We were visiting Santa Barbara and asked Mattias to cook a big family dinner for us at our Airbnb... and it did not disappoint in the slightest!! Great communicator, food options, and he was very personable. Everything was so smooth from set up to clean up... and the dishes were SO incredibly tasty. It was hard to pick a favorite course. Would absolutely recommend Mattias, and would book again!

Chef Mattias was the consummate professional. We hosted a dinner for a birthday celebration. He was very responsive in helping organize the menu, including accommodating for one of our friends with a dietary restriction. The dishes we selected was very California-influenced, which meant fresh seasonal local ingredients. Overall, the meal was on par with any fine-dining experience, but more obviously far more intimate and rustic. Finally, the chef came with everything including silverware so it felt like a Michelin-starred kitchen and dining room was transported to your home.

Mattias cooked an amazing meal for our family in our AirBnb in Santa Barbara to celebrate a special event. He took all the hassle out of having a gourmet meal at home, was very professional, and it only takes one bite of his food to know he is a very talented chef! He was punctual and left the kitchen spotless when he was done. It will definitely be an experience we will always remember! Highly recommend.

Mattias is a true artist in the kitchen. We enjoyed our private chef experience, the incredible meal and his pleasant company. Our next escape to Santa Barbara will definitely include an evening with him.

Mattias cooked for us (8 people/late October) for my wife’s 50th birthday. He was easy to work with in advance, was prompt on arrival in our rental property, Worked quietly behind the scenes with ease and produced an absolutely fantastic meal. The mushroom soup and duck were Michelin star quality.He worked around our schedule perfectly. And when done, the kitchen was spotless.Absolutely everything you want in an evening with a private chef.Could not recommend Mattias enough.

Mattias cooked for our group of six in our beautiful Santa Ynez rental. It was an amazing meal down to the table decor. The food was an incredible experience of fresh locally sourced produce and fish. We couldn’t have had a better meal in a restaurant!!! Would absolutely recommend Mattias for your next event or private dinner!!!

We had Mattia’s prepare a private dinner for our group of 6 recently and it was amazing! We had just finished a long bike ride and hoped this would be a relaxing experience and man, did he deliver. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and all the food was beautifully prepared, tasted perfect snd even the table setting was awesome. Just a wonderful experience and we will have him back on our next trip for sure!!
