2023-10-11 15:31:41I recently stumbled upon this wonderful family-owned restaurant that offers a vegetarian menu, and I must say it was a delightful discovery. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. The cozy and intimate setting made for a delightful evening, and I cannot wait to return to sample more of their vegetarian dishes, each of which was truly mouthwatering. I also want to express my gratitude for the mint tea, which is the greatest as it simply contain fresh leaves. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food and a cozy setting. I cant wait to come back again!

2023-10-16 05:14:54Impeccable food, drinks, and vibes. The pita bread was quite simply the best I’ve ever had. Hummus and Black Tahini were perfect. Perfect place to gather and try a little bit of everything on the menu.

2023-12-02 02:22:34Really wonderful food. Extremely clean and fresh ingredients. Tonight I did not but I have dined there outside and its quite a cool vibe and environ. Once you enter inside the restaurant you get this not until. Thought and care goes into the food, the service. Each visit I am greeted with respect and a super charming staff. I very much do recommend this restaurant.

2023-06-24 04:32:44NO KOSHER WINE.Let’s start. No designated parking, this is an industrial area, we parked about 10 minutes away.Came on time to our reservation, was told to wait outside, again it’s industrial waiting outside is not classy. Both the waitresses and the hostess wanted nothing to do with us. No hello, no explanation, proper mutesFinally sat after 20 minutes.Took 10 minutes to get watersTook 10 more minutes to get a waitressTook 25 minutes for appetizersFood is alright, nothing is out of ordinaryWe didn’t finish half of our food.Couldn’t wait to get out, didn’t stay for desert.

2023-01-25 06:53:00Wow, finally visited LA and high on my list was to enjoy a meal at Mazal, so we did. It was just as Id hoped-DELICIOUS!! The place was packed inside & out last Saturday evening. We were 8 persons so we ordered almost everything to share. We started with several bottles of the Pasini San Giovanni Il Lugana Da Uve Turbiana wine, tasty cracked olives, very warm pita bread and about 6 fantastic spreads: spicy tahini, black sesame tahini, 3 kinds of hummus, and babaganoush. Served next were the marinated beets, Moroccan carrots, cheese and potato bourekas, and delicious cheesy, herb flat bread with grapes! Then the main dishes appeared; chamin, roasted cauliflower, charred broccoli, roasted potatoes and vegetable couscous. An incredible night that Ill never forget. The cozy atmosphere, the attractive Mediterranean décor, the friendly service and the absolutely scrumptious food!P.S. We took dessert to go; chocolate covered dates with a nut filling :b

2023-12-01 05:11:14We went with a large group and ordered a number of items from the menu. This is great authentic Israeli food. The pita is thick and fluffy like in Israel. It was a great vessel for the well seasoned homemade hummus. The same with the burekas. The chocolate pastry dessert was a perfect finish. In between we had a variety of vegetarian dishes, all reminding me of Israel. Beets, carrots, cauliflower and tahini, cous cous and vegetables. The service was quick and friendly and the food was plentiful. If you are looking for authentic Israeli food, I highly recommend Mazal.

2022-09-24 22:15:09We loved our visit! The food is so, so tasty and super authentic, and reasonably priced. The Jerusalem Toast was particular intriguing and delicious. Service was good too.Park on the street out front. Reservations recommend for peak nights. You may wind up indoors because the dining room is way bigger than the patio.

2022-07-17 05:49:55Randomly stumbled across this place and I’m so glad I did. This is classic Israeli fare that’s simple but executed very well. There were many vegan options for my friend so that’s a plus too!Definitely recommend trying the dips - we enjoyed the baba ghanoush and pita, which was so incredibly fluffy.Vegan bourekas and pita with z’aatar were great. The roasted veggies (cauliflower and harissa brussel sprouts) were hearty dishes that leaves you feeling full and healthy.Vibes in the backyard patio were immaculate.
