Family and friends have eaten here many times and we always enjoyed the food. Favorites are Lobster roll (hot), Rainbow rolls, and a Heart attack. See pic. A Heart attack is a jalapeno pepper stuffed and deep fried. Hot and moderately spicy. Always delicious.

Love this place. Been coming here for a long time. The all-you-can-eat is delicious. Fresh fish. Yummy rolls. A bit surprised they took off the soft shell crab handroll off the ayce menu. But still the Ayce Price is great. Customer service is great as well.

Great Sushi. Awesome customer service. The AYCE price has gone up a lot from the first time we came to this restaurant. They have really good fresh tuna and Salmon sushi roll. Their miso soup is way too salty though. Lastly, they may charge you for hot water if you bring your own tea bag (yes, I bring tea with me everywhere so I dont drink soda). With that said, always check your receipt. Other than that, I dont think I can really say much about this establishment.Update: went their to eat with my husband because I was craving sushi and its the closest thing to home that serves fresh sushi. Went there and was very surprised to see the owner remembered us. We had spoken to her in the past about her business while we were waiting for our take out. Good food and good service. Their wasabi has gotten better so thats a plus. And I checked my receipt and they didnt charge me for my hot water! That’s awesome.

Parking is limited. Place is unappealing and needs renovation. They do not alow shrimp tempura with AYCE. No sashimi combinations. Nigiri portions are small. Miso was good. Pricey for their quality of food and service. Come here if youre wanting to eat mediocre sushi. I was charged the dinner price $27.95 for lunch since it was past 1pm (see pic). This place is a joke!

Ordered ahi Rice bowl with miso soup. Miso soup broth was good but tofu that was in it was overcooked or they used the wrong kind of tofu or both. So strike one. Rice was terrible. And not just cause it looked like a few days old but fell apart really easily. Tasted like it was undercooked maybe? Strike two. Ahi didnt taste the freshest. Seemed like a cheap cut and a little off. Strike 3. Aside from the food, a little warm inside the place, they had small air units with white ducts draping into the windows and drapes that were at my table were quite dirty and looked like they never got washed. They were signs that I ignored when I first walked in but chose to ignore out of hunger but after I ate regretted my choice to order. My friend who was with me mentioned his chicken rice bowl was about equal to mine in terms of quality. Dry chicken and terrible rice. Overall I would not go back. Side note the iced green tea was about the only thing that was good.

We ordered the sushi meals and my wife found a long hair in her sushi. We politely asked the waiter to call the manager, but he said the manager is not available so we asked him to prepare it again. Sushi comes back and we find another hair in it!! My wife no longer wanted to eat there so we asked for the cheque and were still charged for the remaining food which we didnt finish eating as we were grossed out. We paid for it but will never be returning back. PLEASE check your food before you eat here. Will not recommend.

We found our new all you can eat sushi in Moreno Valley. This place has new owners. They really care about the customer. They remenber you and what you like. I came in and one waitress brought me a bunch of Wasabi without me asking. She said I remember from last time! I love it, plus they have uni!

We had an amazing lunch here. Price was a little higher than I expected, but the outstanding food and friendly service were well worth it! Artwork from patrons on the walls, sushi bar front and center with the chefs greeting every person who walked in the door. Very glad we stopped in!

Great AYCE! Normally Sushi bars give you a lot of rice in their rolls but not here.Service was really good and entire staff was nice. I dont recommend coming in during busy dinner hours. They do get overwhelmed and service is really slow.Definitely try the Korean beer.

Always good.I had to drop down to 3 stars. I had my first problem in 4 years of going there. The California roll my daughter ordered was extremely dry. I asked them if they could remake it. They told me it would come out the same. My daughter and I go twice a month at least. The people I dealt with I wasnt used to. Just seemed rude and unhelpful. I had to pay for the roll even though it wasnt eaten.

The food was okay, the environment was okay. Its a really old place. Some of the plates they delivered our food were chipped. Tables had mismatched chairs.. its cluttered inside with stacks and stacks of boxes but that wasnt the worst of it... when it came time to pay, I was being overcharged for something I had indeed ordered, forgot about it and THEY NEVER BROUGHT IT OUT TO OUR TABLE! When I brought it to the servers attention, she was nice but the I can only assume was the owner, was mega fiesty. She kept saying she had brought us the dish because she had seen it made. I explained to her it never made it to our table. We still had our plates on the table and I told her multiple times the plates on the table are accounted for except 1. It literally took about 10 minutes for her to give us back 10 bucks (my husband had already paid) but not only did I have to open my left over food to also prove that I never got the dish. It was literally the most ridiculous experience. Will not be back! Support other small businesses!

