2023-12-04 22:47:39Absolutely fantastic coffee shop. Theyre true to their roots, so be prepared to try what they have on offer. Dont expect to get your regular. Delightful rhubarb pastry. Perhaps the best Ive had in Santa Cruz. There was one person working who managed to keep it all afloat. She could have definitely used another hand because the people just kept coming. I got the basic espresso with whipped sugar cane. I almost walked away from this GEM of a coffee shop. Im so glad I decided to go outside of my regular and try something new. We will be back. This is a special place. Photos are shared with permission of a few folks who look to be thoroughly enjoying their treats.

2023-12-08 19:11:51I love this place! Great music, great vibes. Love the decor. Mixing Vietnamese and Cuban cuisines into one synergistic combination. After you enjoy your cafe con leche, indulge in Vietnamese coffee just watch that caffeine concentration 😀

2023-11-11 19:27:25My friend and I decided to check out this place we are trying to check out as many coffee places downtown. This place was absolutely wonderful! I ordered the Bella Bon Bon, it had the perfect balance between sweet and coffee taste. And the guava jam and cream cheese pastry is amazing paired with the coffee. The pastries werent available when we ordered our coffee but this place was very accommodating and said they were making more. And they let us know the pastries were done being baked so we could order them. Very wonderful and kind staff. Thank you for the yummy food and drink, will definitely come again.

2023-11-11 19:30:57I got a cafe con leche and a guava jam and cream cheese pastry. Both of them were amazing and paired well together. When I got here the pastries were still baking so they didnt charge me until they were out, letting everyone know when they were done. I understand why theyre so popular too, it was perfectly sweet and balanced. Im definitely coming back later and ordering this again.

2023-10-14 02:57:08The high ratings are what convinced me to try this place and I’m glad I did. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the drink I ordered but it was amazing. One of the most unique yet delicious coffees I’ve had in awhile. I strongly recommend stopping here cause the reviews live up. 4.9/5.

2023-05-03 13:02:43Mariposa coffee is such a special spot to sit and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. I got a perfect Cafecito with their Guava pastry. They do vegan and vegetarian small plates. Plus the environment is a nice spot to sit and do some work or meet a new friend. Stop in this local spot when you are in town.

2023-09-03 01:29:30The cafe has a very homely, warm, and comfortable vibe with couches and communal dining tables. The Cafe Con Leche with oat milk is excellent - unlike any coffee Ive had. I got the Nem Nuong Spring rolls which were good too. Though the cafe is vegetarian, would love to see more vegan options.

2023-09-23 18:18:19Possibly one of my most favorite coffee shops. Perfectly located downtown, excellent environment and vibe in their store. They specialize in Cuban and Southeast Asian coffee drinks. Try something different or get the typical. Some nice food items some of which are vegan. Very calm and cool atmosphere inside.

2023-11-07 22:49:40I loved the place, the atmosphere was great and accord to the person at the counter, I assume an owner, it is all hand decorated. The jokes on the menu were funny to. Almost everything up untill were had to leave because of an emergency it was great, but, I 100% understand the struggles of trying to run a business as a minority, as I myself am a trans autistic disabled man, and my partner whom is also a trans man who is Hispanic. Please dont assume thing about people. You were not *lied* to, our friend tried to harm themselves around an hour later. Just because you didnt know the situation doesnt mean you should be rude when all we were was polite. Also from what I could tell, none of your food was sensory safe, I could tell it was traditional and that is awesome, but I wouldnt have been able to eat anything anyways. Please do go to this cafe, other then the comments its a lovely place, and *I do* believe people can just have a bad day.
