2023-11-10 02:37:48This unassuming restaurant presents itself as a friendly family run establishment with a talkative and proud owner to guide your choices. This was my second time here separated by a few years and I’m glad I returned. Being partial to lamb I ordered the lamb shank to quickly discover this is a the houses “best dish” which was a claim I could confirm may well be true. A sizable lamb shank that fell off the bone but was not dry. It was richly spiced and absolutely delicious. Served on rice with a yogurt and chili chutney I was told to mix them together into the rice which I did and enjoyed a flavor pop like I hadn’t experienced. The sesame seed nan was perfect and plentiful. The enclosed pictures don’t do justice to how this dish would certainly look if plated but hopefully you get the idea.Highly recommended. Excellent value for the money. Nice people. Eat local!

2023-11-04 20:00:51Some of the best food weve had in the US, the kebabs and curries would easily rival great restaurants in the homeland. We were a party of 5 and were greeted by the owner who gave us brilliant recommendations based on our food preferences. We got the chicken karahi, the meat platter, and the whole BBQ chicken which Id highly recommend. The kebabs were very juicy and full of flavor, the whole chicken was cooked through and through and soaked in all the spices from the curry with a subtle smoky flavor to round it all up. The platter came with a generous portion of rice and we ordered some garlic naan to go with the curry.Overall, the best hospitality and food weve experienced so far, worth a drive if youre in LA. It felt like a dinner at your uncles place who is in love with his food and wants you to experience it first hand, for good reason!

2023-06-24 19:10:54The owner of this place is a great guy. He is super friendly and very helpful in assisting selecting dishes. It is a family friendly place and the food is delicious. I started with the samosas with two sauces, a tamarin sauce and a yogurt sauce. Both were delicious. The tamarin sauce was more savory than I am used to, but it was still really good. I had a beef curry dish (it was a special not listed on the menu) and it was great with the garlic naan. I had one of the best mango lassi I had ever had as a sweet treat at the end. Go to this restaurant, you wont be disappointed.

2023-07-03 16:39:46Fantastic food. A wonderful owner. I ordered mixed grilled food. He honored my request to have Biryani instead of Jasmine rice with no extra charge. Food was fresh and delicious. Restaurant cleanliness is not that well but it is an easy fix for them if they can commit to it.

2023-02-23 11:13:40We (3 people from Germany) visited this place spontaneously on Thanksgiving 2022 while being on a road trip through California. We were really glad for this fun and tasty evening! The staff was super friendly, recommended us some of their delicious food and came by our table frequently to check if we liked it (we REALLY did). The restaurant is both suitable for vegetarians/vegans and meat lovers and the food was healthy, freshly prepared and super delicious.I’m only sorry for not writing a review earlier, since I can highly recommend this place and hope for others to enjoy the tasty food :)

2022-08-02 04:41:19What an experience! We were blown away by this unique gem; we are just passing through and this place was closest to the Holiday Inn. We were welcomed warmly and the owner helped us choose dishes. He asked our personal preferences and was happy to cater to personal tastes and provided optional chutneys to increase spice to taste. The lamb shank was super tender, the quality of the rice was evident, chicken tikka freshly grilled, perfectly spiced and piping hot. The garlic naan was the best I’ve ever eaten (we are from the UK -curry is a national dish). If you are lucky enough to be local, or just passing through, eat here!! You will not be disappointed.

2023-05-02 05:14:20We stopped in for lunch. We had samosas which were good. I had Chicken Tikka Masala and the hubby had lamb. We enjoyed, the staff was friendly. I thought the chicken had a tandoori flavor instead of only Chicken Masala. It was ok.

2022-07-16 05:30:25My husband and I wanted Indian food and we were looking for a new place to try. We saw the reviews for this place and decided to try it. This was our first visit and I must say that it was really delicious. We ordered the lamb shank, chicken Tikka masala, Chana masala, beef shish kebab, samosas and garlic naan. The lamb shank was so tender and so flavorful. All of the dishes were really good. The restaurant is decorated with live plants from wall to wall and it gives it a very warm, inviting atmosphere. We will definitely return! Highly recommend!
