and very helpful 😀

Been to manna a few times but this time was the worst experience. After putting my name on the waitlist which was about 35mins and only 2 groups in front me with no else after for a while. Tell me why the group of 8 that got there after me got sat before me and a bunch of other smaller groups got sat before, ended up being the last group seated and waited about an hour. There were other big table available but for some reason the hostess were not sitting my group there (6) there, making me wait. Kept saying that they were cleaning the table for 15 mins. I can clean the table faster, I’m already cooking for myself I could cleaned the table as well. I will not be going back. Good thing there are better kbbq restaurants

Overpriced to cook your own food. Love the concept and the main food for a first time experience. The appetizers were already on the table and they were dry and not cold.. the waiter was dry and very unattentive and completely disconnected. I had to wave him down for everything as it was a all you can eat concept and you needed for the proteins to be brought out every time, but the waiter told my fiance and I if we ate too much. they would start charging for the meat. I was not upset just didnt think charging extra for a $30 a person buffet as the waiter made this statement.. I felt like he really prefer we just not stay or engage.. the other female waiter was at least helpful. I wont be going back..

They have unlimited meet service which is a good catch. They replace the grilled quiet often. The meats are marinated well and sides are really tasty. Food is full of flavour. If you like meat and consider yourself a carnivore this is definitely a spot for you. Says all you can eat but there is a 2 hour time limit. I personally like the chicken meats some of the other beefs had a lot of fat on them and I don’t do fat. It’s still 5 stars because there are A lot of meats to choose from and the meats I did like had good flavor. Check it out for yourself.

Very conveniently located facing convoy! You cant miss this place. The decore is nice and the smells of the meats will hot you before you walk in! Be ready to uve your cloths smell like cooked meats! Not going to lie I was disappointed at this place ! The service is not good at all ! And while waiting for our food there was roaches falling from the ceiling ! We told one of the workers and they just ignored us. We ended up just getting the check and leaving. If you want to go to a manna restaurant this is not the one ! Try the one in mira mesa instead that one has amazing service and its way quicker then here. We rather drive 30 mins to get to that instead of this one we live in el cajon city.

Some meats require a little seasoning such as salt or soy sauce others do not. I suggest anything bulgogi cook and eat ! Good experience bring friends cooking on the grill could be a lot whilst trying to eat at the same time. They bring 5 meat selections at a time until your full. We ordered 10 maybe 12 meats for 5 people before we were all full. Suggest getting a bowl of rice on the side as well, it goes well with the meat. (Fried rice has meat flavor couldn’t make heads or tails of it.)

The premium menu is what we went with. The food and service is great. Remember you have a button at the table to call the server - but we didn’t even need it. This place has really great meats, decent price, AYCE, and quick service. The only downside is there is an extremely long wait on most nights. The waitlist option is never open online, so if you go on a Friday or Saturday evening, be prepared to wait up to two hours. You also have to stay in the area, as you only get 10 minutes to get back after your table is ready.

Luckily I was hungry and i could make the most of it.The bathroom was clean, they have knives and forks for those who dont know how to use chopsticks and you can ask for small portions if you want to try diferent things but arent very hungry. It tends to be crowded so we had to wait more than 20 minutes until we had our table ready.

The idea is a good one but how they go about it is horrible. I cannot recommend this place. They charge you for any extra food you leave but dont write your orders down so you are constantly getting the wrong food or waiting for them to bring everything you asked for. We had a large party(9) but we had a reservation so they should have been prepared. The beef was good the chicken was not. Most of the items they place on the table prior to being seated was wasted. Id rather go to Shoguns.

Wonderful time. Out of all the KBBQ places in San Diego this Manna location has been my favorite by far. The greeter always remembers her regulars and Ron, our server today, gave us probably the best experience that Ive had at any restaurant in a while. Love this place. This is one of my “go to” spots for All You Can Eat Korean BBQ. Prices are fair and they have two menus (regular and premium). So I just got out of work on my birthday and my girlfriend decides to surprise me with Korean barbecue! On Google the closing times are not accurate so we ended up showing up around 9:15 whenWe later found out they close at 10 (google said 11)My girl told them the situation as we had run out of options and an awesome server named ANGEL came up and said not to worry and took good care of us! Regardless of the fact that they were closing shortly they served us wonderfully with a huge smile the whole time and were nothing short of a pleasure to have around on my special day. The whole staff was amazing! Ill be asking for Angel every time, shes hands down my favorite! Thank you Manna!

