The store is convenient and usually well stocked, albeit fairly expensive for certain items. However, the old woman with white hair and yellow teeth has been incredibly rude and disrespectful on multiple occasions. Therefore, this review is on her behalf. All of the other employees Ive interacted with are excellent.

The staff are super friendly and helpful here. This is a very large store. Its not as good as the MCX on Pendleton but not bad. Not a lot of Outdoors type stuff. Large selection of mens clothing and tons and tons of shoes. Womens department could be a lot better in my opinion but the clothes they do have are good. They carry Victoria Secret, Bath and Body Works, and Old Navy.

Ample free parking, even reserved parking for expecting and new Moms. Seasonal and Holiday section well stocked. Clothes, accessories and shoes can be pricey, but if youre a bargain hunter, theres plenty of clearance sections throughout the store. The staff seem to enjoy making drama, you cant help hear them talking loudly from across the store, on store speakers etc. The mens under garment section needs to be kept stocked. Overall visit was okay.

A reasonable place to check out, but be aware better prices are often available at local competitors or online.Mar2022 update... visited on a non-holiday weekend, sorry to see so few shoppers, but less selection and higher prices than nearby big box stores, and online alternatives. Management needs to make some changes. Staff still nice...Feb2023... bicycle selection very limited today, only a dozen boxed bikes, none assembled.Same reasonable general selection, and merchandise is generally quality national brands. Prices often absent which is frustrating, but you can scan barcodes at the readers on the structural pillars..Previous comments still valid.

Its military, so no taxes but selections are limited; its mostly just stuff needed by government personnel and exercise equipment. They have microwavable food and stuff for grilling. In short it just sells stuff like it was for collage frat boys. So its perfect for marines.

Very nice, clean a special event on the outside for the familys, bounce house and other inflatables for the kids, info., treats and fun. Inside was well stocked and kind cashier even let my grand daughter have her own bag! Sorry didnt get any pictures, I had let my phone in the 4 runner.

We visited our son here. They have everything a person would need to live there for a while and not have a reason to leave. I told our son, it was like a Time Share we used to own. As a civilian, I was happy to see our government is taking care of our kids and our troupes that work there.

CDC protocols are in effect. First place Ive been where they make you sanitize you hands upon entering. Great place.

I used to love the MCX in all its glory however all that love ended one infamous day. 29 palms is basically summer 10 months out of the year so it’s imperative to have nice cool beverages! Y’all know how nice it is to have a nice cool borderline healthy Jamba Juice smoothie once or twice a week in the middle of nowhere in 115 degree weather is? If you don’t you should try it out….but you can’t they don’t have Jamba Juice anymore! It was by far the best thing on base! Other than that the people are nice and the variety is decent

Requested to get a patch made and paid toget it rushed. Got told it’d be about a week and half wait time to go pick it up, which is expected. When I picked up my patch it wasn’t done how I requested and they messed up the numbers on it. I asked to have it fixed or my money refunded and was told that they don’t refund and they won’t make a new one unless I pay them again to make a patch. Very dissatisfied with the employees and the services in general. Will not go back for any uniform or gear needs.

The Service here is decent, although some times it terrible. The food on the other hand.... well is it even food? It rarely fills you up, and myself with several friends and peers have gotten stomach problems from it. Would I recommend it? Only if you are super gubgey and dying of hunger.

Not bad. Much better than it was back in 2009! Could really expand their product lists in order to compensate for the fact that this base is so remote. The MCX could be a one stop shop for everything that you cannot get at the Commissary if they actually stocked it appropriately.

Love this place its actually macys so itll have everything there at great prices it’s a very nice military store an has great sales all the time . In summer you can ask when there sales are on winter’s clothes and in winter sales on summer stuff you can get the drift lol but it has all name brands no genetic stuff . ENJOY YOUR SHOPPING TRIP!

Its pretty good place to shop, they promise the best prices around but it is not true, nevertheless they have price match, if you find the same item somewhere else but cheaper -> 1) come to the counter, 2) ask for price match, 3) youll get the item for desirable price that they other place sells at. Rating the barber shop not the store. After politely asking for a medium fade and specifying that I do not want a high fade please do not go high I get my haircut and boom a high fade and not even a good one and the clippers were dirty as hell too when it came to pay she looked at me liked she deserved a tip then crumbled the recipient up like a child when she saw I didn’t give one to her. A two year could have done a better job. I highly advise to never go here and don’t tip they get payed hourly I don’t think subpar work deserves a tip

This MCX has come a long way over the years. They usually have a pretty good selection. Its a lot better than it was the first time I came here 16 years ago. Food court is nice it has 4 restaurants and an area to sit and watch television, theres a GNC, barbershop, Jamba Juice and a Starbucks inside.

I have been to several exchanges for my son who is a marine. I was buying him some stuff he needed. This was the first time I had to pay cash and could not use my credit card. I had to withdraw cash from an atm. After spending 265.00 for my son. I found it to be very inconvenient.

I am rating the barber shop not the whole mcx. I go in there and i ask the lady “hey um let me get a medium fade and let me get a bit off the top” and the lady agrees and begins cutting. Through the hair cut she tries to comb the top and just makes a humb, turns me around and says you’re done and i told her “her i wanted some off the top” and she says “i spent 200 dollars on clippers and you got a bit of sand in your hair so im not about to ruin them on your hair” which I understood said okay well that’s not a problem, so i ask “okay well howbout if i go wash my hair real quick and come back” and she says “yea but im going to charge you again” and im puzzled. I really wanted to get some off the top that day before my hair was out of regs so i said “what ever ill be right back” and again i turn around and i ask “will i have to wait in line all over again?” And she said “ well i have lots of customers to attend” (keep in mind its a sunday when all marines are trying to get haircuts) i just walk away. She does not care how your hair looks or the satisfaction of the customer, jus making money. She was the african american one with thin dreads. She didn’t even have any kind of certificate on her mirror about her going to barber school.