Sushi taste great, however the fact that you are being charged for sauces is outrageous! I understand charging for extra sauce but for one sauce per person that’s Ridiculous. I was told you are being charged for sauces since rolls have sauce on them already. No, all rolls do not have sauces on them. Individuals are spending close too $100 or $100 plus for sushi, why does the act of proving one sauce per person have to be charged. As I stated, I understand charging for extra but not for allowing a customer to have a Sauce

First visit ordered the bento box for $17 (chicken cutlet) plus additional $5 for California roll... Came with miso soup, which was extremely salty. Had to send back to dilute with more hot water. Bento came with salad, which was good, rice was delicious, tempura was nothing special.. Needed yams, carrots or potatoes.. Chicken cutlet was extremely greasy, not lite and fluffy as the panko bread should be, very unappetizing. Bento box was too much food for one person, maybe reduce the quantity of food and focus on quality instead. Overall I spent $29.

This is one of my favorite Sushi spots close by. They offer a wide variety of options. Food is fresh! Great tasting! Great deals!! All you can eat option with sushi is always a plus! They also offer free food per child with each paying all-you-can-eat option purchase. Amazing for us since both our kids eat free! I believe its until 10 yrs old. Dont quote me on that age. Youd have to see for yourself. They also have weekly specials for an awesome price! The staff is friendly and engaging. The only thing Id ask them to review is changing their weekly special from time to time. Ive been visiting for almost a year and the weekly special has been the same thing. Its still super good though. 😊

The food was okay. The sushi was too sweet for my taste. The service was okay as well, and the servers were not rude just not attentive. Spent 52 dollars on two sushi rolls and two appetizers for reference, and the sushi rice fell apart.

The place is very outdated. Very poor construction and decorations. The furniture is old, the owner apparently doesnt put any effort into the appearance of the location. We tried the sushi and its poor quality. It lacks flavor, style, creativity and overall love. The waitresses did their best to provide good quality service. The menu has limited options. The all you can eat menu is just California rolls with something different on top. We had to rolls and left. Never going back.

The food is mediocre. Service is friendly and they followed my instructions. I did not like the taste of the food very much. The rolls I ordered were sloppy and had a weird smell, the tempura was pretty greasy, and most of the greens in my salad were slimy. Wish I could give a higher rating, but maybe just not for me.

Ive definitely had better sushi and rolls. The majority of their rolls are just a California roll with something on top which ends up making everything taste pretty much the same. They also put way TOO MUCH rice on their rolls. Like 3 times more than any other places Ive been. Overall, the presentation and taste of their rolls is mediocre at best. Their nigri sushi was not fresh and I barely ate half of my order. Miso soup is bland and not good.

Ive been to several places and Ive had some extremely priced sushi before but for what its worth this place is a gem. The sushi chefs are wonderful if youre willing to talk to them. Of course their menu is not the same as other places and have different names but the food is always fresh. Yes they make simple mistakes theyre only human, and they reasonably price everything. The all-you-can-eat is what its known for, but even their regular menu options are delicious. For it being in moval its doing really good.

A cozy spot for all you can eat sushi. Service is good, rolls are decent. There is almost never a wait so service is fast. The quality of fish is alright: not terrible, but not amazing. The location is out of the way so theres not a lot of other sushi joints in the immediate area.

Awesome place to try out. Conveniently in the middle of moval. This place is a bit under rated. The sushi is great and been here plenty of times including to go orders. They have a website to place orders as well. Never had a problem with staff or phone orders. Ramen is kinda pricey but full of flavor compared to the other nasty ramen place on Fredrick. Overall its a piece of moreno valley sushi and definitely helps out with my girlfriends sushi cravings

It was really packed in the inside there was barely any room to move. Although they did has some what good customer service, our drinks were always full. The only problem I had with this establishment was the lack of organization. Our table ordered about 5 rolls which we only received 3 and waited about 15 for the forth roll and never got the fifth roll. They seem to be confused when they came to the table even after I had told them it was a total of 5 rolls, which in the this case we only needed one more roll after waiting a couple of more minutes we didnt even get our paper back to finish our last round. It wasnt even last call yet.