This place serves excellent cuts of meat and they are quite attentive of your burner when it gets too crispy. Everything I’ve had there has been delicious and though it is 24.99$ for the cheaper menu, it has been worth it every time.

Great food and good service when it comes to meat. However I ordered a steamed egg as soon as I sat down and had to order it 5 more times before it came to the table. By the time it came out we were done with our meal and could not even eat it. Would be higher rating if it wasnt for this.

Great service! Food was good, too and the lunch all you can eat BBQ was a good deal. The beef bilgogi is a bit better at another local BBQ, as far as the marinade, but Mamnas was leaner and thinner sliced. Also they serve regular American wines.

I love Korean BBQ, and this is my go to place. Most of their menu items are good, for example my favorites are their brisket, bulgogi, gyeran-jjim (steamed eggs), and salad. I normally get around 3 salads, thats how good they are. I dont know the name of the salad, but there is no need because they will give you it as soon as you sit down. I am normally not an egg person, but I would eat their steamed eggs every other day if I could make them. Definitely try the eggs as an app. My two favorite beefs at this BBQ, their brisket and bulgogi are blind buys to have the Korean BBQ experience. The brisket is more like an appetizer, because they are thin pieces of meat that cook really fast. I recommend eating the brisket first when you start eating your meats. The bulgogi is a very tasty thicker beef. I would eat it second or third.This is a once a month restaurant. When you get there you are super exited and then after the meal you are completely sick of it. When you get to your 4th meat, you normally start feeling full. But while eating, its AMAZING.So, the reason I gave this restaurant a 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the medium quality food, the crowds, and some bad menu items. While the food tastes amazing for the most part, I do have to mention that it is medium - low quality food. I would warn people that only want to eat the best quality foods. Also, the crowds are crazy. It is jam-packed. There are dozens of people there and I would be extra careful with COVID. Finally there are some bad items on the menu, such as the ribeye with rosemary. This is not my favorite, because its a plain piece of steak, and the rosemary in my opinion, tastes weird.All in all, I would definitely recommend this Korean BBQ. Make sure to get the brisket, bulgogi, gyeran-jjim (steamed eggs), and their one salad. And keep in mind the the medium quality food, the crowds, and some bad menu items. I love Korean BBQ and this is my go to place out of all the ones in SD, make sure to try it!

Came here with a friend for dinner. Had to wait about 30 minutes. All I had known was it was all you can eat Korean BBQ, and I was pretty excited to try all the different styles.I didnt realize it was cook your own until ordering, but that shouldnt have been a problem. However, the red letters on the menu stating that any leftover food would be charged on full was a bit annoying. I mean I understand the policy but it felt restrictive, particularly when I was hoping to try many styles and the first two orders came out as big portions. We were barely able to finish a third portion. For about $25 a piece, I almost would have rather just ordered one dish a piece and had it cooked and seasoned perfectly.As for the food, it was just ok. The starter dishes were standard and were good but nothing special. The meats were about the same, Im used to properly cooked and seasoned meat and I really just wasnt able to achieve that, perhaps to my and my friends own fault.All in all, its unlikely Ill be coming back. Maybe with a larger group. But I would much rather have a single solid dish at a restaurant for the same price.

All you can eat BBQ! The meat taste reasonable fresh and the sauces were good. They had steam eggs and soup as part of the AYCE menu as well. The 20 dollar tier feels decent enough for a good meal. Good with a group of people, otherwise hard to try variety. Although you can order half portions.

All you can eat BBQ. Customer service is spectacular from when you get in the door til you leave. They replace your grill atleast 3 times while you are there. Good experience. Great seating and nice environment.

Great portions and great service. Only issue here is cause it is on Convoy, it is ALWAYS busy. I have never been at opening time but I usually go when they WILL BE BUSY and they never let me down. I have almost never been here without atleast a 20 min wait. Once in there though, great Korean BBQ and fast service. Always stopping by to make sure water is filled and we have enough meat while we are enjoying our meal. I do go to other Korean BBQ but this place is a top notch, A+++ korean bbq place.

Okay so the meat they serve is the worst k bbq I have ever had in my life. Their marinade is not proper, I wouldnt even take their explanation that they tried to adapt it to American taste - it was just unbelievably bad. Also they serve frozen meat, which ruins the texture and taste. NOT WORTH THE PRICE, with $25 each person, I would honestly go to a normal restaurant that is not all you can eat, and get so much more with it.
