My friends and I frequent this place for dinner and drinks. Food is tasty and consistent, drinks are worth trying and the service is attentive. Atmosphere is relaxing although it can get quite busy during peak dinnertime which is to be expected. Wait times are reasonable considering the number of people being served. Highly recommend the Brookside Roll for baked umami goodness! Apple sake is our fave amongst the variety of available flavors. Oysters have always been served fresh and clean, we usually order two platters. Will be back again for more! It’s a gem of a spot. If you have room for dessert, definitely try their mochi ice cream, the strawberry flavored one is a must try!

Under new management. Service was friendly, food was tasty and the atmosphere was welcoming and accommodated my big family for our annual dinner.

The ambiance was exactly what i was expecting for a lounge and had unique private feel to it. The service was ok at the start but got better when one of the owners came over and took over. The food was awesome. It was some of the freshest fish i have had. They have some unique rolls that are a little different, some baked, some raw, many options. I also tried the plum wine which i really liked it is a sweet wine. This is someplace i will be visiting again and has moved into one of my top 5 sushi restaurants.

We went in with about 20 people and the staff handled it brilliantly! The food was fresh and delicious and the service was on point the whole night! Plus, Unlimited Sake is a great deal!!

Been here twice with my man. Both times were nothing less but satisfying. We love sushi. We make it a point to try every citys signature roll. The Stockton was delicious!

Delicious food, the chef clearly knows what he is doing. Service was fabulous and prices reasonable. Recommended.

Had a very traumatic experience from the oyster night.. My girlfriend, her mom, and I have been throwing up and having diarrhea for days after we went there.. thats the last place we ate together since, so I think itd be safe to assume it was the fresh oysters... We have been very disappointed and frustrated. I called them today for some type 0f reimbursement. The manager was too busy to be on the phone for a few minutes. The employee just told me to come in for the 18 dollars back.. We have been enjoying this place for years, but likely wont return.

Wonderful service, and like the name says, contemporary with low lights and modern, upbeat music. The food was great and a surprising all you can drink Sake deal for only $7!

The food if fresh and delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Nightly all you can drink sake happy hour!

Very disappointed in my service tonight my Alaska roll salmon had a weird chewy texture the spider roll was missing soft crab, and churned my stomach. I was still charged $15 dollars for the spider roll even when returning over half of the roll on the plate. Safe to say that I will not be back. I have never had this bad of service here before ever. Person that served us didnt apologize, didnt even try to rectify any issues.