Food was good although my husband didn’t like some of his rolls due to too much cream cheese. The service wasn’t all that great. When our waitress came to get our drink orders she forgot my husbands tea, also She took so long to take our food order another waitress came and took it. Then one of the times while ordering our sushi, the chef had to come get our paper because it took so long for one of the girls to come back.

Food was great.... service was ridiculously slow! Ordered a round at 4:10...got 1 roll at 4:25....at 4:50 we got the muscles...and i said just forget the last roll we need to go. We were there for 2 hours and left slightly still hungry....feel like they timed us out of eating to much on all you can eat... $118 for 4 all you can eats and we arent full. What we did get was really good or id rate this place 1 star.

THE BEST SUSHI IN MORENO VALLEY- HANDS DOWN! Service was excellent by Elena our wonderful server and the sushi chefs were untouchable. The food came out quickly, the fish was fresh and delicious and all hot foods were hot and freshly made. As well as the foos and service being above and beyond ordinary, the atmosphere is cute, relaxing and comfortable. An amazing dining experience! Wow, just cant say enough great things about this incredible Mom & Pop shop. Will definitely be back, thank you!

Worst sushi place. Not many options to choose from all you can eat. Went here last night for dinner. First of all the waiters are extremely rude expect the younger ladies, they were a bit more attentive than the older ones. Second they almost make it impossible for you to order your worth of all you can eat. We only ordered our first round and never received our paper to order the second round. If you have a question about an item on the menu and they will tell you to read instead of explaining it to you. Never going back.

Used to come here all the time, not sure if ownership changed but won’t be coming back. Food tasted nasty and the spicy mayo and rainbow roll had hairs in it. Let them know and they still added it to my bill even though the roll was completely in tact but they gave me a $3 discount I guess.

Very disappointed with the service and management. I was a usual at this facility, dining maybe 3-4 times a month. The policy changed and thats ok but the owner made me feel very uncomfortable. She sat and watched our tables every move, approaching us after my son tasted a bite of my food. Even after i acknowledged the new policy and stated i would pay for extra for whatever they said was needed she sat and watched us. Literally sitting in front of us and watched our table. We gathered our check and left shortly after. Very disappointing after being a customer for two years. Maybe she had an off day but that doesnt excuse her being rude to her staff. She was very rude to her waitresses.

The food here was very delicious and the customer service is right where you would want and expect eating at restaurants like this, actually better than most. They were very attentive and quick with bringing out the next roll. It wasnt hard at all to get someones attention in case we needed something. Been here twice and got to say Im not regretting coming back and will be returning again. Thanks for the good rolls!

The Sushi is hand down the best. I usually dont eat Shrimp Tempora but that one was delicious. NOW, thier Raman is just horrible! No authenticity what so ever. They pretty much took the top ramen packets from the grocery stores and used those than put some diced thigh chicken meat from a package. 3 out of 5 Stars. They are a very Clean facility.

This is one of the few sushi spots in Moreno Valley so I decided to finally give it a try! The staff was very friendly and the environment was very clean. I ordered the black dragon and it came with eight pieces of sushi so definitely worth the money! Look forward to going back soon.

Love this place. Have not had a bad experience here what so ever. This place is somewhat small and seating isnt very personal chairs are a little uncomfortable to sit in after a while, or then that The sushi is always fresh, colourful, and delicious. Usually go with a group and get the all you can eat $25 per person.Make sure to try out their different flavours of Soju. Since the cold season is approaching dont hesitate to stop by for Ramen!

This is NOT good Sushi!!!!!I get it we are in Moreno Valley 80 miles from the ocean, but theres no reason nowadays why you cant serve fresh fish.Definitely not worth the AYCE @ $25.88!I came here on a recommendation, and it was a bad one.Save yourself the $25 there are fresher options in the area.For those of you who disagree, then I challenge you to try some real sushi.

My first visit. Arrived as a large group of 15, and comfortably sat down. Usually, the sushi menus each look boring and have the same items at different sushi locations, but surprisingly Matsuri had a couple of items that caught my eye. Which was great because I wasnt too excited go to another sushi place. Not sure if it was the owners who helped the staff, but two managers joined the waitresses and started to tend to the tables. That was a humbling sight, and much appreciated by the waitresses and costumers. I will return when Im in the area.

