Tell you what this place went quantity over quality. Too much ramen for one person, meat was sweet, doesn’t taste anything like ramen. Very Big portion. Couldn’t finish it

Always pass by this place with the eye catching figure outside the building(cant miss it) but havent had the chance to come in till today. Peter greeted me as soon as I walked in and provided a pleasant experience throughout my meal.I ordered the Karaage Chicken Appetizer which was oh so good! Juicy and tender with a crispy and light exterior. Squeezed the fresh lemon wedge provided into the sauce for a tantalizing treat my taste buds still water thinking about.For mains, we ordered the Kuromayu Ramen (the pork = LITERALLY MELT IN YOUR MOUTH GOOD) and the Soboro Bowl that had an exceptionally balanced sweet to savory flavor.Will come by again real soon, thanks for the wonderful eats and great dining experience! 👍👍👍

Our favorite ramen in the neighborhood, possibly in the whole valley. (I may have missed some ramen places in the valley.) Its the black garlic oil, its the broth, its the noodle, its the egg. I like to go there when its not busy, but boy, does it get busy during busy hours. the shrimp shumai is one of my favorite too. And the charshu rice bowl, yummy. but ultimately, its the ramen. its a small place, so be ready to wait during rush hour.

10/10.What a wonderful place this is in Woodland Hills, the food is great and atmosphere is also spectacular.Natasha was very nice in handling my order; I ordered take-out and she handled my order very well.The food here is also very good. I have ordered here a couple times and nothing beats hot ramen on a rainy day.A place you should definitely stopped by if you are in Woodland Hills.

Cute little joint, 8 tables, very chill. Lovely host (Natasha) and great services. The Kuromayu ramen is nice, I wish the black garlic oil has a stronger black garlic aroma. When everything (meat, noodle, soup) is put together, its like a completed song and its comforting. The soup base is smooth, the meat falls right off, and noodle is cooked just right, with a little al dante. You can add more ingredients to your pleasing. Would like to come back and try their creamy vegetable broth ramen too. Beautiful pictures on the online menu, great presentation.

I got the kuromayu ramen, the broth was rich but not heavy, the chasu was very soft and flavorful. Spicy paste came free as well! The shumai was very soft and had really good flavor as well. Would highly recommend others to try this place out.

Ramen is always good during a hurricane. Lol I visited during hurricane Hillary and it was cozy and delicious. Got the signature ramen, very thicc and satisfying. I ordered the chicken karage as well and the sauce it comes with is magnificent. I believe it is a mild spicy mayo with masago. The masago slaps!!! Also the server was doing work! She was racking up about 20 Togo orders while serving 6 parties alone.👏👏👏

If youre looking for great Ramen...look no further than this tiny place in Woodland Hills. Right on Ventura Blvd. near Canoga Ave...Maru Ramen is the spot. No lie. Ive been back twice since first going in. Theres lots of Ramen places in this area with lots of reviews...but I consider this the underdog of Ramen places. Easy to get to, easy to park and super yummy.

Dude I had the spicy miso ramen. Thats all Im gonna say. 10/10 ramen if you love spicy, also got to try their house ramen and thw broth is DELICIOUS. Do yourself a favor if youre a ramen fan and go try it. (Sorry the pic is me basically done with the spicy it was just that good).

Perfect vibes and delicious food! Maru is a cozy, unpretentious ramen joint with delicious food and fast service. Our servers name was Sahar and she was very friendly and attentive. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the pork slices were some of the best I’ve had in ramen. Noodles were great although not the best I’ve had. Overall, I really can’t give this place less than five stars!

TLDR; Worth coming for people in the west valley.Quite authentic interpretation of modern ramen. We came here for Sunday dinner, and had Spicy Miso and Kuromayu (I thought it meant black cocoon, but turns out black garlic oil マー油)Spicy Miso was a bit on hotter side for ramen natives like us, but its likely the best solution for the market. I respect that decision. Kuromayu(should really spell like Kuro Mayu) was a nice fatty modern Tonkotsu-based broth we usually get in Japan.The ramen noodles were semi-thin, semi-wrinkled and cooked to the perfection for my taste. A hint of al dente at the first bite, and slowly cooked in the soup as I dig in.We really like the idea of limited selection of ramen. It really helps them to focus on the quality.Service was top-notch for a ramen house. We had the nicest gen-z servers here. Also the interior of the restaurant is modern and welcoming (reminds me of Tender Greens)Still I can do a few nitpicking. The edge of our table shows sign of aging, and patched with mending tapes.The door knob was probably inherited from the last tenant and looks like its pulled from some old apartment. It may not be best for high traffic business.The step right outside door could also use some modernization. Its probably rare but someone will eventually trip after having few sips after heavy meal. Wheelchair accessibility would be nice but we couldnt find it unfortunately.Overall, this is a very well calculated, well executed, well priced ramen house. It doesnt have screaming values, but well worth for coming back.

Opened two weeks ago. Very cute, cozy, comfortable small joint with well spaced tables, quiet atmosphere, and fantastic service. The noodles are slightly delicate, with just the right amount of chew—not so robust as some ramen noodles that take all night to digest. Simple menu without a lot of frills, and not overpriced as are so many other ramen spots.

Very nice Ramen House. Spicy Miso Ramen is definitely packing some heat. If you are a spicy ramen lover, order that. The Veggie ramen is very mild and sweeter in flavor. Spicy paste is available if you wish to kick yo the heat in any ramen.

The broth is so rich yet not over powering. The noodles are perfect texture. The pork literally falls apart in your mouth it’s the best pork I’ve had at a ramen restaurant.Usually what gets points taken away is the egg but this is the best soft boiled ramen egg I ever had. The gyoza has pork and beef and is absolutely insane. I’m coming back tomorrow and the next day as well. I don’t think I’ll be able to find a ramen place better than this for a long time.

It’s the same Maru as the Northridge one but the noodle is much thicker. I always went to the Northridge and order the same ramen and it was thinner. To me the thicker noodle is like chewing wax…

Its just delicious. The way the noodles and soup blended together felt a little sweet, but it was on par with Japanese ramen. Chashu is also good.
