I’ll start off with I booked in Hotels.com to try to make it as easy as I could for booking. To keep it as short as I can, don’t waste your time with that. I had booked for five days and only used the one day because there was an incident where I had to call 911 for abuse a few doors down. I had told front desk I no longer wanted to stay as I did not feel safe, and am still not able to get refunded as a result. I had asked for non smoking bedroom and the second I walked in I smelt smoke, the bathroom smelled weird, and there was carvings all over the mirrors. I do not recommend this place.
I love this place the office staff is awesome the rooms are nice and you can tell they really have been cleaned...not not other places Ive stayed where i actually have to bring my own cleaning supplies so I can clean and disinfect my entire room before my stay....i leave happy every time
It is a very nice Place witch I dont mind paying the amount they want iv seen worse for the amount they want here the rooms are clean there nice and quiet I mean there very well taken care of
Clean room, hot shower, but it stopped there unfortunately. I had planned to stay 2 nights, but ended up leaving after my first. Extremely loud environment with lots of heavy traffic outside, and people banging on doors in the motel all through the night. 2 thin sheets offered very little comfort through the night(bed also had some hair on it), and a lack of fridge/microwave was disappointing. Wifi was spotty, but worked. Front desk didnt seem to have my reservation on file either, which was concerning. I guess compared to other options in the area around the same price point, its not bad, but thats a pretty low bar. Friendly enough staff and clean room, but Ill pass on future visits since the cons so heavily outweighed the pros.
Its still awesome and very happy every time I stay there but there taking a turn for the worse . They make u wait till 7pm so they can now be included in the sleazy hour rental disgusting take youre home to maywood inn once nice family type atmosphere is just another home down cheap trashy motel and its sad cause its a decent spot cant win them allm
For the price you cant beat honestly its a decent room got two nights here separate rooms cause I was looking for something else couldnt find anything... This palce is remodeled and looks way better and I s genuinely clean.Only issue is I would recommend them to replace the a/c filter because one of the rooms room 203 to be exact has a foul smell coming from the AC the night before it was just perfect but this morning when I turned on horrid smell other than that I would totally recommend to people especially since it is family friendly and very calm
Its good for the price. Dont expect it to be the best.If its cold, ask for extra blankets and pillows they almost have nothing.Would l rent it again?Yes, but bringing my own sheets, blankets, and pillows.

Its a Motel not a Hotel. We drove past the place because the name was listed wrong. We ran into a couple of issues at check in and ended up having to switch rooms because the first one they gave us was dirty. If you just need a room for the night its a good price for a bed. Bring a blanket if you want to be warm. A thin sheet and a thin cover plus one to two pillows per bed.
Lots of bad reviews. I think there renovated the hotel or maybe its under new management but i didnt have any problems while staying here 2 nights. Ive seen reviews about this being in a shady neighborhood which may be true but i never felt unsafe and walked around the local bars and late night eating spots. There was plenty of parking and spots were not tiny. The room had hard wood floors. There room didnt smell weird but was very Spartan. A bed, nightstand, table, tv and place to hang clothes. No closet or coffee maker or dresser. There were a couple holes in the wall where outlets were being placed but did not affect my stay. Mattress was a little on the firm side. Did not see any cockroaches either. It was around 100° and the last night we were there, I saw a few ants in the bathroom. I think they were looking for water. I would stay here again for the price.

Its a simple and a bit old hotel, it looks like some parts have been reciently renewed. Its nothing fancy or luxurious, in my experience it was clean. A good option if you want something just to spend the nights. It has tv, and air conditioning, it does have wifi but a poor signal.
The rooms were remodeled and it shows. The furniture is all new, including all the light fixtures (no missing bulbs).The dressers have all drawers intact. The wood flooring combines nicely w/curtains, as does the bedding comforters. Theres no cigarrette burn holes as is customary w/motel rooms.In short, this is not the same motel of the past. Its definately worth the price. Im definately recommending it to friends and family. But dont take my word for it..come see it 4 yourself!
My experience here at Maywood Inn was very comfortable. The room design is very chic and Id stay here again if Im ever need.
I been comming here for almost a year now, motel recently got remodeld and upgraded clean inviorment. Front desk are super nice and helpful. Theres plenty of restaurants & shopping stores around the area for your convenience. Plenty of parking spaces you never have to worry about finding any spaces free. I like comming here is a family hotel and until today we havent had any problems that can give us a reason to stop comming!!!
Good rooms and its always clean. hot showers and a TV. With a view out the window. Its great because you get to have privacy. So its realy great there🌺✨👄🌙
This hotel is garbage theres escorts comming in and out of this hotel the staff is rude. I come back from the convention my blanket was gone. Room was not clean. Will not stay here ever again looking for another hotel as we speak. This place is trash! Save Your Money
I stayed at this place for 6 months during a transition of households. Newly renovated, great house keeping crew. Jeff and jim at the front desk were always more than helpful.
Not really expensive but rooms have no exhaust.
No cable, no tv remote otherwise room is.decent. floors in room not safe at all when wet very, very. Slippery when coming out of the shower.

Do not stay there unless if you want to possibly end up having something happened to you. Terrible terrible neighborhood and terrible terrible people that are allowed to stay not everyone but its one of those kind that they allow the drug dealers the abusive ones that beat their wives and all kinds of crazy stuff. This place is the best motel or hotel if your around maywood hp bell south gate or any city near by. The staff is really friendly and I stayed here for 3 days in a row on a superbowl weekend really good price very beautiful rooms. Horrible costumer service. They were rude, and unpleasant. They didnt let me, know that it was our last day there and we had to get our stuff. They bagged it all up and threw it in the hallway. Always started at us like we were animals.

The stay was good for the price, the cons is that they didnt have an iron only in reception and I couldnt use the TV because the control had no batteries and then I couldnt get the channels to work.

2023-08-13 20:55:25Horrible experience. Don’t waste your time and money staying at this hotel. Although the front desk employees are polite and respectful, the management is lacking in many aspects. I had booked a stay for 5 nights and paid upon arrival. I ended up having to check out early because their wifi wouldn’t work in my room and they couldn’t fix it. I was told my money would be refunded in full and that they would do a separate transaction to only charge me for the nights I stayed. They ended up charging me for my original booking PLUS the nights I stayed. When I called to explain this, they argued with me and told me their bank had refunded me “the difference” -which is not even what they promised to refund. I have had 30+ phone calls with this hotel trying to get my refund. They requested a bank statement from me, which I was happy to provide. Still no response from them, very poor communication. Now 2 months later, I am still arguing with management to try and get my refund. They have come up with every excuse in the book as to why they can’t refund me my money. They continually promised to call me back with updates, which they failed to do. Seems that they do not value customer satisfaction and are incapable of keeping to their word.

The parking lot is secured and very accessible four people stay in there I did not have to walk much.!!Lol

I asked to be moved to another room they did which was cool . Then I’m going to go to sleep cleaning up the room a bit and then that was it for me . Can’t do the roach thing no matter how small they are .

2019-10-16 03:40:05The room was clean but had no phone, no clock and the toilet didnt flush properly. Because of this, the bathroom smelled like sewer. Electric outlet in the bathroom didnt work. Comforter was very thin. Only two large towels were provided. We arrived very late the first night so we let them know about the issues the next morning. They assured us the toilet and outlet issues would be resolved however after coming back to the room late that night we discovered they were not. The area is not bad and the front desk people are nice. They just need to make the rooms a bit more comfortable.