Never again, The miso soup tasted like tap water, the owner or manager whoever she was kept sneezing up a storm and our waiter although was attentive, he grossed me out by picking his nose while taking our order and when he came back he scratched the inside of his ear, he did these things very discreetly but I still managed to see which made me lose my appetite!

Came for dinner, ordered iced tea, tempora calamari, and rainbow roll,. Received our tea, didnt taste very good, received the tempora calamari, it looked like it was deep fried twice and was not tempora like the picture on the menu, tried explaining to the waitress, received attitude, saying its squid, really? Like we didnt know what it is was, it wasnt tempora, it was dark burnt brown and oily, after receiving attitude from the waitress, we walked out, I left cash for the two iced teas, not going to be returning to this restaurant,.>>>>> As you can see by the response from the owner, asking to pay for food that was not given/received to us, not having the food available, or having the waitress explain of the shortage, we ate nothing, we didnt receive any food, other than the wrong calamari, and we did pay for the iced tea, by leaving cash on the table, again we received two iced teas, and the wrong calamari, which was returned and not eaten, I would not recommend this place, asking to pay for our order that we did not receive is unprofessional business practice,

When I first sat down there were Flies flying in the windows, the server never came and checked up on us except for drinks I had to wave her down just to order. This was my first time ever eating ramen and Ive heard it was good from here. I got chicken ramen with egg and cheese which is extra in case you didnt know. The chicken was boiled and had a weird smell, ramen was over cooked and had way too much cheese(I asked for a little). No seasoning but spicy broth. I took no more than two bites and asked to get something else because I didnt like it. The manager wouldnt stop by the table, they made me pay full price for something I didnt eat. I asked more than once from them to remove it from the table because of the smell and they wouldnt. Will never come back here and wont be referring this place to anyone! The manager needs to learn some customer service because he for sure had none.

I thought it was a decent restaurant. The workers are friendly and the all you can eat sushi was cheaper compared to the one i regularly go. But this restaurant could be better. If i had to make conplaints it would be the soy sauce. I wish they used kiko kamen and the soy sauce that had less sodium seems to taste like the regular one. The service is somewhat sub-par i would like it if they can refill my water or check up on me. The sushi was fine but the how they roll sushi doesnt seem to have that work of art compared to my regular one. I would only come here again if i am not in the mood to pay 3 dollars for sushi.

Today is probably the last day that I will be considering to eat at Masturi. My husband & I used to eat here at least twice every other month & we would always get all you can eat because the price was reasonable, they would try to implement new special menu items, the food was good, & also have nice presentation. Masturi had become my least favorite sushi restaurant to eat simply because every time we would visit Masturi the servers have no knowledge about the food, servers, cooks, & managers would have a 15 minute conversation -- in the meantime, there are no drinks being refilled, orders are taking longer to be completed, & customers waiting on food & service. My husband & I would order 2 plates a piece & every time I order for my first round of all you can eat my plate would always come first, but they would always forget my second plate for every round... We fill in our orders on a sheet but the cooks & servers are not being accountable for the orders coming in & all the orders that should be coming out. It took 15 minutes for my second plate to come to the table after I finished my first plate & my husband finished both of his. We were the a only people in the restaurant during this time (3:00pm) a side from a gentleman that walked in & sat behind us after our first round was completed. Service only got worse after that... Again... cooks, managers, & servers talked for so long, when the second round came about my husband order 2 plates & I order a California hand roll... My husbands plates came while I patiently waited for my hand roll just to only receive food & a all you can eat menu that did not belong to me but sadly to the gentleman sitting behind who had been waiting just as long as me. Once I informed the server that the plate was not ours she didnt even realize the plate was at the wrong table. I still didnt get my hand roll & the gentleman was so upset he waited so long for his 4 roll order & that it went to wrong table. He got up & left without even touching his food... 10 mins go by... I still didnt get my roll... Servers werent aware that another plate was still missing & at that moment I was ready to go. Sushi is too costly to not get good service or your moneys worth.

