You get a lot of good for very cheap prices. They had some vegetarian options. Family owned restaurant with hardworking and friendly staff. No AC and was extremely hot inside. Good for Togo. No place to dine in. Very fast service. The food was not so great, but fine to eat if you are craving for some Chinese food in the middle of nowhere. We order spicy tofu Mongolian, spicy Mongolian chicken, bourbon chicken.

The best chinese fast food in Red Bluff. I’ve been coming to this place since 2013 and the quality of their delicious cooking and fresh ingredients has been the same all the time. Sometimes you’re just in the mood for some Chinese American food. I happen to be in town traveling and read some of the positive reviews. The food is legit and the prices are definitely fair. The staff is friendly and lightning fast, all in all I spent about nine dollars and 3 minutes here for take out.By the way; this place is conveniently located right off the freeway, So if you are hungry I don’t feel like sitting down this is the place for you.

WARNING-The cream cheese wontons do not have cheese inside them. Avoid ordering them or prepare for a cream cheese-less wonton. The staff couldnt be bothered about it either. Called me a liar when i called and asked the owner about the cream cheese-less wontons. Red Bluff customer service at its finest. Where the customer is wrong and the owner avoids even acknowledging the problem and essentially rips everyone off. Selling cream cheese-less cream cheese wontons should be a crime.

I seriously thought this was a joke when my husband handed me a plate of very overcooked spaghetti noodles doused in soy sauce and said he bought us dinner and It was supposed to be chicken chow mien. I felt awful as he said his customers rant about how good it is and he wanted to try it as a treat. Mine was supposed to be chicken and there was not a single piece of chicken in it. It was gloppy stuck together mass of pasta doused liberally with soy. after digging around I did find a single leaf of unidentifiable green something the size of a small pea. He ordered the pork chow mien for himself. Id up load a picture of it but they look EXACTLY the same. He did find 2 pieces of what we assumed is meat about the size and thickness of a dime. We wont be back.

Honestly the food isnt like it used to be dry, and overcooked. This has happened at least 3 times the last time the same and time before my husband sweet sour pork was missing his pork in all. Upsetting when their prices went up but the food has gone down.

I ordered food from here for delivery through a service. I was literally shocked at how bad it was. Honey walnut shrimp was old shrimp with no honey or walnuts, and a giant blob of warm mayo on top. General chicken was clearly old and microwaved. The chow mein was burnt and absent any meat whatsoever. Honestly, anyone working in this restaurant that saw this should have been ashamed it was let out the door. It almost feels like they are dumping old food through delivery service.

I dont know who the new family is that took this over but they are nothing like the last family. The vegetable chicken dish use to have broccoli, carrots, corn, mushrooms, and other veggies I cant currently think of. Now it has just carrots, zucchini and maybe onions. Nothing like before. Its not nearly has good as before.

The food is okay, not the best Chinese food but for the price is worth it. I bought 3 large orders and asked for hot sauce, they only gave me one little container not even enough for one meal. I went bk and asked for more and they refused to give 2 more little hot sauces. They asked for $3 for what should be a side regardless. Will not be going bk just for that. Any other Chinese place is glad to give you hot sauce, teriyaki, soy sauce etc. not this place.

Good Chinese food right next to the Tesla Supercharger. I asked for spicy and got real spicy food which was a pleasant surprise. The portions are large as well. Two of us split a Chow Mein and it kept us going for the next few hours!

Love this restaurant! The food is always fresh and fast. There may be an occasional period depending on what you ordered where you may have to wait for something to be cooked. But usually that wait time is of reasonable time. The staff is friendly, the quality of the food is on point, and the price is even better for the amount of food you get. Have eaten and continue to eat here way more than I prob should. But hey, when the food is good you want to keep going back.

Stopped by here on our road trip to go camping. The food was pretty good. We found it on the salty side, but not too salty that it was off putting. They specifically state no MSG but I wish people were more informed about this because the use of it is actually beneficial. I suspect their food would taste a lot better too.Service was quick, and the best part is they give VERY generous portions. We bought it to go, so Im not sure how it is with dine in, but our to go box was filled to the point it wouldnt close.

Hands down the best Chinese food in town. So glad they are back open (take out only currently). You get a lot of food for the price, and I have never been disappointed. This isnt white-washed, flavorless Chinese food, this is flavorful and delicious. I recommend extra spicy General Chicken and Beef with Broccoli. There are plenty of good options.

STAY AWAY.I was there a few days ago with my aunt and ordered two combos. The lady seemed kind of annoyed with us even though we had asked for some time to look at the menu since it was my first time there. So I was already getting weird vibes. We ordered, got our meals and I asked if she had any Sriracha. She replied “No” I asked if she had any hot sauce. She gave me a little container of the oil hot sauce with peppers in it. I was okay with that but I asked for one more. One for myself and one for my aunt. We each got a meal to which the lady simply replied with “No” I explained we got two combos and felt we should be able to get two hot sauces, she again just replied with “No”. There wasn’t any other offer on her behalf to sell me one or any type of explanation. I told her that was almost 25 dollars worth of food and couldn’t understand why she was being so stingy with some hot sauce. She kept telling me just no. My aunt convinced me to let it go and leave, but the more I thought about it, the more it upset me. The lack of customer service and the fact that we paid so much for some disgusting overcooked spaghetti to be denied a tiny container of hot sauce was upsetting. I went back inside and told her I needed one more hot sauce and I wasn’t leaving until I got one she didn’t even offer to sell me another one until I told her. She then yelled “25 cent” at me. I tossed her the quarter and took the hot sauce. NEVER GOING BACK. GO TO ANY OTHER PLACE. I genuinely felt she was discriminating and probably thought I wasn’t going to say anything about it. She treated us like we were annoying her. Overpriced food served with sh*ty customer service. Do not recommend.