The food was yummy and delicious! We had three people ordering the AYCE... This was my first time there and it was a lot of fun sharing sushi & celebrating our sons birthday.Id give it five stars if the service had not been so dismissive of our request to explain what each of the plates our server delivered, were. In our case some wanted spicy while others did not. She took the orders and when returning placed several rolls onto table as if in a speed race and left us to figure out which was which. Also allergies were in play so itve been nice to know which each of the speciality rolls were named aloud by her in order to differenciate the spicy from the not spicy. She also forgot several appetizers like edamame and never brought ginger or wasabe. We had to ask her to tell us which of the rolls were which and she couldnt.That said, Ill definately be back because its local and close to home. Also the sushi is awesome!The up side on the service was we didnt give 20% tip to the the server. This was hands down the worst place Ive ever ordered ramen. I ordered the beef and the broth smelled and tasted fishy. The meat was overcooked and chewy. The ingredients were not remotely close to, or of the same flavor profile as traditional or authentic ramen. The servers were very young women, undertrained, and seemed very disorganized. My husband ordered Ramen, took one taste & informed the waitress that he did not like the Ramen because it DID NOT TASTE GOOD and wanted to order something else. I went in today with friends recommendation for this place. We got three all you can eats but ordered some ramen separately from the ayce as well. One thing that stood out to me from other ayce is the freshness of fish. I know some people claim that some fish are fishy when they eat fish, which hardly made sense to me but no one can claim such thing here. I tried almost every fish with their ayce and all fish were very fresh. With the ramen, I honestly have to say it is sooooo worth getting because it was so delicious! I have never had better ramen anywhere else. I dont know what made it so good and I thought it was enough to think that their sushi restaurant was a ramen place. Im not sure if they specialize in ramen but ramen is definitely a must try even if you are not getting ayce. I highly recommend getting the ramen one day if youre hungry but not hungry enough for ayce. My friend asked one of the servers why there are so many new servers she hasnt seen before and the server said the owner had hired a lot new servers. I think it explains why the service today was friendly despite what the reviews here claim. How quickly you get the food depends on how busy it is so we didnt mind waiting. The service is friendly can be slow sometimes but we agreed that it is worth waiting because quality is fantastic for ayce and the price is very reasonable. Oh one last thing we went in right before dinner time so the servers were getting ready for dinner like closing the blinds, dimming the lights a little bit, it seemed like it would make nice moody restaurant for couples at night time. This is one of very few sushi restaurants in this city. They offer all you can eat. Eating 2 rolls will be equal to ordering 2 rolls individually. If you dont want to risk the whole raw fish thing, they have great California rolls and fried options that are absolutely delicious. The Golden Tiger roll is a bit greasy, but is easily my favorite fried roll. If youre ok with raw fish, i recommend the rainbow roll or the cajun rainbow roll which is my favorite fresh roll. Most of the items have descriptions on the menu. The wait staff is typically pretty knowledgeable of the menu items. If i could eat there every day, i would.

One of the worst experiences at a restaurant. I got the unagi bowl and asked for extra unagi, ok with extra charges. Bowl was all rice, like 4 pieces of eel. It was $15. For a basic bowl of rice and protein I could get Flame Broiler for $6. Beside this was others at my table who ordered all you can eat and never got multiple things they ordered. It was an absolute bumble figuring out who ordered what and what they had already received. For $25/person they should have a system for ordering that isnt so complicated. Writing it on the paper is clearly not working. Definitely wont be back. Absolutely a horrible experience and wouldnt go back even if the food were free.

Food was good. Price was reasonable. Service was extremely lackluster to the point that they gave us another tables order, forgot our order, had us sitting there awkwardly waiting as they had a group discussion literally 10 feet away from us. Wont be coming back.

I was pretty big on oiishi sushi, I went there all the time. But after a while the quality of the sushi wasnt just hitting it for me as much. I decided to try Matsuri (Ive lived in moval for 20 years, they have changed owners many times) and was delightfully surprised by their all you can eat and staff. Definitely a nice place, very family friendly. Oiishi is a bit too much like a club for me and can be less relaxing than Id like.

Its a really good place, have all you can eat sushi all day for $25. You pretty much get your moneys worth by 3 plates of sushi and then you get to eat more. They also have nice side options included like fried rice and teriyaki chicken.

Very poor service. When we arrived the hostess pointed to the back of the restaurant and said You can sit back there. Um, youre the hostess, isnt it your job to seat us, and give us menus? The table was squished against a refrigerator and hard to maneuver around. And then when I asked for a high chair for my baby I was holding, the waitress informed me they didnt have any. I looked behind me and saw a larger table that woukd be easier to sit at if I was going to have to hold a baby throughout dinner. I asked to be seated there. The waitress looked at me like I had a second head growing out of my neck. Then, she said Ummm, well, no. Not really. Thats a big table for more people. So, no. The tone was very rude and condescending. Like I was stupid for asking. Our family got up and left. Not interested in returning.

PEOPLE WITH ALERFIES/ VEGETARIANS/VEGANS AVOID AT ALL COSTS.I ordered some food for delivery all of which strictly had vegetable ingredients listed on the menu and when it arrived they had thrown loose pieces of extra sushi with fish in every single box contaminating absolutely everything and making it impossible to eat . They also sent me the wrong gyoza and I bit into meat instead of veggies, when I called to tell them they were unbearable rude. These people don’t understand or care how serious allergies can be & I would be shocked if these workers are serve safe certified based on how much cross contamination was evident

The rolls are horrible..fish and shrimp and avocado. Is old ..Waiters are not good with keeping up with orders and costumes. . Have no alcohol license. . Did not have teriyaki chicken .They did not have my ice cream i order but they give me a cheese cake on the house..That was old with freezer bits.. and plastic spoons. ..And they lost track of me and i was waiting for a good 10 mins for my waiter..I highly recommend sushi asahi. Have ate here several times before. Started a low carb diet so I thought I could get riceless sushi rolls. (Have at one in Riverside) and the waitress said no problem but the sushi chef (in his language) said something to my waitress basically telling no. No riceless sushi unless I pay more which I said no problem but then decided that NO. Needless to say no going back.

I was staying on an overnight work trip in Moreno Valley, CAService was awesome!Atmosphere was nice.The menu listed a ramen combination which I really liked.Gyoza appetizer was ok.I ordered the beef ramen. The ramen was Horrible....but I ate it all.The noodles were instant skinny noodles from an instant soup packageThe beef was balled up like it was removed from the freezer straight into the pot, the beef did not have any taste.The broth tasted like Mexican beef soup flavor. The soup had carrots and zucchini like Mexican beef soup.The ramen egg was a fried egg as if served with breakfast. DISAPPOINTED!I ordered seaweed and extra garlic but I didnt see it or taste it in my ramen.If you like Instant type fast food type ramen this will work.

Hubby and Is go-to sushi spot. Take-out orders include a jalapeno stuffed with spicy crab meat and cream cheese, dipped in tempura, fried and cut in half. I dont know what they are called. Weve only recieved them when we order our sushi to go and they are delicious!!

The place has changed. Mold on my food really?! The middle aged lady was the only one with her head on straight. The guy making the sushi was eating on the job, popping food into his mouth as he worked. The young waitress kept hiding until orders were called, then shed disappear again. The tempura was too greasy to eat and was served with water with green onoins floating in it . I figured they had someone make the dipping sauce that had forgotten the recipe. The edamame had not been steamed enough, so it was inedible. The miso soup was very sad . I asked them to just please box up my lunch to go after my tea came( a cup of warm water with a tea bag ) I thought that if they make you make the tea I will have to re cook my lunch. I left a 20.00 for a 14.00 tab and was surprised to find moldy oranges in my lunch container. I was polite and its a good thing I was home because I would have been very upset with them. I paid 20.00 for a lesson in dining today. My cat is now trying to get it out of the trash.....Sad .....oh and I took photos

They put salad dressing on some of the nigiri. The pickled ginger smelled like a urinal. The Wasabi is fake. The Ramen is basically instant noodles. The rice was bland and didnt seem to have vinegar in it. The food supplies were brought in through the dining room. Awful. Beyond terrible. The worst sushi Ive ever had.

I got an octopus salad, it wasnt even the English Websters definition of a salad (a cold dish of various mixtures of raw or cooked vegetables, usually seasoned with oil, vinegar, or other dressing and sometimes accompanied by meat, fish, or other ingredients.) It was just octopus in lettuce. Sadly disappointed as Ive been here many times before. My tighty had black floaties in it, they said from the tea. Dont waste your money on your time.