If I could have given this a -3 then I would have ….it was the worst food I’ve ever eaten in my life …I took it back and they didn’t offer me anything else so I left it on the counter… that’s how bad it was and believe me there is no cream cheese in the wontons ….. The cashew chicken was old … the vegetables were soggy and tasted like they were from last weeks menu and everything was totally flavorless. Also I’ve never in my life eaten somewhere and when the food was bad wasn’t offered something else in return but these people wouldn’t offer anything in return …they just wanted their money and they didn’t care how the food tasted or if I was unhappy with it!!!!

If your in the Red Bluff area and craving some authentic Chinese food then Maple Gardens is a must. I go weekly and often enjoy their lemon chicken, pork fried rice, and pork pot stickers to die for. They serve very hearty portions and they offer a very friendly atmosphere.

I ordered from here last night based on all of the good reviews.. I was surprised that the fried rice was below average. It tasted like rice a roni with eggs. I also thought the lemon chicken tasted like something from a carnival but inside the chicken was dry and like jerky. Maybe it was an off day for them. Maybe I didnt order the right thing. Simple basic ready to go chinese food. Not many tables. Geared for fast in and out service. Common menu items are out front ready to serve up. On display behind glass on steam tables. Menu is hand written on a large whiteboard above as you walk in. Always a small line of people ordering and getting it takeout. Line goes fast. No long wait here. Some tables to eat in. But mostly setup for ordering and grab and go. Although the common items are already made. Its always fresh up and hot. Prices are very reasonable. The place could be cleaner in my opinion. But the food and serving area appears to be clean and is fresh up always. I have been there several times now. Very convenient for a quick meal on the go.

Probably the best chinese food Ive ever had. My experience with rating a Chinese restaurant is their ability to craft Egg foo young. I can say that Maple Gardens Egg Foo Young is the best I have ever eaten. I go out of my way to recommend Maple Gardens. Im glad that their back!!!

The worst customer service Ive ever encountered. I ordered my food to- go, so I havent tried it yet. The first individual that I contacted was a male and hung up on me while I was trying to order because he was busy. I called back again to complete my order and I asked for a manager. They all laughed and would not give me the name of the guy that hung up on me or the manager. Hopefully the food is good, because their customer service lacks in 100 ways.

The food is so-so every time I have tried it. But the last time I went about 830 and ordered lemon chicken and chow mein. It was so awful! And they took forever to get the order up. They are usually busy and I expect that but it was nearly 9pm when I walked out with my order (closes at 9) happy to be on my way home but the excitement disappeared the first few bites.

The lady serving food had some old chicken to the side & my son saw her put it on top of my chicken order!!????!!When I went to eat immediately spit out the food saying it tastes old & gross then my son told me what he saw the server doing. We threw away 3 meals due to it tasted off, like the food was old & the sweet & sour sauce was losing its flavor and tasted more sour than sweet. Horrible customer service . I told the server my order and as she was putting the food into the plate I decided I wanted a mini plate . She shook her head in frustration and mumbled under her breath as she was getting the new plate . The food was also horrible . Chow mein noodles were dry and flavor less . Also the orange chicken was very squishy and disgusting . I opened one up and it was slimy inside. Two bites into my meal I threw it away . Won’t be going back there .

We ate in, but they didnt offer us water - there are no wait staff. They were willing to fill our water bottle for us instead of making us buy bottled water. We really appreciated that.A few other reviewers said the food was heathly and fresh. While the food was tasty (my lemon chicken smelled like fair food), it was high in carbs and low in veggies; not my idea of healthy. The vegetables we did have tasted fresh and were delicious, but most of the rest of the food (rice, noodles, sauces, etc) were not extraordinary, and were probably pre-packaged.

VERY unsatisfied with the extremely rude customer service (or lack there of) I received this evening. I went in to order out for my daughters birthday. In the middle of trying to get my order straight, the lady taking my order SLAMS her slams her first down on the counter and yells HURRY UP! Granted, there were other customers in the restaurant who witnessed this behavior. Ive never been so humiliated in my entire life, especially in a public restaurant as an equally paying customer. This is the worst Chinese food place Ive ever been to. You can hardly understand what the server is saying. When my order to go was ready they put it in a broken box. I tried to grab the box but it collapsed and fell on the floor. The server was yelling at me and expected me to sweep my food up off the floor and take it. She is a real idiot.

I went here for lunch and found three little bugs in my food....I went to show them and the lady then proceeded to say it was the seeds from the hot sauce, which are red, and the bug was clearly brown and had legs!!!! It was so tiny they looked like lice. She then said it was in the oil and then on my soy sauce wrapper, either way there shouldnt be any bugs in the whole restaurant. She told me to show her what exactly I was talking about and when I did show her she whipped it off with her finger and rubbed it on her pants.They refused to give me my money back and act like they didnt know what I was saying. She kept ignoring me and talking over me saying it was from the hot sauce. She then just walked away from me and ignored me. I am so disgusted with their service and no one should ever eat here!!!

So i ordered a beef dish called mongolian beef. House Special it said. Instead,, what I got was some beef, shrimp, chicken and some other meat which i couldnt identify thrown together over a minimal helping of rice and noodles. The clincher was the fact that, the whole heap was served in a styrofoam container that shouldve been used for a kids meal.
